What’s Yours is Mine… Um…🤔😑

Today marks 6️⃣ years exactly ( yep… this number once again) that I had those extreme heart palpitations which led me to the ER that night. I dislike totally remembering but I do because of certain connections like October 29, 2013 when 2K 14 was also released 6️⃣ years before my episode in 2019. Yeah, all that right before Halloween, which is in a few days. Those palpitations took me on such a huge warrior journey~~~ I can never fully share. Just know that it was not medical, but totally spiritual which had to happen~~~ as scary as it was for me. It’s yet another yearly time I mention but it’s worth it on here and really does matter. Trust me on this… 💙

Well, with that being remembered now will get into the title above with an “UM” after. Are you into sharing what you have with others or do you get a little stingy? Warrior always wanted to share his wisdom with many but then would become a little overprotective of his UW character as he should’ve been. You collectors out there, how are you with your merch? Many do sell and make it a business but then some probably are super attached or have those items in mint condition~ never opened but waiting for that ultimate sale.

Little kids come to mind here as I know this all too well. Think about when you were young. When you would receive a new toy, did you let friends play with it or not? If you got something you’d been asking for and was super excited, I bet you wouldn’t share for a while until it wanes somewhat. Hopefully, it still interested you longer than a week! I would tell my littles to let their friends play because in a few hours, they go home and then it was all for them once again. Did that always work? Noooooo but I tried. I did totally understand with this though as now being an adult, I have my own “toys”so to speak.

You all know I’ve referenced crystals and in my room, they are just for me. My daughter sometimes comes in and starts touching them, holding them, or all that. It’s one thing if she is serious about using them for good energy but not when teasing or making light of it all. She usually does not do this but only once in a while and it’s probably just to get me irritated, ha! There are those times we hold on too tightly like I said before and then nobody can share. We need to bring about what we have but then set our limits as to how much or how far to go. We are allowed to have our stuff as many do and it’s great to show it off and then move onto other ideas.

Here’s another point with me in my life here. This new app I use spiritually has been shared a little with you but I won’t get into the details. It is done very well for me and I’m excited to keep going with it. I do have to delete some content as it’s draining my battery and taking up a lot of storage! I’m not over sharing and it isn’t technically “mine,” but is widely used by others. Like I say, do what works for you and leave the rest. Not to worry~~~ it has been a few months with this app and my interest is still very high unlike a child with a new toy.

I haven’t fully referenced the “UM” in my title today. What I mean is that often what you’d like to share isn’t necessarily what another would. Sometimes we should or need to depending on what exactly it is. Then other times, we do not need to share because of issues with privacy, respect, or just a simple NO… So, I guess you can take that however you wish but these other expressions fade overtime. It’s like with kids (once again) of saying: “ children should be seen and not heard.” That is wrong by many standards. I also could’ve said: “ share and share alike.” Another “ UM” for sure as that is also debatable. It is different with adults but similar with our thought processes. In my Zoom group, there are a few that don’t always share as much as others and that’s OK. We are all unique personalities. We can’t force certain connections from some but then others will always dominate and become quite extroverted.

What’s yours is mine can apply to all those characters we come to know in the WWF(E) over the years. We will always have our memories and some have more interest than others. Most fans will agree on the sharing aspect regarding wrestling. This is exactly why there are so many podcasts out there with this long-standing topic and one I of course listen to quite often with those 80s guys. In some ways, it seems endless as some people don’t know when to end their call. I am guilty on some of this!!! It’s all about the subject matter…

For those who knew Warrior personally, their relationship with him can be shared some as many have, including mine. Of course it is NOT in the same way but I write or speak what I CAN regarding my journey in ways that suit me. Hopefully you have learned or are learning more on certain aspects along this path but I do too~~~ every day. My kids even teach me much about this concept of sharing in the modern “techie” world but once again, we choose always. I still crave my alone time like previously mentioned and frequently stated but sometimes it needs to happen in order to gain that peace of mind. I do need to watch my over-sharing in order to get acceptance, respect, or just attention~~~ as we all do. Just remember to do it in the right ways and those may take quite a while to figure out. You’ll notice if it is one over the other as it does come back around in some form. It’s like that balancing act of last week.

Well, warriors ~~~ you get to decide all about that sharing part of your life but just be discerning. There can be consequences as you need to be willing to accept them like Warrior did. That “ UM” might still be there as it will. What’s mine can be yours as we as a society or even fans have much in common. Just put those boundaries in place or recognize them before the lines get too blurred. We can share Ultimate Warrior stories, merch, or even toys when kids but know your limits~~~ that’s your “ UM.”

***To anyone celebrating Halloween, stay safe and have fun. It’s not all about the scary stuff ya know! Just no trips to the ER. Oh, and we already carved our pumpkin before today. That’s what I was doing when my heart stuff started on the 29th…

P.S. Have a BOOtiful and SPOOKtacular Magickal Halloween!

Saints and Scary Stuff 🙏🏻😱🎃

Tomorrow is Halloween or All Hallows Eve if you prefer. That was always such a busy time when I was younger. The reasons being that day or night really, and the next few days as well. November 1 is All Saints Day and the 2nd celebrates All Souls. Of course those are Christian holidays, but ones we recognized when growing up. Being in 1st grade was when we dress up as our “patron” Saint or one you’d be named after. Yes, us Catholics were named after Saints. It can even be your middle name. Mine is both. I did not purposely continue that tradition with my kids, but it just so happens their middle names are Saints. Well, I was Saint Catherine of Siena (which is a town in Italy) and I totally remember. I bet my old grade school still does that while singing “ When the Saints Come Marching In” at Mass. Such a cute fun time.

This post is supposed to be scary stuff though! I just wanted to reflect on some nostalgia. Many cultures have traditions different than ours as Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is all about parades, parties, and dancing to remember those loved ones who have passed on. The Warrior family acknowledged this being in New Mexico. Here, it’s mostly about the spooky and all that. I still love the cute Halloween costumes or seeing the littles but nowadays~~~ it’s more with scaring the living daylights out of everyone! That isn’t for me. As a teacher, we could never wear or use anything that would frighten a child. I was a clown once 🤡 but didn’t paint my face. I just had a red wig and nose, and that still scared a few! I would tell them: “ it’s just Miss Kathy!” This is back when clowns were remembered for being in the circus and not horror movies. They were considered good and happy…. Maybe you all have read my cat claws story or those times I was more boy costumes. My favorite was Sleeping Beauty. That was when I was a teacher as well. I bet you all have your own costume stories to tell too.

I never even went to haunted houses at all as my friends didn’t either. I’ve also said how horror movies or anything similar is not and will never be for me. My daughter loves some of it though. It affects me way too much despite it not being real. Hey, that sounds familiar! Great lead into some of Ultimate Warrior’s opponents. 2️⃣ come to mine for me. I bet you fans can guess., Of course it would be The Undertaker and Papa Shango. Even though I was older, they still scared me~~~ fake or not. They still would’ve even if Warrior would not have faced them, but obviously not in the same way. There were many other SCARY wrestlers over the years and some just frustrated me. I used to love clowns as a kid like my costume when teaching. I had two clown dolls when I was a girl and one I ordered through a catalog. Horror movies and Doink the Clown ruined the fun aspect of them. I loved dolls too and then they also got put into horror films. UGH… I dislike it! What happened? Why do people like fright so much?

I’ll move onto a scary moment for me 5 years ago yesterday. And, it was a Tuesday just like this year. It has been written but a very unpleasant night for me right before Halloween. I won’t tell the whole story, but it started to happen October 29 when I was carving a pumpkin. My heartbeat went from rapid to very extreme. Thank goodness I was able to make it through my son’s Fall Band Concert before going to the ER that night. No medical issues were detected so that was great news. No one could feel it except me… The following week, my psychic medium friend helped out a lot as yes~~~ I believed. I did not go to her for that reason, but it kind of turned into that as I really needed some other kind of help. Even my husband became more of a believer during that time… BTW, 5 years prior to the day in 2013 WWE released 2K 14 in the US as I will always remember. Yeah, that date again. That was quite a frightful time in 2019 as I felt my heart literally beating out of my chest. It became the beginning of many spiritual gifts opening for me which I was unaware of back then. I had a few other scary moments which then culminated in my ulcer a few years later, but yes folks~~~ it all connects. It’s similar to my girl’s topics with her paper of last week.

Back to this holiday, how do you all celebrate? Is it full of Saints or spooks? Maybe both and as we all know, Halloween isn’t just for kids. It is fun to dress up and I would probably shock people if I was a-fright! I have shocked a few over the years with my choices though. It ends this month of October before the big holiday season begins…

I’ll wrap up with a positive note today. Not entirely saintly, but definitely not spooky. My girl has yet another assignment. This time, it’s designing a book cover for one of her art classes. She asked me for help once again and decided on cats. No, not a black cat that would relate to Halloween, ha ha! She loves cats and definitely our tabby. She had to decide on a byline (as she asked what that was…?) plus colors and images. I did not ask her to look at my book, but she did anyway. Awwww, proud mom moment. 🥹📗 Her book is about a library cat. Can you believe that? She used a book theme! Great lead into mine here. “ Spirit and Belief” is sold where you find books and if you’d like to read about my experiences with Warrior and spirit, look it up. You didn’t think I would let this go without a plug when she designed a book cover did ya? That moment presented itself for sure. 😉 I was so happy with my cover and still am.

However you do Halloween or the celebratory days after, just be safe and have fun. You can be a saint or spook, but avoid the trouble. Let’s honor and respect those who have gone before us in a memorable way and be happy for their time here. That is what they want from us. You can scare but do it in a fun way and not a frightful one. Happy Halloween, All Saints, all Souls, and whatever else you choose. Just don’t dress up as The Undertaker or Papa Shango! 😯Anyone remember 10 years ago when I saw a boy at my son’s school dressed as Ultimate Warrior for their Halloween parade? That was a post all its own and I will link below. Oh, my tears back then… 😭No pic of him on that post although I took a few just for me. The back of him and not his face. I am no stalker! At least I hope those kids didn’t think so…🫣

*** Plus, there was someone dressed as a Gorilla 🦍 in front of him!!! Can you believe that? Warrior fans will understand or even fans of Mr. Monsoon… 😳

Happy Undertaker Halloween! 🎃😳☠️👻😈

Happy Halloween Warrior fans! I had planned on using a photo from the June 2, 1991 Body Bag Match between the Ultimate Warrior vs. the Undertaker but then saw these masks! This was a much better choice for me since really, I didn’t want to use that match of Warrior being paralyzed or put in a body bag at the end..😮

Let’s back up a few years with some funny Undertaker moments. I decided to wait until Halloween since well, I think you probably know why! At first, the Undertaker was never a person I would choose to write about as previously mentioned but hey– it’s all good now and they were friends.

A year or so after Warrior passed, my son panicked about not having a current library book to use at school. He had finished his first one and needed another for tomorrow, ugh! Last minute doesn’t work with this Mama… Off to the library we went and started browsing the stacks. Once again, a library moment but I’ll take it.

He was on one end and I wandered off a little next to him. My eyes were intent on finding this series or author he liked but then my gaze turned upward. Right in front of me standing straight up on this shelf was a biography in the kids section of WWE’s Undertaker! That character always brings up bad memories for me but for the first time ever, I smiled and thought of all the library stuff I had seen since Warrior’s passing. Another right place, right time moment.

I did open it up which many years ago would never have given a second look. I took a photo and sent it to my brother with the same caption used frequently back then: “I can’t go anywhere!” It was a funny yet frenzied and unexpected library time.

The next Undertaker moment came after I purchased the “Ultimate Collection” DVD and it has an interesting twist only recently noticed. When I bought the DVD of course it had to be new without any previous views. It had never been opened or watched before so I was set.

Some parts were skipped like you-know-who but also WMVI among a few others I had seen bunches or had on VHS already. The day came when I decided to finally watch those parts just to see it all thru to the end. I got to that match between U.W. and U.T. and about halfway into the “snoozefest” (it really was!) the DVD started skipping. You know what I mean right? That happens after a while when you watch something over and over but this was new!

Somebody up there knows my feelings about U.T. so– come to your own conclusion… 🤣 Guess I wasn’t supposed to watch that whole match as it skipped thru most of it. I couldn’t believe this while just laughing so hard to myself. I had never even watched that before, ever… Those electronic devices sure are tricky! Very little times would anyone catch me watching that match or even the Funeral Parlor before it on the DVD. I do love Randy and Roddy’s commentary since they save me! 😜😬

So, let’s move ahead to now and just a few weeks ago. Decided to see if indeed the “skipping part” was still there but before I even got to the match– the Funeral Parlor part was skipping! ⚰️ Whaaat??? I barely have watched that but hey, fine by me! I did go ahead to the match and it wasn’t skipping at all. Now, it’s the Parlor’s turn, hmm…. Remember the “Lights on, Lights off” post relating to Undertaker? Could these both have some funny Warrior energy attached to them? It sure makes me laugh since he knows my stories now.

Going back to early October, my husband, daughter, and I were at the Halloween store. I saw these U.T. masks. Your thoughts really do manifest sometimes. I was actually thinking of my next blog post while there… Um, why??? I didn’t want to use a match photo and then I saw the masks! Problem solved yet again. When I went to put one back after looking at it, the plastic hook broke– figures….

Have a FUN yet SOOOKY Halloween, maybe I’ll see someone with an Undertaker mask on! Just no hearing GONG music… 🙄💩

P.S. Nothing else has ever skipped on the DVD, ever.., 😱

P.P.S. SO EXCITED to share the link for my RADIO show interview with Kate Delaney of America Tonight! You need to scroll down to October 10th, hour 2. I am at the 27:11 mark, 12 min. long.
