The Indy Trip ðŸŒðŸðŸ†

No, warriors- I wasn’t at an Indy 500 race or had been in the area but my husband was. He rarely if ever goes away on business and if he does, it’s just for the day. Sometimes, there will be the occasional overnight so back in 2015, he went to Indianapolis. I remember Warrior mentioning how the WWF used to go there a lot in his early years and well, he was from Indiana which is also his oldest daughter’s name so how about that? WrestleMania VIII was also held in the Hoosier dome there in 1992.

My husband had gone east to PA and even further west to the St. Louis arch in Missouri but never Indy. He was able to see the track and went into a souvenir shop. The kids were excited to get some T-shirts as gifts plus a few other goodies when he arrived home. My daughter’s shirt was all about the DreamWorks movie “Turbo” which came out in 2013. We actually bought the film since they loved it so much! A snail racing in the Indy 500? Where do they come up with such ideas? Cute movie though.

Am remembering the only thing I struggled with when he was gone became math homework. Ugh, so not my subject and even then- the kids were past the ages where Mama could help. We’d screenshot the problems they’d get stuck on and send them as he’d call from the hotel room with answers. I let them stay up later and wait outside on the patio with the dog as the sun set waiting for Daddy to get home the next night. Of all places to go back then and he gets sent to Indiana. It was also in April, oh my… 💙 That’s almost an hour away from Warrior’s hometown of Crawfordsville. Why not north to Michigan or even south to Kentucky? Nope, he went one state away to the west. “One State Away” is a chapter in my book Spirit and Belief but that’s another story. I still think it would be cool to take a trip there just to see the track and even though I am not much of a racing fan, it’s historic which is very popular to the state. It started back in 1909, such rich history. I wonder if Warrior ever got there? 🏎

It’s held Memorial Day weekend here and that is always around my daughter’s birthday in May. We did like the 2019 movie ” Ford vs. Ferrari” and believe it or not, there was a Warrior connection but that’s just a little sidenote for me… 😉Signs aren’t just in dreams, when I’m working out, looking at U.W. videos, or even during meditation.

Moving on as that was just a little short memory of Indiana once again. Remember how I talked about color last week? Well, that connects to something I was advised to try– painting👩🏻‍🎨 . Warrior was an artist as is my girl so why me? At my last Energy Healing session, I had asked about some new issues and especially concerning my right leg. There’s always something, huh? I have had discomfort but nothing that would impair me from doing activities. I do have those internal fibroids and a hamstring that acts up sometimes but this seemed different. It can be just the calf muscle but then in the upper thigh. I was wondering if we could possibly explore this so she did.

Those guides or angels of mine came through and related how it’s a creative issue. We always assume the physical but what does that mean? I know with our brains how the left side is logic and right is creative but is our body different? Turns out after looking up some info, she discovered that our right side is the masculine while the right is feminine. Not to worry here, we need both and use both every day. My masculine side of doing, going, and thinking needs a rest. The feminine side is the intuitive or relaxed and the part that needs me to just BE for a bit. It makes sense since the sign of Virgo (me) is controlled by the planet Mercury which is intellect. Geminis have this too. Don’t want to get into too much astrology here, but it’s very true on this journey of mine.

There’s some new info for all of you I bet as it was for me as well concerning the body types. It seems I have some creative blocks with writing and I actually knew this. Both blogs have kinda put me in slumps lately and I’ve struggled bringing engaging content. I LOVE writing and sharing with everyone on these platforms but it was suggested I not wait for my summer trip and break now. At least for a month anyway. I was shocked to hear that and tears formed a little. My guides don’t steer me wrong and I know I needed to listen to these words. Painting was their idea but not to give it much thought. Just even a few strokes on paper regularly to feel inspired in a new way. I’m not expecting a masterpiece but those two Geminis in my life that are artists can witness my “creations!” This will be a first taking such a long break but I have painted before. It was part of a yoga class and my beach scene hangs in our house. All of it was guided though while this is to be spontaneous. I need to go with the flow more and just BE… I do have free will to not take their advice but I’m learning to listen more.

This actually is a good time to break for me as soooo much will be happening with my kids and family concerning important milestones. Plus, I’m liking how that pic of Warrior you see is more current than a wrestler pic so that fits to end this month of April. I will MISS connecting on here but to anyone new, you have 5.5 years of posts to get all caught up! 😬 I will return hopefully more creatively inspired and maybe a lighter tone. I do share quite a bit as SO many personal stories get back in my Warrior memories but perhaps these writings will take on a different angle. Not to fret, I will always relate in the same way with Warrior stuff and myself but evolving we must do.

I still hear from fans and even those who have read my book so it’s always very encouraging. A woman in my FB intuitive group had messaged me a little while back about re-reading the pages on a spiritual awakening. Had to look up those sections to be sure! When she had sent that message, I was in the middle of reading something Warrior had written. I told her that and she commented on it being a sign. Of course it was because I always believe. 📗

I believe in all of you too whether you are spiritual, a fan of Warrior, or just like my stuff. Spend time doing what you love but take those breaks too. We have to let go of control and give that doing side a rest. Most of us aren’t pro wrestlers who have to GO all the time. We also need to switch up our routines every now and then. Guess this is what I am advised to do so despite some initial fear, I believe it is for my highest good. Happy early month of May warriors and reach out to me about your ultimate stories! This leg block has got to go… Let’s all take time to slow down on that Indy track and enjoy the ride.

P.S. I have also loved getting in touch with some other guys Warrior knew personally the last several years of his life. I am humbled they took the time to respond. ❤️‍🩹😊

P.P.S. I feel like watching the movie “Turbo.” Maybe I will (:

The Color Blur ðŸŽ¨ðŸ’™ðŸ’–

What a color blur April and May 2014 was for me in so many ways. No, I’m NOT gonna go back to all that but this is more a continuation of sorts. That expression came to mind because of all the busy stuff which happened in spring of that year. I had mentioned in the post of 2020 “Many Colorful Masks” about my daughter’s painted butterfly cheeks but am expanding on this just a bit today. Here’s a little recap of one event. Right around Warrior’s passing, much was going on in my family life and I needed all that craziness to do. A few days after April 8th, my girl had this dance party at school and got her face painted. I had said how she wanted to keep them on for her Grandpa’s big 70th birthday dinner that Saturday. With shaking hands, Mama redid them just enough so she could show off. There’s more to that time though which I haven’t shared.

The birthday night continued as another color blur was part of me. A few days earlier as a tribute to Warrior, I decided to paint my nails pink, orange, and lime green while alternating of course. 💅 Nobody would even notice (not really anyway) but to me, it was an honor. I wanted them to notice the butterfly painted cheeks of my little girl but my nails, that was just mine and mine alone. We all had a great time as I needed it but still felt like crawling away to be by myself.

A week later was Easter which I decided to host that year. We just had that Holiday here in the U.S. I had made this decision before April and not just solely as a distraction. My one sister offered to host considering that butterfly girl of mine was making her 1st Communion in May and back to back family events are quite a lot. I told her no but thanks for the offer to help. It would all work out while unbeknownst to them, my life needed the activities. That Easter brought more color blurs of eggs, baskets, little girl dresses, and much more fun but internally, I was a mess and would be for quite the time. I did play “Just Dance” on the Wii in our basement to “Beautiful” by One Direction against the girls. Those lyrics got me out of a funk and I came close to winning! Give that song a listen...

About a month or so later, the 1st Communion prepping was upon us. We settled for a dress online that she liked but no veil. She didn’t want one. No tiara either. I didn’t care but explained to her how just about every girl would be wearing one so when she’d see them, to not be upset. It would be too late then. She accepted this even though her mind changes quite often. That’s so anti-Gemini… ♊️ I’ve always applauded her own warrior spirit of independence and not conforming. Yet another reminder back then which would for sure get a lump in my throat. I am that “rebel” too but just didn’t have the voice enough as a child which she always did and still does.

This takes us to shoe shopping and maybe something for her hair. All of her questions made my lump get bigger as I had to stop tears. “Why does everything have to be white, I want some color!” She said that often. Guess where my thoughts went? I tried to explain it to her but even my words sound so silly to me now. White is pure, holy, and it’s tradition. They were all religious aspects which I don’t truly follow too much these days. I have instructed the kids but now they’re on their own with those belief systems. It was so forced on me as a kid and despite some beautiful memories, we need to do what works for us spiritually and religious conformity just doesn’t anymore. You can believe otherwise, no judgment but I have moved forward.

It became another color blur as we did find colorful shoes but they weren’t in her size. White ones had to match the dress after all! Much of her rebelling and questioning made my emotional volcano close to erupting. She got her color and we loved it. We bought a headband with a hot pink flower on the side. I couldn’t have been prouder and when she saw all those veil wearing girls, she didn’t mind. My warrior girl indeed. 🌺

That time was so fast for me as the month and a half ran by just like The Ultimate Warrior would! A color blur of his passing, butterfly cheeks, party balloons and cake, my nails, Easter decor, and then a beautiful pink flower to top off that white dress. O.K., she looked so cute like a mini bride and it’s sort of like “marrying Jesus” but there are many ways to be close to Jesus or any others we may worship. Not wanting to preach here but just being honest as I do. I can’t forget my purple tulips that bloomed that spring too as part of this colorful past. They’ve been mentioned plenty!

The Ultimate Warrior could be quite the color blur with all that he did over the years as time seemed to go very quickly. I’m grateful I could keep up with those exciting years of watching him perform just like I could keep up with that busy colorful time of April and May in 2014. Whew. It’s amazing I held it all together but knew my moments alone were just for me and family stuff counted too. Where are my Emmy Awards, lol?! 😂 I had to balance all that was happening around me involving Warrior, the Universe, and my present life. Another three count. What a color blur it was as time had slowed down just enough so I could take it all in. After all, we need color to paint our world. Just allow your white canvas to expand a little, you may learn something. I sure have...

P.S. In the previous post about masks, you’ll read another Easter connector. It concerned a certain egg I painted one year. It was the same colors (blur) as the batteries I got! 😬🥚🔋🔋**Of course they are both Warrior related… 😉

My Wrestling Confession

Yes, I do have a wrestling confession to make is it may surprise many of you loyal readers on here. I’m not entirely sure what you could be thinking so I’ll tag you in. 😉🤔You probably have heard me say countless of times that I don’t watch any wrestling anymore and haven’t regularly since the Ultimate Warrior disappeared from my TV in Nov. of 1992. That pretty much has remained the same despite some little moments here and there. You all can possibly guess what those were all about. I have watched RAW more lately. There, I said it. The big reveal! The whole 3 hours? No. SmackDown or NXT? Not so much but again, some content on occasion. AEW Dynamite isn’t on my list either although Sting being there is awesome! My bro loves Chris Jericho.

Once in a while, I will be interested in a certain match and might catch a few minutes. I know for most wrestling fans, 3 hours brings so much entertainment and excitement but it seems very loooong to me. Once you get into a storyline or character, I’m sure the time flies but personally that’s even longer than watching a movie! I heard “The Batman” movie is that long but in a theater, I would need more cushion support to sit! 😜 I gotta give you WWE fans (or any other organization) credit for watching all that you do.

I guess after all, I have more to confess. Once WrestleMania XXXVIII ended, I knew videos would be posted. Yes, I looked up all the results but of course some matches intrigued me more than others. Boy, did they top themselves on this one! *** SPOILER ALERT HERE*** I also had to see The Undertaker get inducted. Despite my earlier posts of years past, that character has had an incredible run as the Phenom, Deadman, and of course Taker among other names. Thank you Mark for gifting WWE with over 30 years in the business. How about his hug with Vince? Too sweet… The Ultimate Warrior’s name should’ve been listed at the top since he was Taker’s first big name opponent, just sayin’! Never say never from him. We’ll see what happens... 😬🪦⚱️⚰️

Speaking of Vince, his win in the ring was a first at a WM and then the encounter with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin making a return. Legendary, just legendary. The Stunner wins again! Hard to believe WM runs two nights but with all those divisions, guess that’s a must. Everyone was talking about Cody Rhodes as well and we can’t ever forget all the amazing women Superstars. I’d stay out of Bianca’s way with all that hair, yikes! Oh, I’ve always loved Roman Reigns too. Oops, I never liked “heels” back in the day but he didn’t start out that way. Another confession.

Who is this girl going on and on about WWE? Clearly, she isn’t me but maybe this time, she came out to play a little. Does anyone old enough remember the other WWF shows back in the day? We had Superstars on Saturday A.M. at 11, Challenge on Sunday A.M., and then later on Primetime Friday at 10 P.M. I think– at least where I lived anyways. Let’s not forget SNME, The Main Event, and back when they only had a few PPV’s each year. There was just The Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and The Survivor Series. I do recall In Your House and King of the Ring but look at all the many more they do now. RAW used to compete with WCW’s NITRO and I remember WCW being on Saturdays after WWF at noon on a different channel. So, one could watch both if you wanted those two hours. Yep, just an hour each.

I added up some math here and get this. All 3 WWF (later WWE) shows at an hour a piece equates all 3 hours of RAW now. Crazy, isn’t it? You can watch 7 hours of WWE entertainment each week plus catching up with Peacock or even their Wrestling Network. SmackDown and NXT equally 2 hours each. I bet most of your fans do ALL that but in pure honesty, it’ll never be me.

Back in my day, an hour actually was enough— emotionally speaking! Unless I was watching SNME which took Saturday Night Live’s time slot being 1.5 hours. I’m not a night owl so staying up until 1 A.M. was always like a submission hold but I’d never tap out! Sometimes, I’d be babysitting until 2 A.M. and couldn’t keep my eyes open. 😳😴 There were those times like I’ve said before where that hour show became “continued” in a way with a match starting 5 minutes or so before the end! We were just left hanging until next week.

I believe I’m all done getting caught up lately but still know this. With social media these days, I know what’s going on and with always having my big Bro to let me know “important” stuff, I’m in the wrestling loop. You’ll not catch me watching one of their entire shows but if my WMVI DVD wasn’t skipping over parts, I would watch ALL of that and not just the Ultimate Challenge! That’s what I get for buying a used DVD, ugh… My old school girl self is always there or these warrior writings wouldn’t exist. She has evolved though and appreciates it all. Just think, Vince will be close to 80 when WrestleMania XXXX comes around! That’s only two years away– wow!

P.S. (Of last week…) I forgot my OWN number 8 connector this year. I got my Warrior logo tattoo on my daughter’s 8th birthday. She’ll be 16 soon...

P.P.S. So glad the crowd also acknowledged Triple H! He is an outstanding guy (:

An Infinite Legacy ðŸ™ðŸ»ðŸ’™ðŸ’ªðŸ»

***First off, congrats to all the winners at WrestleMania XXXVIII and all those newly inducted into the WWE HOF class of 2022. Just 3 words- “THANK YOU TAKER… “⚰️⚱️

Here we are again warriors with this time of year. How is it April already? Wrestlemania 38 just happened as did this blog marking 5 .5 years a few days ago. This post isn’t entirely numbers-based but I will share some that definitely connect today because that’s what I do. Warrior will be gone 8 years on the 8th (Friday.) I know with birthdays it’s called your “golden” one if that happens. At least that’s what I was told. For me, I turned 19 (so long ago now…) on the 19th in the 9th month. Who knows? I don’t share this to be sad but just an observation. 8 is an infinity number which beckons this title. Warrior’s younger daughter Mattie referenced infinity from the book: “A Life Lived Forever.” She mentions in her letter about infinity which makes me think of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story. His older daughter Indy had referenced the word legacy in her letter. An infinite legacy with Ultimate memories always.

I’ll share a 3 count of number connectors with all of you. I might’ve added this as a PS many posts back but now that the date is here, it’s time. Just when I think some milestones, dates, or numbers are done for a bit, more show up. It truly is infinite. Are you ready to follow? Here we go… The last WM Warrior was part of is 30. That of course was 8 years ago. WM VIII is turning 30 this year. Also, April 5, 1992 was WM VIII’s date as was Warrior’s induction of 2014. He will forever have two dates of April 5 as real significance to him.

I also had two special dates of April 5 as well which I’ve shared before but will again briefly. Mine don’t relate to 30 or 8 but I can always remember. 2014 was our first basketball game we attended together as a family and in 2016, two signs fell down in my house. Both were that date of April 5 so Warrior and I just have a 2 count of early April moments there. Technically, I have another April 5 that I chose. It was a book event and that has been blogged too. To summarize here, this time becomes a 3 count of 8 on the 8th, WMVIII turning 30 and April 5 being WM VIII’s date plus Warrior’s 2014 HOF induction. Warrior’s last WM weekend was 30 which was 8 years ago. 30 and 8, synchronicity wins the match yet again. Oh, and WM VIII took place in Indiana. 2 Warrior connectors. Are you all caught up? 😳3️⃣0️⃣, 8️⃣

Let’s switch to some other views on the Ultimate Warrior’s or Warrior’s infinite legacy which continues on despite numbers, dates, and always milestones. I’m so humbled and honored when people contact me regarding this blog, my book, or just to share their OWN wrestling memories about the character of U. W. Here are some of their words I received as a few maybe even weren’t initially fans of his but found him years later on many YouTube videos:

“remarkable, amazing, inspirational.”

“brilliant…deep, thoughtful. His depth of knowledge exceeds anyone on the news.”

“Such a patriot and foresight he had into America.”

“Impactful…he was an extraordinary man…It was such a massive loss.”

A few had listened to Warrior’s speeches on many topics and even shared them with friends. The “Injections of Inspiration” videos were mentioned since they contained no “BS” advice for one loyal fan. Another wanted to know more about his collection of artwork, book recommendations, and was a long time U.W. fan. He asked if I had anything additional to share and called Warrior’s writings “treasures.” This man wanted to get my book and couldn’t wait to dive into the old blog posts of Warrior’s I had sent him. I try to offer as much as I can within reason of course and very touched when they share personal stories with me.

Vince McKee who I spoke with on his “Pick Six” podcast with “Kee on Sports,” even left me a super nice review on Amazon. Yes, he might be a little biased with knowing me personally but he is himself a fellow author so understands the work. He had this to say about Warrior: “he would be very proud.” He added how the Warrior’s messages bring an “inner peace and spirit to people.” He compliments me of course but I wanted to share Warrior words today. He didn’t have to take time out of his very busy schedule to write that at all, but he did and I am grateful.

So, yes indeed- the Ultimate Warrior and Warrior both have an infinite legacy. Even if there were disagreements, differences of opinions, or other negative naysayers, he lives on and always will. I’m very fortunate to continue doing what I do here and it makes me happy knowing others find his work outside of wrestling as well. We will leave our own infinite legacy of some kind so my wish is that all of you do many things in your life which will reflect that. Don’t let one thing define you and pursue all that interests you. Warrior did, I am, and you should too.

The numbers change every year but we need to go on and do what we can to make a difference. 30 and 8 will move forward as will every other milestone that we treasure and cherish. Hard to believe all these WM’s after 8 are in their 30’s now! How is that even possible? The Ultimate Warrior will mark 35 years on TV in November as it seems I just wrote of his 30th 5 years ago. 8 on the 8th is such a WOW reflective number for me as it is for most fans too. We all grow older, change, and evolve because we have to in life. Let’s be our OWN warrior selves and keep remembering, celebrating, and honoring the life of the one and only Warrior man. You will forever keep running as I always believe in your most Ultimate spirit. Thank you Warrior for your infinite legacy.

💙~~~ Kathy 💖

P.S. April 1st also brought “The Warrior” song playing in my van that evening. ( WM VI turned 32 that day)

That 80’s Vibe! ðŸ’šðŸ’–

*** A quick note before I begin today: All the BEST of health and happiness to Triple H on his official retirement. I thank him for 30 years of “The Game” and for his tireless work to get the Ultimate Warrior in the HOF. I will always be so grateful to him.., 💙

Look at that. A rare selfie of me and I gotta admit– it wasn’t easy to do. I don’t paint Ultimate Warrior’s mask or anything similar to his logo on my face so you are in for a real treat, lol! Think I did it years ago with 💄… Anyways, it totally fits with the 80’s vibe of this story and I just had to do it. Today, it’s about some events in my life and of course Warrior’s that were possibly a little silly, embarrassing, or just different. I remember them all and fans of his will probably too. We both get that 3 count again ( in a way) and I’ll start with him. Oh, those fun years of the 1980s.

I had recently remembered WWE’s Slammy Awards which began in 1986 and the Ultimate Warrior winning posthumously for best return in 2014. I bet many of you longtime fans remember all those music videos the Superstars of yesteryear made back in the mid-80s? “If You Only Knew” was a musical number closing out the 1987 Slammys with the entire roster on stage. U.W. is in the back row and it’s very farcical but we loved it all. I laughed so hard when finding this the other day, my side actually hurt! That brings us to one of these moments I’m referencing today. Koko B. Ware performed “Piledriver” (I know that album!) for Song of the Year. Ultimate Warrior among some others were dressed as construction workers. One article said how “Jim Hellwig” probably felt uncomfortable but really, I don’t know? Would he think it to be foolish or did he have a good time anyway? It’s so goofy, you don’t want to watch and yet we do.

I saw all of their musical “talents” from “Land of 1000 Dances,” “Tutti Frutti,” and even Vince’s performance of his BIG hit: “Stand Back!” Always have to give such props to Vince for his creativity and for pushing that crazy envelope into mainstream culture. WWF wanted to be like MTV. Remember when they just showed music videos? Let’s move ahead a few years to 1990 when Warrior was heavyweight champ. I know many have brought up that goofy video of Phil Collins along with Warrior dancing and performing in a ring to Phil’s popular song: “Two Hearts.” Yet another moment where I wonder what Warrior’s thoughts were. It’s all business but some things I think about. My brother reminded me of the WWF using Phil’s song: “Easy Lover” for their first WrestleMania theme. Really? Why THAT song? Why both? Kind of weird, don’t ya think? Maybe Phil was a fan so they got him again years later as part of a “movie” where he was following some TV execs around. This was technically 1990 but close enough to the 80’s and what a crazy vibe it was. Those songs though. Yeah, they make me think of wrestling, lol!🤣

Now, let’s move on to some of MY 80’s moments that were funny, slightly awkward, and yet so memorable in many ways. We’ll begin with 4th grade. Yes, that grade again but there was something else. My class was performing: “Peter and the Wolf” for parents to come watch. I can’t recall if everyone got a part but I was the little red bird. All I had to do was chirp and tweet on top of a bench but had no red to wear. My school gym shorts would work with white tights. Yeah, that’s a fashion statement. It was the early 80’s –gimme a break and I was 9 I think. My mom took a photo, oh boy. I had my arms outstretched with an ugly short haircut and chirping away. All that silly stuff for school but it always boosted my confidence on performing.

This next one is my favorite from 8th grade. I always thought it was 7th but am thinking with graduation and all, it was 8th. As part of our end-of-the-year grade, we had to make a music video. Nothing like those ol’ WWF Superstars but this was a big deal. Some kids videotaped us or gave a report but I was in a group of girls. Our song was: “Ghostbusters.” I may have mentioned this before but it’s worth a repeat. I walked out 1st just like during H. S. Graduation only this time, different music of course. We rocked it and without being biased, were the best! Our group went first so we could just relax and watch all the others.

I was a “ghostbuster” with one of my hats from home (either Chuck E. Cheese or Niagara Falls?) while holding a toy gun. Us 3 girls had to say: ” Bustin’ makes me feel good!” I feel so different about that now as good spirits, not ghosts are welcome by me (: We had it all planned out as hard work paid off. Warrior would agree. With all the practices after school and in backyards, we had a hit. There were us “busters,” old ladies with umbrellas, and even our very own ghost friend wearing her glasses over a sheet! So much fun, yet ridiculous all at once. I can still remember some of the other kids videos. A boy group did: “One Night in Bangkok” which makes me think of Mike Tyson now from “The Hangover” movie. Great.., now, all those songs are in my head!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🎧

The last experience was my junior year of choir in high school. Choir again, I know! We had a new Director but she wanted to make all these changes and switched the rules up some. Sounds like someone else, I wonder who? This new teacher began to introduce dancing. What? I didn’t sign up for this! For one concert, we danced and guess what? It was a big success and the following year she started a show choir that performed along with many other schools. Despite all that, I hated it. Every minute of it.

We even did a song with our Dads (I didn’t ask mine but my partner did) called: “Big Spender.” Is she kidding? How is THAT appropriate? Look up the lyrics… The crowd loved it though as we had matching dresses and danced our hearts out on that stage. All those dance steps, practices, and frustrations which led to something great. I thought it strange and felt so nervous since this was choir, not a dance competition. That 80’s vibe strikes again, always with good results. I did remember a few other songs we performed that actually were pretty good. One was: “And all that Jazz” from the musical Chicago.

So, there you have it. Warrior’s 3 count of: “If You Only Knew,” being a construction worker for “Piledriver,” and dancing with Phil Collins in: “Two Hearts.” Again, with songs that don’t match despite their popularity. OK, I know his is really a 2 count since the first ones were both during the Slammy Awards but I’m counting them separate! My 3 count is: “Peter and the Wolf,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Big Spender.” We both did a music video too. At least he got paid for his goofy stuff. What a (mostly) 80’s vibe that time was which brought some silliness, awkwardness, and always so much fun anyways. In spite of everything, I had many laughs. I hope Warrior did too.

P.S. You probably won’t see me with face paint again but you other warriors can paint away! I’ll dance to “Ghostbusters” anytime though! Just not “Big Spender…”

Out of this World ðŸª

To all you space and science freaks, this one’s for you. Some of today’s content may not suit everyone but really, isn’t that most of the time? 😉Well, quite possibly not as you loyal readers keep coming back. Always many Ultimate thanks. I’m sure you’ve heard the expression: “you’re acting like you’re from another planet!” Maybe you haven’t but perhaps after a discussion, you heard something similar if someone disagrees. I bet lots of folks thought that of Warrior too with certain things he said or did over the years. ***FYI here– it seems lately that a few ideas I would have for posts in some way get brought up by the U.W. fb group. These would be ideas I thought of a while back and then up pops a post on there, too funny!

People thought he was crazy for writing those comic books among other ideas. That pic you see was from a signing after he took on that project in 1996 at the Golden Apple Comic Book Store. Was he out of this world for doing that? The stories were “interesting” to say the least but I never read them all as some of you may have. Long before that time, he often referenced some of the planets and such during many of those maniacal U.W. promos which became so iconic. His left wrist sported the planet Saturn which was part of a Terminator/ Barbarian theme. I finally found out more info on that. You can find those pics on your own but obviously it was of some interest to him. Some say Warrior was very intelligent about many things, some say otherwise but nobody pursues interests in a way outside of a career unless you are passionate about it. We pursue career interests too but I’m talking about extra hobbies you connect with.

Take me for example. You knew this was coming. These kinds of topics are usually reserved for my other blog over at Spirit and Belief, but it relates today. My Dad worked at NASA for 50 years as a chemical engineer. No, I’m not getting all “geeked” out here but space exploration and all it entails was around my life for many years. In 4th grade, we always had to do science fair projects on the planets. My brother did a shoebox diorama and the following year was my turn. Mine was on posterboard with glittered planets. It was so beautiful and I loved it! Dad would always help us down in the basement on top of our pool table. That way, it was much easier to clean up. Always was I fascinated by all the details of each one plus the sun, moon, and stars. ☀️🌙✨ Not enough to want a trip into space but it piqued my curiosity. No idea on my sisters projects. Guess I forgot theirs. I also had to do a report on a famous person in 4th grade. My choice was Marie Curie. She was a scientist! 👩🏻‍🔬🦠 🧪 Even in 6th grade, one of my “special interest” talks was on the Space Shuttle. It wasn’t just because of all the stuff Dad could bring home either. We always watched the Space Shuttle missions go up. Very sad how they had to be discontinued. ☹️ 🚀

I remember a few fun units in Science as a kid that usually made me pay closer attention. One was on astronomy (how did you know?) while the other was geology. As my son’s teacher had said : “it isn’t all about rocks!” I love learning all their names and especially geodes. Let’s move on a little with all those rocks of geology because well, that’s my memory. As a child, I recall coloring rocks with crayons. Has anyone ever done this? Of course they’d have to be white or with very little color. My poor crayons would get so dull with wax everywhere but the rocks came out great! Maybe that little girl knew all along as an adult, she’d love crystals and their healing power. Out of this world? Maybe, but it’s a compliment for me!

I’m not too sure if Warrior ever read up on the possibility of life on other dimensions or if people here on Earth are from another world. Don’t worry, I’m not getting all “Hollyweird” with scary movie drama as it mostly tends to be negative. I always enjoyed the “Men in Black” series despite possibly freaking out thinking your neighbor could be an alien! 👽 🛸 Let’s make them nice, shall we? After all, they probably come from a far advanced civilization than life here on Earth and need our “school” again to learn lessons. OK, my Dad was also a “sci-fi”nerd but I am more open minded these days. If you aren’t, no biggie. I just think anything is possible and don’t live in fear.

I know what you fans are probably thinking now. I can read your mind! No, I can’t really but your thoughts could be this: She thinks Warrior was too advanced on many topics and must’ve really been out of this world or from another planet. I’m NOT saying that at all but honestly, we really don’t know anyone’s true existence. My Energy Healer has told me how I travel to many places besides Earth at night during my dream state. I believe this as sometimes after waking in a daze, it feels like I never really slept! This is more common than you may think. Us spiritual folks just do different things and have different gifts. It’s those things we don’t have to truly question to know they are true for us.

Are you still with me or have I scared you all away? I can go on and on about this but let’s just say, I like to learn. If it’s something relevant to me or something I’ve had an experience with, it gets researched. Do I believe we’ve been here before? Yep, I do. Did I always believe this? Nope, but after learning more about my journey- it’s there now. I’m not asking any of you to agree but just be open to new ways of looking at your life and all the possibilities that it may include. Warrior was always open to learning and he had mentioned much about past lives, evolution, and other similar topics. He may not have talked or written about exactly my post today but I believe he was interested in our existence and beginnings. Are you a believer? Maybe I am out of this world but I am here now on Earth just like you. However we got here, it’s our duty to be in this life the best we can. Use it well “earthlings!”! 🌍

P.S. I hope I didn’t get you thinking your neighbor could be an alien! “The truth is out there!” ( X-Files history!)

P.P.S. Every time I carry a few crystals in my pocket (which is pretty often), my kids ask why I’m carrying rocks! Lol! 💎

My Warrior Week â£ï¸

Notice anything different? How can you really tell when I haven’t written yet! Well, maybe you’ve figured it out with that beautiful word of warrior above. Another first here. These posts have either had a photo of Warrior, Ultimate Warrior, other references, or that rare selfie. This time, it’s something entirely new. I do have more pics of Warrior himself coming up of course but my cousin sent that image to me and had to use it today. I have referenced her before in the post titled: “My OWN Wrestling Stories” written 3/4/20. She has two boys who did the “real” wrestling all through high school and we are Spiritual Sistas. After buying my book a few years back, we reconnected in a new way and have shared many experiences of our own in regards to spiritual topics. You can read that post to familiarize yourself with her story but I’m sharing a warrior week with all of you today.

She meditates daily just like me and sometimes we go deeper with music or healing frequencies. I won’t get all detailed but different levels of sound heal in many ways and our brain waves respond. So, when she was almost finished, this popped up on her phone:

WARRIOR TITLE

FULL RELIEF. ***What does that mean? She has native blood so the message might’ve been for her but she thought of me. I can’t possibly guess but she is a strong warrior woman in her own right. She hadn’t typed or pressed anything, wow. Perhaps she’s finding relief from some of her situations but so happy it got sent my way.

It gets more involved with this warrior week of mine. Her one son and daughter-in-law took his two boys to the “Arnold Classic” in Columbus, OH a few weekends ago. I was not familiar with this at all but it’s been around for years. Of course it’s after Arnold Schwarzenegger and is part of the IFBB or (International Federation of Bodybuilding) all about nutrition, fitness, competitions, apparel, booths, and so much more. They sent her a pic of one of the boys punching a machine. Behind him on a sign it read: “Everyone is a Warrior. Everyone has a fight.” Again, she thinks to include me with these warrior words and I love it. The boys had a blast! A few of her other grandsons are still wrestlers and she got a pic from another daughter-in-law. Her grandson placed 2nd but his opponent’s singlet read “Savage.” She sent me that too, “OH YEAH!”

Last is about her only granddaughter by her daughter. She is homeschooled along with her brother and now they are starting archery. My cousin or “Nani” as she is affectionately called by the kids, decided to send this girl her first child youth bow. How nice! She buys one and snaps a pic to send me. The brand name is: “WARRIOR.” How about that? I just kept laughing and smiling all the while at these wonderful warrior happenings. She takes time out of her day across the country to send me warrior inspired messages. We share a lot of laughs but she has truly been a huge support to me as I have been for her.

I knew she’d listen and enjoy the podcast I did with “Kee on Sports.” Here are some of her words:

” You are blessed with the gift to speak and obviously write… this definitely is your forte and such a beautiful way to share and help others. Keep up the hard work and just let it pour from your spirit.” She went on to say how proud she is of me and to reach for the stars! I’m not sharing to boast at all but just to inspire others to continue on in what you truly want to do while helping along the way. I wasn’t expecting such incredible words from her but it felt so good always knowing she’s in my corner. She told me it was my warrior spiritual day and I always believe.

Those warrior signs kept coming as I had gotten a few more emails earlier that week asking about “Warrior’s Web.” I sent them some info and they were grateful to connect. One even wants to buy my book (: You never know the influence or impact you may have on another as I said before. I just do what I love and the rest follows. That’s how we all need to be in every facet of our life. Some days, we don’t really try that hard when the right person, place, or thing just finds us. Keeping being YOU warriors, not anybody else and celebrate all your victories.

That was quite a week and really not just a Warrior day for me but so uplifting and fun. We have enough negativity out there in this world so go and be the positive. We need more of that warriors! Doesn’t it feel good to get compliments from another? Sure, it does but don’t forget to send words of praise in the opposite direction. You all might not have a warrior week or day like mine but be a warrior every day by tapping into your own spirit. Look for those signs that will guide you in the right direction. It just might be a “random” text, photo, or email. There are no coincidences, always believe that...

P.S. I also found several Bluejay feathers on a walk during Warrior week too!

***P.P.S. My extreme condolences go out to the family of Scott Hall, a.k.a.“Razor Ramon.” I thought about posting this first but didn’t want to take away from the tone of the blog this week. His passing hit me really HARD as I had mentioned him in a post several years back. I know Dana and the girls met him backstage after Warrior’s passing during the following year’s WrestleMania weekend and he shared memories of their Dad with them. He had told the girls how they have lots of “uncles” and “aunties” watching out for them now. Scott was inducted along with Warrior as part of the WWE HOF class of 2014. So, it was a little personal for me this time more than with some of the others. I did see a pic of Warrior and Scott shaking hands during 2014’s HOF backstage ceremony. I cried a lot but I do know that he is at peace . So long for now “Mr. Bad Guy.”

💙🙏🏻😓 Thank you Scott for showing us how you truly were a GOOD guy…

The NEW Champ ðŸ†ðŸ’ªðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»

No, that photo above was NOT when the Ultimate Warrior became the new champ as I’m sure most may know! I just wanted a pic of him holding up a belt so used this one. Of course, my story today connects to Warrior winning a belt (ya know the Heavyweight one) and ME winning one- just in a different way.

*** I’m gonna take a quick break here and make a CORRECTION… When I posted late last week about my appearance with Kee on Sports “Pick Six” podcast, I had the incorrect link. So sorry! Here it is correctly:

https://youtu.be/-KkFp2dOvso

* It is 40:21 in length and I hope you fans enjoy! Let me know your feedback…

Now, back to today’s post about The New Champ. My brother actually inspired me to write and share this story so get ready to laugh along with me(: I don’t know about you but we (meaning my siblings and I) loved going to this amusement park not too far away from us growing up called Cedar Point. It’s in Sandusky, Ohio and has become one of the greatest roller coaster parks in the world. They do still have smaller rides though. The one I’m referring to today is this horse race called “Cedar Downs.” Every year we’d race and even last summer we still did. That was brought about because of my kids Band attending their 150th anniversary but let’s go back many years.

This ride remains popular even now so I hope it sticks around. We went for so many years as part of Cedar Point Day at school and that tradition continued on a long while. I wonder if they still do that? So, my brother and I started competing on Cedar Downs every summer. When we were older and wrestling was part of our lives, he’d stretch his hands across his waist to simulate getting or wearing a belt- a wrestling belt that is. He’d win every SINGLE time. No joke, every time. For some reason, whatever horse I chose or talked to lost and I’d never win that imaginary Cedar Downs belt I wanted so badly. ☹️

I would think during my teen years of course (mostly) how the Ultimate Warrior deserved that heavy weight belt worn by Hulk Hogan. How would he ever get it without HH losing to a bad guy? Well, if you don’t know, look all that up on your own to find out. I cannot tell you how many times that horse race didn’t go in my favor. Can any of you relate to rides like this? He would joke all the time and I would think to myself: ” one of these days, I will finally win…”

That day came last summer in August of 2021. I was so happy he was able to be there although he missed the kids march because of traffic. Maybe there will be another opportunity as I got a text from him over a week ago. He informed me how Cedar Point was building a new restaurant next to Cedar Downs called “Cedar Dogs.” No idea on how it’s going to work but I’m assuming hotdogs would be on the menu? They had taken down the old Cadillac cars but kept up the bridge. I love how he gives me updates on the park but when he mentioned possibly coming out of retirement for a “rematch”, my intuition kicked in. Immediately, this post came to be as I thanked him for the inspiration. He was glad to help so I’m sure he’ll be reading!

I had always teased him with this which I’ve said before: “the belt means nothing, I don’t need the belt.” Those words were spoken by Warrior on “The Ultimate Collection” DVD and I meant it. Secretly though, I ALWAYS wanted and needed to beat him just to win once, one time. Again, a WMVI memory and I said back some thing about if he wins, he can’t cheat in order to do it. That referenced Hogan and Warrior in their disastrous WCW “Halloween Havoc” match in which they had a rematch of sorts 18 years later. I won’t get paid money of course but I’d like the title a little longer than Warrior had back in 1990.

We did have such a great time along with my husband riding on some rides, going down memory lane of rides past, and just hanging out together at one of our favorite places to go. Yes, it’s huge and a lot to do in one day but I was never that coaster freak and never will be so no long lines for me!

I couldn’t believe our elusive “Cedar Downs” belt was finally mine as I became the NEWWW champ! Just picture Howard Finkel announcing me as the winner! Maybe I had picked the right horse this time or even perhaps Warrior’s spiritual energy came my way to help this girl out? I’m sure he was laughing and watching as I will always believe. I deserved that win after all those years and now being married with kids, my inner child could celebrate in a way she never could before. That one was for her as it was my turn to simulate a belt around my waist for a change.

I hope all of you that are amusement park goers have some great stories too. It’s all good fun but I gotta say, it felt ultimate just like Warrior felt getting his belts after a time. Of course not the exact same, ha ha but it’s always the feelings that matter despite the experience. Be the NEW champ however that looks to you. Keep trying, you’ll get there and then it’ll finally be your turn to win what you’ve waited on. It’s all worth it- even a horse race. 🐎🏇🥇🎪🏟🎢

P.S. Should I defend my title? Hmmm. 🤔I’ll have to think about it. Oh, and every time I hear this ONE song, I always feel the need to BELT it out! I don’t remember hearing this one that often back in the day but it’s part of my workouts now and is on my playlist. Ever since I first heard it, I knew… There are many more but this one stands out to me. It’s a big 80s rock ballad. I simulate wearing a belt too! 🎤

Backyard BBQ Bliss ðŸ”¥ðŸŒðŸŒ³

As I was thinking of a story to share this week, nothing came to mind. Oh my, what to write? 🤔✍🏻While getting ready one morning last week, I glanced at our Christmas card that I keep on my dresser all year. Yes, I do that and love it! I decided last summer how we needed a new family photo which eventually became part of last year’s Holiday card. The previous one taken was almost 8 years ago and of course I remember that time frame quite well as you fans will too. Looking at that family photo made me think of a story that happened last Labor Day early September here in the U.S. Interestingly enough, it involves my backyard as I blogged a week ago about a dream involving another backyard… Oh, I DID just buy some green grapes but anyways… 😉🤭

The Holiday was getting nearer and sometimes we host a family BBQ, sometimes not. This time, we just had my mom over for hotdogs, coleslaw, chips, cookies, and some fun outdoor games. We had a bonfire going also which always is a staple in the summer. Despite my medical procedures of a few months prior, all had been settled but in someways, I was still struggling. I’m going to get a little spiritual here so if it isn’t your thing, that’s all right. I promise it isn’t too “woo-woo” for anyone not open to it all. My pain seem to linger although on the opposite side this time. For those unaware, I had an ulcer plus some other gut issues that needed addressed. Now, I have more female areas affected down there but no worries– I am fine. Guess it’s just all part of a “spiritual cleanse” for me in a way. There’s been A LOT these couple years and now past month but like a warrior, I move forward and take it all in on my journey.

Getting back to the BBQ plans, we had a fun time as I just dealt with my inner pain. Some things are triggers for me as I’m sure you all have as well. Food still wasn’t always working in my favor and my mom noticed. She asked if I was feeling well and for the most part I was. My kids knew I wasn’t 100% but I didn’t want them to worry as I really didn’t feel a medical doctor was necessary. I had been working with the Energy Healer and doing a lot more practices on my own at home. “This too shall come to pass.” Words of Wisdom spoken by Warrior and I needed to believe them. My mom just said: “You and your weird stuff!” Yeah, it’s weird stuff for my mom who can’t connect to spirituality the way I do. That’s OK though, it isn’t for her to learn. Sure, I wish she could’ve possibly understood more but have accepted that’s how she is and I don’t take it personally anymore. At least I try not to. ❤️‍🩹

Some of my internal “pains” were related to energy and negative emotions. We’re all energy of course but with my process which is similar to others spiritually, we need to heal the gut. That is where we store emotions and sometimes old wounds of the past resurface which takes time to heal. This may not affect everyone and can be quite scary, but things are moving in the right direction. I just need patience, trust, and of course to always believe.

I was distracted plenty by our lawn games of giant Jenga and corn hole so had to put my discomfort aside for the day. You might be thinking how bliss fits into this post and of course Warrior. Follow along and you’ll read in just a few minutes. My husband and I rotated playing the games while tending to the fire. My mom and I were on a team playing the kids in cornhole. We scored on a few rounds and went ahead. I was feeling a little better but this was my new “normal” back then. I wanted and needed to put the bad feelings in the back of my head to enjoy this beautiful day outside with my family. The beanbag came my way and landed right by my left foot. Our apple tree provided some shade but as I glanced down towards the ground, there was a big ol’ Bluejay feather just waiting for me. 💙

I felt like time stopped just a minute, just for me. The game was almost over and when it was, I immediately picked up that feather as tears formed. No one noticed it going into my pocket as I went inside to wash my hands. I needed a few moments to myself as those Bluejay feathers are one of my signs from Warrior. Even though I had been struggling, this backyard BBQ brought me the bliss I needed to know all will be well and it is. I hadn’t asked the Universe or Warrior for a sign that day and yet there it was, truly Ultimate in front of me.

Earlier that summer, another Bluejay feather was standing straight up in the grass near the back of our shed. I had gone out with my yoga mat as part of a daily routine and that spot was where the top of my mat sits. Had to do some Warrior yoga moves then for sure! The sun had been shining right at that moment as I kept the feather with me while knowing he was there. I don’t keep every feather anymore but those blue jay ones, you betcha! What I love are the markings. They are so different unlike let’s say Cardinals. The color shade of red may vary but besides that, pretty much the same. Blue Jays have variety kind of like someone else I know who delivered that day as well. He delivers every day in one way or another but when I was feeling down, he picked me up. Thank you Warrior for your Blue Jay bliss as every single one matters to me. Notice those little things because the Universe wants you too- with or without a backyard BBQ. ☀️🧘‍♀️☮️

P.S. I could’ve called this post “BlueJay Bliss” but there’s been several posts about those feathers. There are many cardinal stories in my book too! PLUS, I wanted to keep everyone guessing!!! Oh, mom and I did beat the kids in cornhole!

*** I’m giving a little preview again as we need the funny so next week, prepare to laugh! 😂
