I have to begin with a funny story that I usually save for a P.S. at the end but it’s going first today. Last weekend my husband was fixing the wheel barrow. It had a wobbly wheel for a while now. I saw him outside with the wheelbarrow and asked if it was all fixed . He says to me: “Yep, it’s all warrior-ed up!” Huh??? Did he just say that? I didn’t respond but almost laughed out loud! So, now that word becomes a verb… I used the wheelbarrow recently so guess it’s good to go! Oh my, am I hearing things??? π€£π³π€I walked away looking upward while giggling..
Well, let’s move on… It’s a new month again. September. Soon, Autumn or Fall will be here where I live but before that, it’ll be my birthday. Technically, it’s still in the summer, yay! This 3- peat isn’t referencing Demolition 3- peating as WWF tag team champs in WMVI. It isn’t referencing ALL of the many others who have won titles multiple times either. It’s more about discovery today. Are you ready to be a scientist doing research with me? Get out your lab coats and beakers. π©π»βπ¬ I guess you can still have your wrestling gear nearby too. Have you ever wondered what a marvel the human body truly is? Let’s not forget the mind or even our spirit for that 3- peat. Warrior recognized all of them to push himself physically and mentally. We need to do the same.
You don’t have to be an extremist, but just keep learning all your life. I looked up some info and you can too but this stuff truly fascinates me. The human brain only weighs 3 pounds. Only 3 and yet holds more than 6,000 thoughts in a single day. WHAT??? I knew some details but isn’t that amazing warriors? 3 pounds of over 6,000 thoughts is tough to process. Any more and we’d probably topple over! Despite those thoughts, our brain enables us to do so much while here, and yet there’s always room for more learning. Aristotle believed that the heart affects how we are feeling and reacting. This we know but all those years ago, many believed the brain regulated much more than the heart ever did. He also stated how the heart is the center of the SOUL. Yep, truth right there indeed. π€
Do any of you remember me writing about that eyedrop commercial after Warrior’s passing? My goodness, what emotion back then. I often wondered with crying (and yes, happy tears too) π₯² how we are never done? I wrote that too but how about statements like this :
” I am only crying about this for 2 days!”
” I’m only gonna be mad about this for 5 hours…”
***We only WISH those were true but we can always try to let the bad sh*t go… then, we might be excited for something days or weeks on end when others don’t even care. π That’s the heart, not the brain which brings out those feelings. How is there always more? More tears, more excitement, more anger, and all in between? We never say we are finished and there’s not enough room anymore in our brain or heart. They never fill up and are containers for life.
Let’s bring in the gut here too. We need that 3 count to 3- peat always. Warrior mentioned the gut often as being our intuition, instinct, and our inner voice of just knowing. We need this the most. Ever heard of “women’s intuition?” Yep, we have it guys but don’t always listen. You have it too, as it guides us to that balance with the others like I say A LOT! The gut brain connection is real. Be your own scientist to find out more. We have to calm our nervous system to keep our 3’s together. That vagus nerve runs down our body from the brain stem all the way to the base of our spine. It’s the biggest nerve we have and yes, you can help it along. Sukie Baxter over at YouTube has a great channel called “Whole Body Revolution” with exercises to help and they are super easy. I found her a few years back. I knew a little but again, always learning. Once that vagus nerve is relaxed, the systems work better keeping us healthy. Check her out if interested. Workouts aren’t just physical but mental too. π
Our big 3 of brain (head,) heart (emotion,) and gut ( intuition,) will be on 3-peat our entire lives so we need to take care of them every way we can. They all need to work together as a team ( of last week) without one dominating the other. It’s kind of like how we can always use more friends and don’t just have one. You might have a BFF but that isn’t your only person. At least I hope not. Like I stated earlier, you’ll never just cry for one thing either as those tears will repeat forever. They do say age reduces brain cells but we can, and should do our best to strengthen them. Time never stops so we can’t fully either. Become educated as there’s so much out there now more than ever to be part of. Those 3 want you to be the best you can so we learn, feel, and know as humans on this planet.
Research is immense warriors. Despite your busy life, don’t just go through the motions without truly thanking yourself for being the marvel you ARE… I’m trying to do this more after a long day of going and doing. Just be grateful and tell all of you: ” Thanks for serving me the best you could today.” It might sound crazy but does make one feel good…
O.K., another quick movie reference here. I cannot believe I ever left this one off my list.. ” Death Becomes Her.” I had just seen it too! Yes, I know- that reference again. I have a dark sense of humor warriors… ππ«’ Those women didn’t take care of themselves and wanted to live forever. As the Ultimate Warrior said in his WMVI speech about Hulk Hogan: ” … physically, none of us can live forever!” Nope, we cannot but in that movie ( which was hilarious!) those ladies sure try… They literally fall apart. Our 3-peat is part of us so take care of them and they will take care of you.,,
P.S. That pic of U.W. below was from the SummerSlam Spectacular back in ’92. I had no idea WWF (E) did that for 3 years before their PPV’s. Also, for WM and Survivor Series ! Always learning… π²ππ»ββοΈπͺπ»π«΅π»οΏΌοΏΌοΏΌοΏΌοΏΌοΏΌοΏΌ
