Two Warrior Ways

I had to use warrior in a title one more time and not just as a 3️⃣ count lately! You will know as these stories play out today. First off though~~~ happy May readers! Month 5, my goodness. Next week, I will be out of town because my family is traveling to the Mohican River in Loudonville, Ohio for a few days. I haven’t been there in years and have never taken the kids. We can’t go in the summer because of their schedules so decided on Mother’s Day for a quick getaway. Possibly more to come on that in a few weeks! This takes the place of my annual week off besides over Christmas so get caught up on your reading if you haven’t yet already… Secondly, I’m wishing all you Mom’s out there a Happy early Mother’s Day in whatever way you do your mothering. I hope you are pampered and spoiled because we deserve it! 🫵🏻🙋🏻‍♀️💐💖

I’ll just mention the photo today quickly, although it has no real reference with the stories. I saw this of Warrior on the set of his movie 🎥 “Firepower” as “The Swordsman.” Every pic I had seen in my magazine was black and white so I took that color one from media. Not sure if he legally changed his name then when the movie was released as “James Hellwig” is introduced in the opening credits. He is Warrior for my post today but well…keep reading.

The first warrior way is this. I was thinking of signing up for another yoga class soon so then remembered my old stomping grounds in that area close to where I grew up. The owner has 2 studios but I like this one better. I drive two different ways as one route I take there and another I take home. The one I take home is part of the story. Quite possibly, I have brought this up when seeing a rainbow 🌈 on my way back once but there are more details.

Every time I leave the studio, I pass the local high school on purpose, EVERY single time. The reason? Well, their football team’s name? —- you can guess here is – the “Warriors.” To think I almost grew up there but we would not have gone to the public schools for sure. I like to pass the stadium which ironically is called “ James Daly Stadium” with a big “ Warrior” sign attached. James and Warrior- how about that? I did recall James being part of the name but looked it up to be certain. That school was never a rival with my kids as they aren’t in the same division. Can you imagine those games? The Bulldogs vs. the Warriors. Wait, the British Bulldogs ? Ha ha, but isn’t it great still? I also love that route back home for all my library memories., Yes, the history term paper of 35 years ago now but then as time went on, looking for books as a preschool teacher.

Here’s the second warrior way. When my daughter transferred to the local community college, I took her a few times to register, look around, and walk the campus. After that, she was on her own with friends and loves it out there now. Hard to believe her 2nd semester and then also 1st year of college is in the books. Pun intended… Last May, we were prepping for her graduation. 🥹👩🏻‍🎓 ***Back to the story now. When driving there and getting pretty close, we slowed down by a light. I looked to the left and saw this cute playground area with lots to do. Its name—- “ James Day Park.” OK, I will always remember the way to go now! I could also see an obstacle course with the word “warrior” written nearby. James and Warrior once again as I smiled inside.🫢🥰 Before writing this today, I wanted to make sure I got it all right and then had ANOTHER laugh. It seems they modeled this park after the “ American Ninja Warrior” show which I wrote about years ago and also is in my book: “ Spirit and Belief.” It gets better, just read. They also have an “Unstable” bridge, which is its actual name as part of this obstacle course!!! I would’ve had no idea. Maybe I’ll go and check out that park more someday.

James has a Warrior football stadium and a park with a ninja course. One is Daly and one is Day, what are the odds of the last names being similar? 2️⃣ ways about 1/2 hour from each other but both involving a physical activity. The *REAL* James (a.k.a.- Warrior) would love both. For those unaware, “ Unstable” was the Ultimate Warrior’s WWF theme music and reading that about the bridge in the description was another connecting moment for the story. Oh, my, my~~ what fun to see, read, and know as the college way with my girl~~~ of course is new to me.

I will share a 3rd warrior way even though those 2 above are the main event today. I planned on this as a PS, but it deserves a little more explanation. Every month, I listen to one of my favorite spiritual people on her YouTube channel give an astrology forecast. I know this isn’t for everyone, but keep with me. She draws several cards from an Oracle deck and I follow my few signs but again, it isn’t my entire being. I just take the guidance and see if it fits in my life with what’s going on energetically. I am affected as I’ve stated before, and let me tell you~~~some points are spot on! She was mentioning a certain zodiac sign and I had to pause the video to write it down. Her statement was this: “ a spiritual warrior understands flow and welcomes it in.” OMG! First, yes~ the warrior word or (way right?) once again but she relates the word flow which I also bring up quite often for me and the word welcome, which was my post last week!

It isn’t about fighting a physical battle as a warrior (which I knew already,) but she connected it to within yourself and just going with events as they come without forcing things to happen. Take some action and then let it go. That is SUPER hard for most of us. I totally got her point as some may not * BUT* her using those 3️⃣ words of warrior, flow, and welcome had me hit that pause button. Another warrior way as it will get added to this list… We all have our own paths to take, literally and metaphorically but just remember~~~ yours is yours alone and we’ll all meet together. My warrior way is mine, but you will have one too. You don’t need a park or stadium either. Oh, James (a.k.a. Ultimate Warrior)~~~ thank YOU for showing us all YOUR Warrior way as you will always be that for me… 💙

What’s your Calling Card?

❤️💛👍🫵🏻. No, I don’t mean your business card or anything like that although it could be. What I mean is your true nature like the essence of who you are warriors. It doesn’t have to be that deep of a question but with me, it tends to go there. I have combined topics into a tag team of sorts today, so I’ll start with the calling part~~~literally.

*** the latest was all about “voices of the 80s” like commentators, announcers, etc. so I called in again. I shared some funny moments and am about 12 minutes or so in. The guys gave me a name: ” the Ultimate Caller!” Most regular callers have a moniker so this time, I received one. What an honor as they KNOW I’m a fan of Warrior’s . One host even remarked how I seem to know more than some of the other callers. I’m not sure I deserve that compliment but I’ll take it. 😌 I was overwhelmed by his words, and yet NEVER once feel intimidated by that male dominated podcast. I leave my calling card for sure. That is, a lasting female impression which matters.Warrior left his calling card too always. Seriously, fans of the old WWF days- just scroll through some of their topics. I bet you’ll find one (if not many) of interest.

Another moment of humility came recently from a Facebook post on my birthday written by my brother. Oh goodness, I thought I was the writer. Here’s a few tidbits he expressed:

*** ” you reign supreme…, get a little more ZEN…, you give as it is…”

AND he ends with #alwaysbelieve which has been tradition for years now. Never does he make me NOT cry. 🥹 I should own those statements and yet somehow don’t feel entirely worthy of receiving them. We are close but I wasn’t expecting such praise. He left his calling card with those words. It invokes pure emotion, thought, and true concern. I do seek the ZEN… ☮️ See, he knows me.

I also had to use that pic of The Ultimate Maniacs below. Their formation debuted (like I had said) on my 20th all those years ago so Randy as well left his calling card. Most everyone will know his lasting impressions on the business, and they are felt still even now. 

Let’s move onto the actual cards part for this 3 count today. OK, I have mentioned Oracle cards in the past but before any of you give that proverbial eye roll 🙄 if not interested, stick with me on it. It DOES connect in a few ways even when I thought at first it didn’t. Someone I follow on social media had a few images of this beautiful card deck with her own readings on them. She is pretty well-known and not a professional in this area, but totally could be. She may be looking for some extra work here soon and would be great at this. Well, I was mesmerized by the artwork and concept. Any “AVATAR” fans out there? The deck totally reminds me of those peoples of ancient civilizations long ago. Some had thought Warrior was of another planet so perhaps I am too, who knows? 🪐🤔 That’s been said before…. The messages are so resonating and I got it as a birthday gift from my husband. I’m excited to dive or (SPLASH!) into it soon as its feminine energy is calling me. One thing I noticed is the first printing date. It was re-printed a few years ago but the original date was April 8, 2020. I did NOT know this until watching a flip-thru on YouTube. Warrior fans will recognize that date (not the year though.) That would not influence my decision but what are the odds? It’s all about the Lumerians of a simpler time. Myth or reality? 🤷🏻‍♀️I don’t know but am drawn to it so another calling card(s) for sure.

What are some calling cards of yours? It is a term one can reference when connecting to loved ones in spirit as well. When I first started this journey, you may remember my Bluejay feather stories which continue today. Lots of other goodies too but that was a main one. Do any of you receive those kinds of messages from your team in spirit? It’s OK if you don’t or aren’t interested. It can be intimidating absolutely but it is a way of communicating if you allow yourself to always believe. Just like those oracle cards, ALL of us are oracles. You don’t have to follow any of that to know this. An oracle is a way to communicate in any way that suits us. My writing is an oracle, speaking is, listening to podcasts are, making YouTube videos are, singing is, dancing is, creating art is, and anything else you can think of to relate with others. All of us make up oracles getting our calling cards out into the world. One can disagree on its meaning but I believe all words can be interpreted in other types of formats.

You might not follow or even do any of the above professionally but we do interact with people daily and however you wish is the Oracle you present. Sure, it’s mostly used as a spiritual term but truly doesn’t have to be in that way at all. It also can mean someone who knows much about a subject and gives good advice. Yes, that fits too and for any of you knowledgeable on many topics, you can be that oracle for another. Use your means or calling card to get your voice out there so it will be remembered. Warrior did. Randy did. The 80s wrestling podcast guys are. I am and so can you. So are the many true people sharing their gifts in such a unique way like my social media lady I know in other ways. ☺️

Be that Oracle with your own calling card even if it’s for a nice birthday tribute to a family member like my big bro or other gifts received. 🎁 Once you know the signs, relate to them, and trust they are right for you, it falls into place. Your passions push you to follow a possible oracle which in turn, gives you a calling card. Then, you’ll have yours to pass along to another who also believes. I love my calling cards which lead me to my own oracle of destination. 🥰🩷🪷

My Energetic Downloads🪐

Hey there, warriors! How is everyone doing during this last week of July? I hope you are all well and as always, thank you for finding this blog, reading, liking, following, or engaging in any way as it truly means so much to me. ☺️

Before jumping off the ropes for today’s topic, I’ll share why I chose that photo you see of the Ultimate Warrior below. One of his first big-name opponents was the Mighty Hercules whom I referenced before but not in a long time and that was all about mythology. While trying to choose a promo pic, it was this one or another but this one’s date was 6/5/88 while the other was 6/25/88. Both dates I have written about as the 25th was Warrior’s last match in Spain of ’08 plus the wedding anniversary dates of some in my family. From ’88-’08~ 20 years for Warrior on that one. I decided on the 5th and here’s why… * If any of you recall, I shared a P. S. several weeks back that included a dream I had on June 5 of this year. That date is one of my Grandma’s birthdays and she happened to be my godmother as well. She however, was not in the dream but my Grandpa and Dad were. I had to get in the house as the Ultimate Warrior was planning to host SNL that night, huh? I still cannot imagine… 🤭😳 Very interesting how it was her b-day but she was not present. So, I used that photo because of a more personal connection to me and I pushed aside the 6/25 promo. Oh, the 6/5 title is “Normal People” and the 6/25 title is “I won’t let you down.” Yeah, those fit. Now, onto changing the gear bag for the next match.

I’ll preface the more “serious” subject by just bringing a little funny your way. It amused me (some of it) so I hope it does for you too. A few weeks ago, I was walking my dog in one of our favorite areas and we had just headed out. Right before me on the sidewalk was a HUGE hawk 🪶 . I haven’t seen one in such a long while as I just marveled at its beauty. Maybe you don’t but this was a great find and I held onto it the entire time. I’m not a pocket person on these walks as things fall out, blow away, and all that so my hands need to be ready. Picture it: (a.k.a. Sophia from “The Golden Girls”!) me holding the dog leash, my keys, wallet, phone, and now a big hawk feather. Don’t get me started when it’s winter and I am wearing gloves! 😜🧤 It works until the dog poops. I’m always a sight to behold for sure. I step on the leash and put all my stuff down. A few times I walked away without an item! I am more careful nowadays. Of course, with my husband he hands me the leash which is so convenient but very different alone, ha ha. All was going well until almost at the end of our walk.

It was then how I saw another hawk feather, only smaller. As much as I LOVED finding 2, oh man~ how could I carry all this? That day was also when I saw my Energy Healer so how beautiful receiving two hawk feathers which is my spirit animal. At least I have had moments to know this. That began my idea for this energetics downloads topic today. Yes, I always have many but lately, it’s been more to think through. Oh, I did get a 3 count. A Bluejay feather was sticking straight up in the grass like they have before shortly after receiving the hawk ones. 🥰

Those of us with heightened sensitivities need to be extra careful and you may not be one as I am. It’s little things but sometimes we need some extra guidance bringing these to the surface. I can tell when I’m sluggish, depleted, or just a little more aware to what’s going on. It can be a full moon but lots of other cosmic stuff too. Planets in retrograde, yes. Did I used to? Nope or at least I would have no idea. Little did I know how all these electronic upgrades affect me internally. I had a kit recommended to me that I’m still debating upon but guess my systems go a little “bonkers” sometimes. We all have cell phones that are 5G, high speed internet, microwaves, and many other things. The kit will benefit with the EMF’s always everywhere too. It was even told to me how I need to put my phone on speaker when talking as too much “static” gets in my system energetically which is causing much interference. That’s OK, I’m not much of a phone talking kind of girl anyways but this is news to me. I am reminded of Linda McMahon’s HOF induction of Warrior. She mentioned putting him on speaker a few times back in the day… 😉 It does help to explain some oddities so I will follow these suggestions to help myself. This kit will also get me more grounded after dreaming as like I’ve said other times, I wake up exhausted from all that “traveling.” 🥱😴

More spiritual downloads there all the time as our planet🌎 is constantly flooded with new technology, systems, and info, so for empaths it can be super hard processing. Everything is extremely fast paced so bodies have a difficult time managing. At least I have more answers now and can move forward knowing while still deciding. A part of me knows I am sensitive and have accepted much but then the other part freaks out thinking “I am this BAD to need so much extra help?” What’s a girl to do but just continue being the warrior I am with celestial guidance at my side.

Recently, I came across this author who was featured on a spiritual podcast so I decided going to the library to find one of her books was a must. This one is all about our Astro signs and the planets. You may not care about this energetics download, but it truly makes sense to me. It has been quite the fascinating exercise finding out more about my natal chart and you can too. I’ll link a website and her book at the end for any interested. The traits are amazing and if you pursue a little of astrology, you might find some answers too. I have talked about my Virgo and Warrior’s Gemini before but there’s so much more. You can even compare others charts like close people in your life to see similarities. We are all connected and it is for a divine purpose. You can research on your own but it’s been helpful to me ever since my daughter was in 1st grade. Only until a few years back did I start exploring it again. Energetics downloads? Absolutely. However you find or notice yours, just know there are answers if you truly always believe. Feathers, dreams, healing work, books, and all of those are downloads for me. I can’t forget my music ever! Love that too. 😊

Virgo and Gemini, I Get It

As you can see warriors, this post is about these crazy birth signs of ours so am referencing those gentlemen in the photo. Vince McMahon was always off-limits for me as I am not examining his relationship with Warrior or any other business related professionals. I am however, going to share my involvement in this as it always connects to me.

Have you ever read your daily horoscope? Not horror– for all you skeptics! Have you ever read up on astrological birth traits? If you have, you might tell where this is headed but if not– let me help you out just a little. I’ve mentioned Warrior and my daughter sharing that Gemini sign many times but Vince and I share the Virgo one. No, I don’t go looking up people but happened to come across this information on twitter a few years ago.

All those Happy Birthday wishes for Mr. McMahon and oh, so sweet! Once I realized we both are Virgos, how do you think I reacted? “OMG, I can’t believe it, how super cool!” Nope– not mine at all. I just said to my phone: “I get it.” What does that even mean? I cried a little which sounds weird I know… I understand what it’s like to be a Virgo and while some traits are not me all the time, most are. You can look up your own but just know mine involves stubbornness, a good work ethic, organized, and emotional. The emotion part is not what it seems. WE CARE A LOT.

I’ve read some quotes from Mr. McMahon and he has said the relationships with some of the superstars back in the day was: “never just business for me.” Warrior and him had a very strong personal bond. Virgos like being in control and being right but our heart is out there. I would always blame Vince for everything bad that I didn’t like with um, you know who. After all, “don’t cross the Boss!” Right? He was the obvious target until fans knew more of the story.

Another interesting so-called “fact” is that Virgos and Geminis are a bad mix and don’t get along. Let’s see— I’ve got that girl/girl dynamic with my daughter, Vince and Warrior had the guy/guy dynamic so I guess that leaves me and Warrior with the girl/guy dynamic. We actually share some traits but I can see aspects of clashing too. I have said also that I didn’t always agree with Warrior’s views but never lost respect for him, never… Geminis are stubborn too and put their heart into what they do. Respecting authority was sometimes difficult for Warrior but again– he didn’t have that much in his past which is the WHY. Forget all the “specifics” of what people say about possible opposites. I can clash with my daughter too but we come together when it counts the most.

I do believe and Vince has said this too but he and Warrior were more alike than different. Intellectual yet creative. They fought passionately for what they believed in and I do too. This helped me understand Vince a little more also and not just from a business perspective. My daughter is passionate too and in fact had to look up info several years ago as I became perplexed with her behavior. I needed more and it was very clear to me as to why she reacted the way she did in some situations.

I realize this isn’t for everyone and I don’t follow astrology regularly but it does provide some insight and it did for me. Sure, it can be fun just to see how your day gets played out but don’t get too caught up as it isn’t healthy. At least I don’t think so.

We should always look to the good and not the bad. When most think of those guys in that photo, negative memories will surface. Isn’t that a shame? I actually want to remember the good they did together despite their differences at times. This photo, great memory. Clashing yes– for a while but like I have stated before as well, you gotta get to the WHY and HOW not just the WHAT. Most people don’t. Things are not always what we think or how they seem. To be without emotion means you don’t care and they both did—- so much.

My relationship with Warrior in spirit isn’t one of clashing at all but it’s different energy in that way. We have so much in common and more than I ever thought. Of course it has nothing to do with money, (my book a little!) a character, fame, or any of that but the spiritual heart of him is the same. I am glad he did walk away from WWE actually since the possibility of being away from his family would’ve hurt his spirit more. He proved he could do other things in his life.

Here’s one final note to add: When I was first going thru all this with Warrior in the beginning, I wanted to use one word to describe him. That’s impossible! I was tired of hearing intense, energetic, disciplined, and others. The perfect word popped in my head— ENIGMA.

That was before I had the book where Vince used that word too. I walked away from the page knowing great Virgo minds think alike! Mystique was another great one but enigma is Ultimate!

I have had other moments when something popped in my head before ever looking at the book… “A Life Lived Forever.” I would then read or see things after I had an intuitive moment. My abilities and Warrior energy hard at work! 🤝🤔🤔

~~~ I know Virgo is a “maiden” but maybe Vince would prefer an Earth reference as “protector” of the WWE!
