Debunk Those Myths…

Wow. There are certainly a lot of myths out there warriors. We jump to conclusions, we assume, we hear one side, and on and on. I am a HUGE myth buster and wanted to dive into this more. Last summer I wrote: “Don’t Make Assumptions” which was mostly about physical appearances. This one “wrestles” bigger topics than that. Thank you to ALL for finding that post as it has been quite popular lately. You fill my heart with GOOD- truly you do. 💜I just love his tie in that photo!!!

My book Spirit and Belief debunks many myths surrounding psychic gifts and spirituality. I tackle those right from the beginning but now I’ll list possible myths for this blog:

~It’s all about the Ultimate Warrior.

~It’s a wrestling blog about yesteryear.

~It’s a “fanatic” blog.

LOL—a 3 count again!

Oh boy, I can list others. I so hope you loyal readers don’t feel that way. If some do, just read them. You’ll see for yourself that it is not any of those. O.K.- I do mention Warrior, wrestling, and my “fan” traits but I always include all of YOU. In the beginning, it was very different and I will admit that. We all evolve as I continually say. Hard to believe some of my stories back then involved matching hairstyles or a fashion statement similar to Warrior’s! Well, wouldn’t you agree the topics are much more diverse? It still is my warrior writings just in a new way.

What are myths others have about you? I know it sounds like assumptions but to me, myths go deeper. After all, the word myth is in mythology which I’ve blogged and those were all about belief systems. They involve more stories with groups of people whereas an assumption is based around outward looks or even being uneducated on a topic. My other blog addressed this as well. You are making a guess without facts but a myth can be proved wrong with facts. Yes, to some those myths of long ago were true but to some, they were not. We do have many things in our culture from mythology but I digress…

Just because others have their own way of believing and doing, doesn’t mean your way needs to be their way. This is true with so much in our lives regarding numerous topics. My spirituality didn’t follow all those others of childhood experiences or even a family history. Warrior’s career in wrestling didn’t follow a family legacy or using many “technical” skills. We are both myth busters who didn’t fit the mold.

Some may not like you for not fitting in the way you should and they may never come to like you ever. Fans who always disliked the Ultimate Warrior character never liked Warrior the man either. It could be very different reasons of course but then there are those who actually hate just because of a difference in opinion. I would never call someone a piece of sh**, trash, garbage, or any other vile word who’s point of view is opposite mine. NEVER. Yes, things can get extremely heated but I am better than that. You should be too. BUST those myths about how we should all be agreeable and just agree to disagree. There is so much to life than politics, religion, lifestyle choices, and other serious ideas. We NEED more lightheartedness warriors…

It is O.K. to not like people, it really is. It is also O.K. to make your voice heard like I do or leave comments with your own myth busting. Let’s be better humans though. Truthfully, if you like or follow someone on social media, refrain from engaging in ongoing ridiculous debates. Am sure you have more important things to do, right? I’m all about opinions obviously but horrendous comments- NEVER. 🙄🤬

You can bust myths by just sharing your views but there are those who will never change their minds. Let them be. Our precious time on Earth isn’t worth getting that upset over. I know there are Warrior haters out there and you don’t bother me. I have a right too and that has always been getting to the why and how of emotion. Balance that head and heart to best serve while myth busting. Be civil, not evil. Your own people are worth the energy, others are not. It’s all about respect too so if we give it, we’ll get it. 👊🏻

Decide which myths are worth busting and which ones aren’t worth your time. Share your beliefs but let others share theirs.

P.S. I recently bought a new oracle card deck by Nicole Piar called: “Inspirational Cat Cards.” I watched a YouTube flip-thru and one card is a WARRIOR. No idea at first, how typical.,, 😽😉Some of it reads: “… stand up for ourselves… set boundaries, or be daring.” Bravery is also mentioned so bust those myths that are TRULY worth that of a Warrior. Let’s all try to enjoy the GOOD along this journey of ours…

I'm a wife, mom of 2 and have always been a huge fan of WWE’s the Ultimate Warrior despite his passing. I created this blog to share my stories relating to him that happened years ago and some are continuing today with his Spirit alive and well! I hope some fans out there relate and enjoy my blog!!! Check out my book “Spirit and Belief” on how Warrior influenced me in spirit. It is filled with humor, family stories, psychic terms, following my intuition, and how everyone has natural abilities we can tap into or get guidance upon.
