So, warriors, does this sound familiar? It should for you fans or even if you’ve followed this blog. Warrior preached it all the times, I’ve mentioned it numerous times, and also sign it in all my books given out. I realized it has never gotten its own post and my other site references this topic quite frequently. Maybe some of you might not even know what your intuition is much less trying to follow it.
A few months ago, I started a private Facebook group with a friend of mine who has led many workshops these last few years on spiritual things. It’s all about using your own natural gifts and listening to what you FEEL. I have this question to ask of the group but I’ll ask you all as well. What is your first answer to this:
“I can best use my intuition by…”
It does help if you know what it is but I’ll explain a little.
We have 3 big internal systems warriors. Am sure you’ve heard of them. If you’re a regular here, you can probably guess. It’s your head, (logic) heart, (emotions) and gut (intuition.) Your gut is the one that ropes them all together. That’s why you hear about gut instincts, your first response, and then acting on that. Listen to yourself, not others. It’s that voice that comes from within when faced with any decision- big or small.
I will answer that question on behalf of Warrior himself and me. It’s the same thing and he’d agree.
“I can best use my intuition by doing what feels right for me.”
You can word it however you wish but that’s essentially what it comes down to. The gut never lies and you need to trust it- always. I’m not dismissing the head or heart of course ever. Balance is key. O.K., sometimes we regret later but remember that it’s never the action but the WAY of the action that can be changed.
Let’s ponder another question. How about this? “What happens if you don’t follow your intuition, how can you tell?” It can be tricky because sometimes we may not have a sensation or feeling right away. For me, I get a physical knot. Guess where? The gut! I actually have had this my entire life but ignored it for years. Now, I don’t and know better. You may get a physical feeling of being “off” anywhere in your body like a rapid heartbeat, low back pain, or anything. This is only when faced with making a decision and not extremely medical or everyday aches and pains. It can be emotional too, not just physical.
The best way to get in touch with your intuition is by doing things you ENJOY most. That will give you the greatest feelings ever. It doesn’t have to be complicated at all warriors. You don’t need to be a nature fanatic or into meditation like me but those work incredibly well. It’s all your belief systems and how you do the work.
Observe signs that will lead you towards something. Yours may not be mine since all our journeys are different but just notice. Work with your senses and keep the balance of all 3 parts. This may sound super spiritual to some but really it can be any practices you love.
Once you tap into your own way of intuition, you can use it, trust it, and know it your whole life. I never knew this word growing up- did you? I learned it as “conscience” since that is a religious term. It’s the Spirit or God working thru you. If this isn’t a belief of yours, just think of it as the inner part of you that knows right from wrong, good over evil, and how to best guide you. Yes, some things are taught but many choices we make as adults are instinctual. Others may disagree but your free will gives you the ability to decide situations for yourself, not others. When you move thru life as we all do, reflect sometimes on these choices. Remember your feelings count and actions taken back then were right at that time.
Follow your intuition warriors since nobody can do that for you. It is always there for us all. Warrior thrived on this message and I am continuing what he began so long ago because my beliefs are the same. We may need a wake-up call to find it but once you do, you have your OWN internal GPS for life. It can be fun too! 😉💙
~~ A side note: I draw a card everyday as I’ve talked about oracle cards some but today from my Shaman deck I drew:
***Luminous Warrior… How “intuitively” perfect for my Wednesday of writing! I wrote a post a few years ago on that card!
“Never apologize for trusting your intuition- your brain can play tricks, your heart can blind, but your gut is always right.” ~~ Rachel Wolchin
P.S. Warrior stressed needing time alone – however that looks to you. Make it long enough to count. Don’t fear being alone, it truly works. Take it from him and take it from me. Don’t ya love that quote above? I bet Warrior does too… 🥰
