Yes~~~ dear friends, I am back with a more compelling and interesting topic this week. I honestly thought I had used that word of “rise” in some title over the years but nope, I had not. At least not when I checked, which was just once. So, it comes forward as a result of my favorite female emailer whose little red book 📕 I read a few years back. It also got its own post then but her stories just compel me spiritually every single time. Not religious mind you but like previously noted, I read her OUT LOUD… Warrior said to do this with important stuff and I do. Some words totally echoed as I related to them in a different way than necessarily how she was referencing. I still connect and I hope you do too however it fits or works. For me, it is felt beyond the physical which is typical with her writings. I will make it relatable to my writings because it’s what I do with you all in this arena of words.
Always rise above. What does that mean for you? Do you recognize the importance of those words and truly apply them in your life? It’s simple yet hard in many ways like an easier said than done moment. You might be thinking : “ yeah right Kathy, whatever…” or insert eye rolling 🙄 even. I get it because words on a page aren’t actions until we make them so. How can we do this? Well, let me share her story and then see if after reading~~~ you may have an idea on your own. If not, that’s OK as I will offer my versions with being my own warrior woman like I need to be.
She is speaking of a certain woman in history here, but it applies today~~ it truly does. Let’s begin…. “ In the absence of (someone’s) physical presence, she rises.” OK, you can insert names here or even add we or he when reading. Here’s more… “ Do not weep, do not be distressed nor be in doubt. For his grace will be with you sheltering you. Rather, we should praise his greatness, for he has united us…” All right, another one you can infer. She was relating to someone famous who passed away as I do too. If anyone wants to associate a creator force or God on this do so if it resonates. I however will go the Warrior way because it’s my mission with you all. I know it might sound deep but think about it if you are, were, or consider yourself a fan of Warrior. The Ultimate Warrior character fits as well for just a moment. I know it seems like I’m from another planet 🪐 to some of you, but I just might be like many thought of UW! Just stay in this match with me if you can. I promise we all will be winners!
I’m just going to list all the quotes and then explain how we rise, or me, you, and anyone who chooses to. Will you “ become the voice of love even in the absence of it?” Can you rise above it all? No matter how we are ranked (like most readers could predominantly be men,) we are all worthy to rise and become united. United as fans, whether of UW’s, wrestling, spiritual thinking, or anything else you relate with this blog.
We align with something bigger than ourselves that’s not of our comprehension. I’m paraphrasing here. It can be the afterworld or belief systems. Any of your choosing. Be gentle with what you have yet to learn, know, or discover. Some we may have figured out but then others, not so much. I know as a woman “fan” of UW’s (while not truly a minority, but still treated like one in many ways,) I have risen above. My work is primarily with men. I might’ve been overlooked or not considered “important” enough by some in the past, but not now. Not now with all I have done keeping his messages going but in a new, womanly way. I didn’t care about fame, money, or getting noticed in certain ways but only by those who truly understand. Yes, success can be defined differently but specific attentions were never my ultimate goal.
Here’s another quote and of course it doesn’t fit EXACTLY but I’m sure you loyalists know… “ It’s the one that cared to be there, always, by his side… even in death.” Yeah, it’s extreme but it’s me in many ways concerning Warrior with ideas I cannot discuss although her person is someone entirely different naturally. PAUSE… *** Well, that summarizes the quotes from her always super intoxicating yet personal emails regarding those folks in history. Are you confused? I hope not too much as interpreting looks complicated to many who truly can’t associate. Even if you can’t connect with Warrior, take another that perhaps has passed on and see if they fit. Do you carry their messages along and rise above despite them physically being gone?
Of course we all do but how is the question. What I do is not what you might consider, and with a famous person~~~ no doubt. Let’s altogether celebrate one’s life, lived with greatness and not to define it by sadness or anger. They want so much more for us once we finally are able to get there. Move through it all with grace uniting those who accept you with compassion.
You might not believe you were called to such a powerful purpose, but it is there if you choose to accept that role. No, it really isn’t for us all but for me, it was and still is. It is with so much responsibility and risk but one I decided needed to be brought forth, despite naysayers or even my own doubts of authenticity. UW had millions of fans and still does so if you are one, how do you rise above? It takes time, patience, and action to find out your hows, which I cannot truly answer for you. Even if wanting to honor someone you loved, how can you rise or do you want to? I’m not saying you have to write, be on a podcast, or expose anything but just remember to not be swayed by those who may not get your story. It won’t be for all as mine aren’t either. Rising above in any form takes so much courage like warriors need to have. He rose above haters and bosses and a business at times to be better in other ways. He then knew how to meet others where they were at, and wanted to keep legacies alive. I will continue to rise above in all that I do because deep down, I am my own warrior. In his physical absence, I will rise always… 🙏🏻🤍
