Success in Stubbornness

As a kid, I got called stubborn

A LOT… Did you? It’s another word in my warrior way that I am clotheslining to the mat! It sounds so negative but let’s make it positive. When did standing up for your beliefs become being stubborn? I guess if you never compromise or make it “my way or the highway,” it can get kinda ugly but not always.

I’m not talking about if your daily routine gets shifted around or even errands and chores. What I mean are big life issues that affect us morally, psychologically, and in other ways. Some may have said Warrior was stubborn on many things in his life which is probably putting it mildly but there’s more. The more being his success that came from that stubbornness.

I’ve mentioned numerous times in his life where he fought against naysayers or a “system” of authority. You can google all that negative stuff as I’m not here to dig up old buried dirt. Maybe his success with specific ideas wasn’t quite what he anticipated or hoped for but without a sense of stubbornness, he wouldn’t have been truly him.

Some of you may remember a post I wrote a few years ago now about Birth Signs. Vince McMahon and I share the Virgo while Warrior and my daughter are those Geminis. Yes, I will still say are for Warrior as that embodied his life here. Well, as much as those signs can butt heads, they do come together when it matters most. Stubbornness that turns into success gets achieved by both. I can honestly say that this is true for all four of us.

Think about times in your life when YOU were stubborn with something.,, Even little things count. Maybe you start a new project but it’s getting later, even close to bedtime and you just gotta finish. My husband can be like this too. Tomorrow is too late~~ it must be done today! Then, you reap the benefits of successfully completing that task and can rest. Sometimes perfectionism takes over or obsessiveness but again, not going those routes today.

I so wanted a specific story about me to share with stubborn being part of my nature but can’t seem to connect to any in particular… My one sister always called me stubborn when we were growing up but then also~~ she could be too on many things! It just made me feel awful like it was a wrong quality to have. Now, I know better and OWN it as only a warrior should. A few little stories came to mind but they truly don’t paint me or another in a great light so nah, not telling those.

We do like our stuff certain ways like I’ve said multiple times but when are you so stubborn that it makes people call you out on it? I hope you proved them wrong with success that came from your stubborn way. When someone doesn’t agree, we can either accept or walk away. There is always a choice and my wish is that you chose what you won’t regret. The hows and whys maybe could be different but never the whats. That will always stay the same.

Let’s choose to make the word stubborn a good one and eliminate its meaning of negativity. The word success is positive but it is worth interpreting with how one’s life goes. You have this body on Earth with one mind, heart, and gut. Use them to make the most out of your experiences and adventures. Sure, there will be disappointments and failures but those only make a warrior stronger. We get stronger in everything when we actually go thru all that gets thrown at us.

You have a right to defend whoever and whatever you wish without being called stubborn sarcastically. You also have a right to success in however that works, even with those obstacles and detours. I’m stubborn, Warrior was, (is!) and you are too. I know you are because it’s part of each one of us. Use that stubbornness and change it for the good. Success comes and it will despite that one who always said:

“You’re so stubborn!” πŸ™„πŸ˜¬

P.S. I recently noticed that the ’96 WWF magazine I have been using for pics this whole month except for one– was from July! WOW… Guess it was only truly ultimate how I decided to get that out and look for ideas!!! πŸ’™πŸ˜‰Intuition my friends and I am covering that soon!

P.P.S. If you have read my book Spirit and Belief or know someone who has, head on over to Amazon and leave a review! I would so appreciate and it only takes a few minutes… πŸ™πŸ»
