The Genius in You βœŠπŸ»πŸ§

Would you believe you are a genius if one person said this? How about two or even three? Well, warriors you get three people saying you are a genius in this post. That word does sound intimidating for sure. We usually equate it with having superior intelligence or really great ideas. We ALL are geniuses, all of us. I’ll let you know why…

These three people telling that you are a genius happen to me, Warrior, and Mel Robbins. You obviously know me and some may know Warrior as the subject of my book Spirit and Belief but some may not know Mel.

Mel Robbins is an American T.V. host, author, and motivational speaker. She has been featured on CNN, given TED talks, and is a life coach to millions. She like Warrior and myself want you to spend time doing what you love because you are a genius.

It’s so easy for me or anyone else to write words and say them to others but what about to yourself? We talk the talk but can we walk the walk or practice what we preach? I believe in the greatness of myself. Warrior did as does Mel. Now, it’s your turn. Try this exercise. Look into a mirror and repeat that phrase.

“I believe in the greatness of myself.” *** Say it as many times as you need to warriors! The more you say it, the more you’ll believe it. I’ll do it too…

Mel suggests beginning your day as a genius with greatness before 7:30 A.M. Take 30 minutes or just 15 if you can’t do the whole half hour just for you. Truly spend time on you, not anyone else. I don’t mean a household chore, errand, stuff for your spouse, kids, pets, or any of that. Also, no life skills either like brushing your teeth or eating. Try to stay away from social media as well. Make it your time for YOU. Nothing robotically but mindfully.

Pray, meditate, write!, read, exercise, be outdoors in nature, take a bath, listen to music, be creative in any way you like. Stick to it every single day for at least 30 days. You will notice a difference with how your day gets started and guess what? That’s being a genius warriors.

Here’s a quote from Warrior: ( and that video above)

“Bold is genius. You came here to be a genius… Take that f***ing genius inside of you and show it off to the rest of the world!”

Yes, he used profanity A LOT! It is dramatic but we do need to share ourselves with others and make a difference in this life. Be passionate about what you love. He had also said he never met anybody that didn’t have greatness inside to be a genius. They just may never fully realize its full potential. Don’t be one of them. He goes on to say that the mind controls how that genius comes about. You have the power and control over your thoughts everyday through self-belief. Just make the time and use your own unique gifts, talents, and skills to make it happen.

Of course I knew that from Warrior. When I found Mel as part of Hay House’s World Summit this year, it struck me how similar their statements were. Hers without swearing! 😬

Here’s a quote from Goethe:

“Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.”

*** His quote is very much the same as Warrior and Mel’s messages. Another idea Mel shares is to eliminate the “to-do” list. Do you really need to write down– laundry, walk the dog, or get groceries? Maybe you do but your brain will know over time. I have mentioned on my other blog making a working to-do list you’d actually accomplish without too many things in a day. Can you try this too? Don’t forget to remember yourself on that list! We take care of everyone and everything else (especially women) but can’t forget us in the process.

Whatever your list is like, make time for you as a genius. It sounds intense I know but that’s how we need to be in order to accomplish any goal. Get rid of that list altogether! I have and it truly does work. I’m not fixated on those to-dos and really know what needs to be done or what I’d like to do. Some of you extreme planners may be offended so just take baby steps one at a time each day.

Take it from me, Warrior, and Mel. That genius is already inside you just waiting for its day to come into greatness. Listen to us and yourself with that gut instinct you possess. You will never have this life back so own it now and tap into your inner genius. 15 or 30 minutes is all it takes. Use your greatness to be that genius you are meant to be.

P.S. Here’s a quote from Mel:

“Greatness is Hearing Your Truth And Speaking It, No Matter How Your Voice Shakes.”

P.P.S. Warrior has made MANY videos on this topic so check them out at:www.ultimatewarrior.com

I'm a wife, mom of 2 and have always been a huge fan of WWE’s the Ultimate Warrior despite his passing. I created this blog to share my stories relating to him that happened years ago and some are continuing today with his Spirit alive and well! I hope some fans out there relate and enjoy my blog!!! Check out my book β€œSpirit and Belief” on how Warrior influenced me in spirit. It is filled with humor, family stories, psychic terms, following my intuition, and how everyone has natural abilities we can tap into or get guidance upon.
