Welcome warriors 2023 ๐Ÿ’ซ

It is 2023! ๐Ÿฅณ My goodness warriors. Another year of NEW beginnings. Are you ready? I haven’t used the year in a title since 2019, how about that? I do hope all of you had a fantastic holiday season filled with love, magic, and good times. It was very restful for me with a few celebrations but nothing too exhausting. Very grateful for that. So, today’s post contains a few sillies and a few dreams coming your way. I thought of the goofy things, but then some dreams entered my sleep…

The silly or goofy stuff came from Facebook that totally resonated with me. Have you ever done those FB quizzes where you enter some info or tap on a picture to reveal an answer? I have done a few as some get too involved and become ridiculous to me. Sure, they are fun but I don’t need them flooding my feed all the time. This one I did a few years back and never forgot it. It was all about what profession you were in a past life. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Yeah, that’s up my alley… OK, let’s play here. You know it’ll connect to Warrior somehow and let me tell you THIS. I played it TWICE just to see and got the same answer! ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ

Do you think it was bodybuilder, chiropractor, pro wrestler, or anything else relative to Warrior? Gosh, did they even have those professions waaay back? Wrestling would have to be the sumo’s of Japan- ha ha, no thanks! Maybe it was writer, artist, or even speaker? Don’t overlook the obvious here. I got “warrior” twice. Yep, really. Sure, it’s just a random word Facebook gives you but it still amazed me. There were many others I read like farmer, midwife, and even a gypsy, (which I can imagine for myself in a way ๐Ÿ”ฎ…) but nobody else I saw had warrior. I stopped at two since I didn’t want to lose my title! Third time could’ve been a charm but I didn’t risk it. Well played Facebook, well played…

The next one was a play on words with your name that a friend of mine also played. I can’t remember it all but the part I did know was this: “Kathy’s thoughts are loud!” Oh my yes, is that true. My friend even agreed as FB got it right again. Some of those quizzes are cute like the few I do but then some become such nonsense. Play at your own risk. ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคญ

Enter DREAMLAND…๐Ÿฅฑ๐Ÿ˜ด

Here come the dreams warriors. This first one was right before Christmas Eve so aww, very fitting. I was in my childhood front yard just walking around. I’ve had a backyard dream, now the front. Lots of people were there but no idea who they were and why. Oh, those crazy details that don’t seem to matter. It was very crowded and yet I was alone just meandering. All of a sudden, as if rain had fallen, my yard became surrounded with Bluejay feathers EVERYWHERE. I could hardly see the grass. I never saw them coming down but the feeling was like rain in my mind without the wet. My hands became useless while trying to carry as many as I could hold. I didn’t have any container and just laughed at the vividness of patterns, sizes, and blue colors of my SIGN from Warrior. It was beautiful as I felt his presence before waking that morning. Merry Christmas from Warrior indeed. ๏ฟผโค๏ธ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿชถ๐ŸŽ„

This next one I was unsure about but then after a bit, it seemed OK to share. I mean, really- it isn’t even as detailed as some but when Warrior’s kids are involved, I get a little protective. Readers may remember my Dress-up dream with Dana, Mattie, my daughter, and me. Now, it was Indy’s turn who is Warrior’s older daughter. I had heard a while back in an interview with Dana how Indy decided to abandon her ballet career which made me so sad. ๐Ÿ˜ž Covid took a hit on many professions and I guess she needed more of a college major. She is studying early childhood education which was what I did. I wish her so much success as little children are such a joy!๏ฟผ

In this dream, I was offering her teaching tips and sharing all my experiences. I found out about her change probably last year, so this dream was just last month. She seemed younger than 22, but we had the best time chatting just us girls together. All those Warrior girls have December birthdays like my husband with Sagittarius โ™๏ธ (if you follow astrology) so maybe that’s what manifested it for me. ๐Ÿค”It also could be our early childhood connection, who knows? It was so sweet just spending time discussing what ECE is and seeing her so passionate about it. She can teach preschool through 3rd grade as an option but no idea what Indy will pursue. I hope she continues and it becomes inspiring for her. Always such a different kind of feeling when Warrior girls visit me in dreams. It is truly heartwarming and joy filled every time. ๐Ÿฅฐ

That will wrap up this first post of 2023 warriors. Oh, and I’m still seeing the word SHINE in various places and hearing it in NEW songs too. How about that? Keep shining as this new year is just beginning. Do what fills your soul and let the rest go. Your heart needs to be happy so do what you can to make that happen- even if you like Facebook quizzes! ๐Ÿ˜œ I can’t believe I forgot yet another HUGE point here. That selfie of me. Yeah, look for more coming as I wanted to start the year off a little new and different this time. Warrior pics will be around soon for sure but we need variety, right? Make January fun, dream filled, and don’t forget to SHINE despite the winter weather some of us are having, or will have… ๐Ÿคโ˜ฎ๏ธโ„๏ธโ˜ƒ๏ธ

Learning to Teach ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“

Do we teach to learn or learn to teach? Are we the student or the teacher? Those questions came to me when starting my bedtime routine the other night. Guess that was a time for an injection of inspiration or is it intensity? Wait, that was last week and enough with all these questions. โ‰๏ธOh, warriors- this is kinda a big topic and I’ve shared little snippets before but let’s elaborate some. Those questions are more statements and can be reversed throughout our lives. We have been both and are both.

Think about a quick timeline here. As babies, we need to be taught constantly because we don’t know any better. Our parents are our first teachers and then we have school teachers, coaches, counselors, and other adults instructing us. School especially goes on for many years of our life until we become the teachers. For me, that became real with having taught preschoolers but I gotta say- they taught me stuff too. It goes both ways. Once I was a parent, I taught them lots and still are. Now, I am teaching others about spirituality and hopefully with these writings, you are learning a thing or two along the way.

Warrior followed that same path as he aged just like we all do. Even as his careers transitioned, he was always learning along the way. What he learned in bodybuilding, he applied to wrestling which all started in chiropractic school with the physiology of the body. He also was the student of learning new beliefs, ways of thinking, and expressing himself as that creative person. It wasn’t until many years later that he finally became more of a teacher by sharing what he learned in various methods of social media. He learned so he could teach but again, learning never stops. It doesn’t end when our actual schooling years are finished. Then, new learning begins when we are officially adults.

If any of you that had known me years ago could’ve predicted what my life is now, I would’ve thought you were ultimately nuts! O.K., we’re just talking about the Warrior stuff here but what a student I became and still am. Sure, this path isn’t for everybody but knowing my gifts, it made me want to learn more. I am always being educated while still teaching. A friend of mine and myself created a Facebook group for intuitive people and it is growing. Our new idea is to post live videos on various topics in order to educate. This month’s is all about healing trauma with ancestral work. I know this doesn’t connect to Warrior but just the point of being an educator with shared experiences. We are learning new techniques all the time. I am getting more comfortable going live as a student teacher.

I bet plenty of you find yourselves in situations where you are the teacher and student at the same time. Pro wrestling is a good example of this. You are learning the business as a student but then teaching a fan base about your character, signature moves, and everything in between. I think many of Warrior’s struggles remained with that battle of student vs. teacher. He wanted to learn but just in his own way. He eventually became the teacher but again, with his brand of opinions and disciplines. Learn something new everyday was part of his Warrior way and he showed that through his actions, writing, speaking, art, and all that interested him after wrestling.

It doesn’t even have to be those kinds of ideas either. Look at your life and all that you’d like to put out into this world. We might be stronger in one over the other based on our personalities but they are both there on your journey. Being a teacher or student doesn’t have to involve a building, tons of people, or even textbooks. We have the internet which may replace book learning to many but it’s all in how you educate yourself. It also is up to you with how or if you decide to teach what you’ve learned. Maybe there’s something you want to know about but fear is holding you back. Some answers aren’t for us to know ( MORE on that in a few weeks…) but if you never try, you’ll never get there. Warrior also had said: “If you can, you will but if don’t, you won’t.” So very true for all of us. He also had a speech about how “Fear is an Aberration!” I posted that as well a few years ago.

Be the student even as an adult because you may just motivate someone else to get that confidence to teach what they have learned. It’s part of that natural cycle like giving and receiving. Of course it’s easier learning when it’s something we truly want to do but when it’s the hard stuff, we may tap out. I know throughout my spiritual process there have been many lessons I had to learn but then can pass on my experiences so others relate. It can be painful in many areas but we need to be those warriors our spirit knows us to be. Learning becomes teaching and as life long students, it’s our ultimate job to gorilla press any doubts down to the mat. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’™

P.S. A quick mention with Batista of last week. He used U.W.’s rope shake as a tribute and got to meet Warrior at WM 30, Warrior was humbled. Batista didn’t know what his reaction would be. A teacher and student lesson right there….

P.P.S. I just recently found this podcast and they did an episode on Warrior. It’s one hour and they go LIVE every Thurs. at 10 A.M. EST in the U.S. They are based in New Jersey and have a huge shop. Other episodes have been about 80’s wrestlers, managers, referees, and lots more. I listened to Randy Savage’s too! Give them a try…

Tag Team Teachers ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

Hey there warriors! Guess for this one it’s Randy fans too as yet again I’m sharing my own funny story about them. I decided to end this month by turning away from the serious and writing a

what if…?” scenario that kept coming back. Things have a way of doing that and if they do, it’s worth it. More on being worthy another time…

Let’s rewind first for anyone new that needs to catch up. Back in Feb. 2019, I blogged “The Blue Jay Feather Dream” and then in Aug. it was “Ultimate Maniacisms.” The feather dream involved Warrior while the U.M. dream involved Randy. Both took place at one of the preschools I used to teach at and both had those two guys as teachers, only not together. I’ll link the posts at the end but let’s just say I kept imagining a “what if…?” ๐Ÿค”

I’m laughing just thinking of this and drained all at once. What if I taught with both of them at that school? Tag Team Teachers indeed. ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿคฃ I know I always involve all of you and this post isn’t quite like that but it is fun to imagine and just be goofy once in a while. That’s my advice! I hope I get you laughing too…

This preschool wasn’t traditional but we still taught the kids everything they needed before Kindergarten. It looked like a gym with trampolines, uneven and parallel bars, mats, a slide with scooters, ropes, ladders, and obstacle courses set up for free times. There were two classrooms with all this great stuff for kids. It truly did boost kids confidence as we did gymnastics, sports, relay races, and games. There were still quiet times, stories, free play, snack, academics and crafts so am hoping you get the idea.

Each teacher rotated being “lead” or in charge for the week and the others would sign up for activities on the lesson plan. So, can you figure out what Warrior and Randy would do? I know it’s tough if you’ve never been exposed to preschools or teaching but let’s do this together. Here’s my take… They’d work as that tag team to build an obstacle course which would be way too high and way too big!! Warrior would be getting out face paint at free time which we’d only used on special occasions like parties. He’d want the kids to have his mask on to wear home. Randy would want a themed dress-up day so he’d come with all his sequined hats, goggles, and robes for the kids to try on. Oh, the possibilities!!

They’d probably get frustrated with me correcting some of their “creative ideas” but I’d surrender and just give in while laughing hysterically!!! I can picture Warrior with a relay race line instructing the kids to RUN so fast all the way down. Hopefully, they’d remember what the real task would be and not just running! Who can picture Randy reading a book to young kids? His voice and inflection would just be incredible. He’d insert “oh yeah!” and “dig it!” just to make it authentic. I do believe kids would be on the edge of their seats listening so attentively. Just think of a classic story and hear Randy’s voice reading it. I literally got tears in my eyes from laughing! Warrior loved reading too but some of his choices might’ve been over preschoolers level of thinking. I don’t believe that age is ready to hear about the gods in Mythology quite yet…

How about snack time? It would be SLIM JIM beef sticks and TUNA from a can! Match those up fans.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘Warrior would be ultimate with the crafts but his perfectionism might slow us down. I would need other teachers for emotional support for sure with those two but what a blast! Of course we’d probably see Gorilla press slams and flying elbows being done on stuffed animals or even picking up kids. There were lots of mats around so Ms. Lead Teacher would have to step in for sure… For anyone remembering “The Blue Jay Feather Dream,” we also had station time. Those Tag Team Teachers would be great using the equipment while working more closely with the kids on various physical skills. Am sure they’d want to add their own too.

We did have a few guy teachers at this school over the years so they got its appeal despite the non-traditional approach. I have worked at both types but this one had a mix of active and quiet which would wear kids out. Adults would be too! It is needed always.

Well, there’s my scenario of what if? with the Ultimate Warrior and “Macho Man” Randy Savage as Tag Team preschool Teachers. Both finally together without a dream this time. Parents would love them too!
