Truth Be Told 💪🏻👷🏼‍♂️👍

Happy February warriors! To all my U.S.readers, I do hope any of you affected by this most recent blizzard were able to tunnel or “slam” your way out of the ❄️ snow. We had about a foot or more with frigid, bitter cold temps🥶 this past month. I cannot remember it being so harsh and extreme in such a long time. So much all at once too. When it melts, we just might have some monsoons! Truth be told for sure. Wait, I talked about Gorilla a few weeks ago… Let’s change up that gear for a minute as winter weather I do not enjoy much. My body protests it too. Stay warm and dry when you can friends.

I found it, I found it, I found it! Yes, it was from a video but still it is there. That pic below is UW with the sledgehammer as part of the ‘87 Slammy Awards. He became that construction worker as Koko B. Ware sang and danced along to “Piledriver.” We never did find out who won that song as Sika ate the paper! I had that photo ready to go because I promised you readers I would find it so it could get used soon. It just so happened to be today and here’s another reason why. My girl and I were shopping last week in a local candle store. I didn’t buy any candles but did get some oils and room sprays. We were the only ones in there besides the owner. She had music playing in the background and yet I didn’t notice at first. Ding, ding, ding, I bet you guessed. The song on the speaker was “ Sledgehammer” by Peter Gabriel! Remember the video I referenced with that fun 🤪 post? It isn’t going away is it? I just laughed to myself as usual while making a mental note to include it today. Another truth in the store that day. 🤭

OK, now onto yet another topic as one that seems to keep coming lately and that is ~~~MORE podcasts. I recently found out about this YouTube channel called “ The Masters of Wrestling” and they also have a podcast show. Its name is “ The Ultimate Truth Podcast.” The host~ Master Emir is a huge fan. My goodness, I find it all so very interesting. Whether one agreed or not with anything UW or W did, he still remains relevant~~~ even after all these years later. So far, I listened to a few episodes and each is a 1/2 hour, maybe a little longer. They interview several people who knew Warrior post wrestling like some graduates of his school~ “ Warrior University.” Steve Wilton, (who I’ve written about many times) was Warrior’s former manager and he is also a guest. Lots of topics presented including projects Warrior worked on and even those ones as fans we dislike discussing or thinking about. They are mentioned by these guys from a different yet honest perspective. I will let you know as more subjects get shared with those Warrior knew. They are all about the truth and Warrior would be so proud.

Another truth be told here and that is this year of 2026. I was going to wait until it gets a little closer to WrestleMania season but ah well. It gets shared today. 30 years ago was 1996 so pretty soon~~~ all of UW’s WM’s will be in their 30s. I’m not listing all their dates and anniversaries this year as it is so much to constantly put out there. I will however, mention the BIG milestones of 2️⃣ when the time nears. UW made a huge return in 1996 after a 3 1/2 year absence but only stayed in the (then) WWF until late summer. What were all you doing 30 years ago if old enough to be reading? That’s crazy to think about but time moves forward, doesn’t it?

Sticking with this theme for a moment, another truth is that the WWE hosted their annual Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia last Saturday with SmackDown the night before. So fascinating being an earlier time, but I’m curious to know more about fans who attended. It would be very cool to be live in an event but with everything streaming now, I’d save my money at least for closer venues. Another first with WWE going outside of the U. S. for a big show like the Royal Rumble which sets up for WrestleMania. I’m not listing results but I do check sometimes just to stay in the loop a little. Some performers I just don’t care for although others enjoy them. That person can be the sweetest in real life as I wouldn’t know really but their character just bothers me, ha ha ha! I’ve watched a few matches with certain people in the past and not just the good “faces” either. Rebranding is quite common these days and it’s a lot to keep up with. I applaud those fans (like my brother) included who do. I know some, not all details and I’m fine with that. We can all be fans in our own ways, of course.

So, there’s my truth on that today. I hope all of you can honor your own truth, even though it might be hard to face at times. I appreciate honesty as it’s easier to deal with instead of sugarcoating or actual fabrications. What we choose to believe is ours to believe but it’s always important to get those facts straight if you can. I try my best with these writings I bring your way while adding some details for privacy sometimes. Just own your truth because nobody else can or will. Be real and authentic and the right ones will know. They might not like it, but at least you had the guts bringing it forward.

You may not have a blizzard, song, or even a podcast preaching truth but reality is what it is. Time brings all this to life, so we can express our truths to the world for that is what we should do. Indiana for the WIN!🏈❤️🤍

That title is encompassing many things today as I close out January but first, I’ll share some info of last week. Below you will find that happy photo of Warrior taken from an interview ( on TV probably?) back in 1998. He was in the WCW then and the interviewer asked a question about his face paint. He made a joke which I loved! You can find that clip along with many others on the WWE vault YouTube channel. The video is called: “ Amazing Ultimate Warrior footage found in the WWE vault.” That’s a mouthful to say… It was released in December and is 27:08 in length. I mentioned it already but there you have the specifics today. Some footage I had seen prior but much was new. Head on over and check it out if feeling inspired!

Now, let’s get into Indiana and the WIN! I did use the word Indy several years back pertaining to that certain race in Indianapolis every year, but never Warrior’s state fully. It is also his oldest daughter‘s name and he did attend Indiana State for one year so was a Hoosier! That football team recently won the National College Championship game against Miami and had an undefeated season. No, I did not just want them to win because of Warrior (readers know me better) but also because it was the * FIRST* time in school history that the Hoosiers won a championship. I’m always for teams that never or rarely win. Can you tell how that is also an Ohio reference?

Here’s some fun and interesting connectors with me and that historic win. The team resides in Bloomington where my book publishing company is located. It is about 1.5 hours from Crawfordsville where Warrior grew up. Yep, had to look that up again as I did years ago but still super cool to know. The Hoosiers one by 6️⃣ which as many know is one of my “special” numbers that follow me around so welcome back old friend… 🥰 Another cute reference is this: My daughter loves the band ABBA as yes she is into “older” music even though she’s almost 20. I can’t remember if she was playing a certain song lately in the house but I do remember it playing while riding with her in the car. It was “ Fernando” , which is the name of Indy’s quarterback who ironically is from Miami! Soooo, a few days before this big game, I woke up with a song in my head. I bet you can guess which one! Yes, readers it was “ Fernando.” Not sure if it was my girl’s activities or maybe a premonition of sorts. I do get those ya know so I can’t be totally sure but do I wonder? You bet I do! Ah, I love it. 🎤

I wanted to look up the meaning behind a Hoosier actually. What prompted this was a similarity with my son’s college of Akron here in Ohio. They are The ZIPS, which also confuses some. They do have a mascot~ Zippy the 🦘 kangaroo, but many aren’t sure of what a ZIP is? It was shortened from Zippers long ago as part of a contest the school head back in the 1920s. It is talked about often because most schools have animal names or something similar but not Ohio and Indy being one state away. That state proximity is part of a chapter in my book as it fits here so I had to plug it! You can find “ Spirit and Belief” 📗 on Amazon and other book outlets.

Back to the Hoosiers, there are MANY stories that pertain to how the name originated but it did tie in with woodsman who had grit and resilience. Warrior epitomized those words fully I believe as many in that area were either farmers or worked in factories. That I knew. The story surrounding the Hoosier origin are in great detail and since not just one could be adapted with the state~~~ towns people kept ones they liked. You can look them up as I did not know but it made me think of our ZIPS with another compelling background.

Our two states have much in common but never have any of the sports teams in Ohio finished with zero losses in a season so they beat us on that. These nailbiter games are exciting but I did leave the room for a bit. I rarely watch the college bowl games but this year, I did. My family of course doesn’t know the Warrior connection to Indiana~~~ but it doesn’t matter. They know my other reasons though, as to why I root for some teams over others~~~ including the pros. None of the pro football teams won that weekend who I wanted so I just had to have the college team win, right? They did just that even though it could’ve gone either way.

I do hope Warrior in his “ Terrain of Testament” witnessed or was made aware in some form of his Hoosier’s big win as I bet he’d be super excited to know. I can share that enthusiasm with him definitely. 😉 If any of your readers watched, I can only imagine your emotions too even if you were a fan of Miami. It’s always super tough to lose in front of your home field, but it happens. The state of Indiana DESERVED that win as Miami has several. I can’t help but be biased. Remember my post on the Ohio State buckeyes winning last year and the signs I received then? This time wasn’t the same but signs nonetheless.

Who could’ve guessed I would write an entire post on a college football game, but I did. Originally, I said no that would be too much but it just transpired so I hope you enjoyed it. Next week is February already with a big anniversary of sorts coming up for my husband and I. You’ll have to stay tuned on that. Well, I probably won’t care too much but will have to check on team stats to see who I will pick as it gets closer. Way to go Hoosiers, you earned that trophy! 🏆 And, the Royal Rumble is this weekend, but we were all about football today.

Mall Merch Madness

Hey there warriors and welcome back to another week here on these writings. I have noticed lately how many are finding and reading older posts from YEARS ago now so as always~~~ I thank you for the ultimate support and hope it all inspires you! Some I will remember from just a title or even a photo, but then others~~~ not so much. I’m forever grateful to those who TRULY read and enjoy my point of view on here.

Today, I slam into the topic of merch once again as a few ideas needed to be brought forward to share with you all. I had another dream not too long ago that involved LOTS of UW merch in a mall although no actual stuff was bought by me. I also never received my care package that I thought was coming my way from “ The Wrestling Collector” store so we shall see… 🤔 I remembered to share that with you all if I did get anything but unfortunately, I have not, boo. 😒

In this dream though, I was at a mall looking nothing like any of ours nearby so that is very typical. No true idea on why I was there but I went into this store which had merch everywhere! Not “ The Wrestling Collector” but it could’ve been a sports or sporting goods store, not so sure. I had to stop and just stare for yet another time that seemed to be forever. Near the back of the store, they had this huge wall with just Ultimate Warrior merch. My title fits today but the podcast guys DID do an episode all about “merch madness” so I took a little of that for the mall dream. That wall seemed to jump out at me as I stared at everything and to anything related to Ultimate Warrior. I think they were profiling different wrestlers with that wall of merch as it was a huge display. I finally did leave the store to walk around but then came back to see if anyone was purchasing UW merch as a few were. It seemed to be a massive collection of sorts. That’s exactly why I shared a pic of some collectibles from one of my magazines. I guess I found another as it connects, right? Anyways, always great references to UW and dreams without him actually being there. I take it all and love it all. 💙

I’m moving to a little bit different arena for a moment but it still does get roped in with merch. Any UW fans will love this site which shows AI doctored videos of the TRUTH behind many stories we hear over the years. It’s called: “ Next Century Wrestling” and the videos are on their YouTube channel but they also have a website. If you purchase any of the UW merch, a portion of the sales goes to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital which is a great cause absolutely. The guy who started it is a good friend of Warrior’s friend Peter so he is doing an ultimate job with sharing all this unseen or unknown footage of interviews. I have watched them all so far with more to come in the future.

It debunks myths, false stories, and many negative portrayals of UW over the years, so please check it out if you were or are a huge fan. You won’t be disappointed. Every episode is different as some are 20 minutes or so as some are close to 45 but all under an hour. I think there’s an email list you can also sign up for reminders of when new content will be released so if you feel compelled, spend some time looking at the site. I KNOW Warrior himself would love all this to continue his legacy while promoting the TRUE stories behind the scenes. I’ll link the site at the end as I am a myth buster myself, can you tell? Anytime I get UW info, I like to send it all your way for you to check on yourself and go from there…

Oh, this is not merch related but I called into my “ 80’s wrestling the podcast” (mentioned earlier with the store connection) last week. It was all about Gorilla Monsoon as I shared some funny personal stories and one especially about my daughter. I still laugh at it today. 😂🤣 I’m on close to the 19 minute mark for about 8 minutes or so. It was a great tribute to him and as always, I provide some good laughs along the way. There… Kind of like last week of homework so now you have a few more sites to check out about Warrior or wrestling as us fans will always keep that merch madness going in whatever way we can. It may not be actual merchandise per se, but all our memories, gear, wrestling moments, and everything in between will be part of our madness forever. You might not have a dream with a giant mall superstore but you will have your own little piece of fandom that will only be kept in your heart. I hope it brings you more joy instead of frustration but it all goes together as that tag team so who wins? You get to decide that readers.

Class is in Session 📝📚

I know kiddos have gone back to classes in school but it kinda does get “roped” in today. There’s a couple of topics being brought to you readers this week as I always thank you for being part of these writings. First off, yesterday marked 1️⃣2️⃣ years since it was announced that the Ultimate Warrior would be the first inductee into the 2014 WWE HOF class. Yes, I will always remember as a mention on here. Warrior was definitely “schooled” with being back into the WWE after an 18 year absence but he also self taught himself much through the years. That photo below shows him after his ultimate win at WMVI since no man was ever allowed to hold both titles simultaneously. Another moment to celebrate as he graduated by besting Hulk almost 36 years ago.

Let’s stay with Warrior and the subject of school just a minute here. A few weeks ago, I had another dream as they are not as frequent anymore. In this dream, Warrior was teaching a class all about his disciplines, beliefs, and how he looked at life. If any remember~~~ I had a similar one years back with Dana carrying on his legacy as well. Warrior looked like he did during the HOF weekend of being inducted into another class of sorts. I attended his class in the dream (of course!) and was so thrilled seeing him in his element with speaking to the students. Many seemed way younger than me but it didn’t matter. In some dreams, I am able to pose with him for a photo, get his autograph, or even engage in a hug but guess that didn’t happen this time around. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The classroom seemed to fill up as I took notes feverishly while trying to keep up with his ways. I was so excited to be there while anticipating the next class. Wait a sec here.. *** I had to PAUSE as I noticed my right ear ringing. 💙Thank you Warrior as I share this dream… *** The following session was upon me but when entering, I noticed another instructor at the head of the class. I asked her why Warrior was not here and she replied that he decided to not teach anymore. WHAT??? I was crushed as she offered no other explanation. Some people were snickering but I wasn’t sure if that was directed at me or otherwise. How would this woman continue HIS messages and did she know him? I never knew any of that but then all got set to head outside for something and I recall climbing downstairs. Still feeling bummed, I then remembered I had his email address! That was a way to contact Warrior and find out more info. The dream seemed to end there with me thinking of how to email him while going outdoors with that younger group of kids who *DID* make a few age comments towards me. I didn’t care as I could contact Warrior later. No clue on if I continued in that class, but my guess is NO…

I obviously can’t email him now, but I have other ways of connecting with him. It was great just to see him in that format~~~ although briefly as I treasure them all. 😌

Another project or concept ended by Warrior was his relationship with Andrew William Wright who profiled him for a bit in 2004 to 2005. Recently, I received an email from a guy who wanted access to any of those old videos which I did save but then Andrew must’ve taken them down. I loved this one of Warrior just speaking in the hotel room as he mentioned music which connected for me. I did email the guy back and as always I thank anyone for checking out my blog or asking questions that I try to answer. That class ended too but another mystery as to the WHY~~~ however Warrior always had his reasons…

This last class mentioned if you will is yet * ANOTHER* person still thinking I am Warrior’s wife although in his email he never alluded to her name of Dana. It was just repeated as “ honoring your husband.” His name however, is Dino Ruggiero who is the owner of The Official Wrestling Museum so feel free to check them out with the website of the same name. I’ll link it again at the end. There’s LOTS of legit content on there as I am not “roped” in on many wrestling related sites and or events. Dino was asking ME ( as he thought I was Warrior’s wife) if W could be inducted with this year’s new class of their Hall of Fame. What a great honor as many many legends have also been recipients. He sends the certification, you or the person accepting on your behalf poses for a photo with the paper, and they post on their site. He was very nice about explaining, as I *WAITED* to tell him who I truly was. I would LOVE to do this on behalf of getting the Ultimate Warrior into their HOF but I am unfortunately not qualified with “their” criteria. I wished him luck as he did say he tried responding to a few Instagram photos, so Dana must’ve seen his notes, right? 😬

Hopefully, in the near future she will know this is a real place and many of Warrior’s former colleagues are in as well. I should keep in touch to see if she does post a photo. Again though, *MY* name is listed right at the top of every blog post as the author of the book “ Spirit and Belief” 📗 so perhaps people just bypass that info, I really don’t know. 🫤

Warriors, this has been quite the “schooling” lately as both my kids started back to college this week too. Get back to class so you also can learn all you can in whatever form that takes. Here’s the site of Dino’s for any wanting to find it.

Happy January Intentions… 👏🏻👍🤍

Here we are warriors in this new year of 2026 as I wish the happiest of days ahead to all of you. I hope you’re all well and getting back into regular routines once again! I missed writing and there’s so much to share today. Let’s begin with a * BIG* milestone of January for me. It has been 10 years now when my Warrior dreams all started back in 2016. They were very frequent and continued for a while. Those beginnings were told in my book 📗 but they originated on here. Come October, these writings will also mark that double digit as I am so excited yet humbled always… 🥹 Remember last year when I changed that word of resolutions to goals? Well, this year is more about intentions as that word fits without tons of pressure.

We always need to do things with right minded or good intentions, correct? I sure hope you do as Warrior did too. The end result might not be exactly the ultimate win but at least we start off trying our best. FINALLY, I will say this though. I still receive multiple emails and or phone calls from book marketers but one guy actually acknowledged Warrior by name! That has never happened before. Everyone begins with those good intentions but they still might receive that dreaded “ no thanks.” This guy probably not knew who Warrior was but at least gave his part in all this a mention. The other topics highlighted included dreams, meditation, intuition, other signs, and a celebrity connection. So, someone along the way DID read my book because of specifics listed. He said I was relatable with my humility and spirituality. I will always take those compliments. 🙏🏻

He had good intentions but not the end result which is OK because then we just go another route. We all do. Let this new year and month bring you choices with many options. I’ve only used a month name in two other posts so here’s my three count! I will mention the photo below as it was my intention to start brand new but this one is not. I did use that clip of “ The Brother Love Show” in the past but not a close-up so here it is today. Another close-up I noticed over the break was of UW at the ‘ 87 Slammy Awards as part of a song number. How had I not ever picked up on THIS but he is holding a sledgehammer! Who remembers my story on that? It was in my top posts of the year. I laughed 😂 so hard on that image while connecting it to my scenario with the casket of a few years after those Slammys. The sledgehammer returns just in a different way! 🤭

Back to intentions as boy, this is a goodie from Christmas time. We have these reindeer 🦌 lights I put on a small table and they play a few songs while lighting up. It’s super cute and I’ve had it a long time. It has a battery in it and you just press the button on or off. One night, my husband and I were watching a classic holiday cartoon that was always one of my favorites as my daughter had a friend over to make ornaments. The son was working so he was not a witness. While I’m singing along to those fun songs in the movie, all of a sudden~~~ the reindeer lights started playing! 😳

I yelled in the other room to my daughter as I thought for sure she reached out of the doorway and turned them on to be funny. I find out later she did not and would not have done that. I can’t assume anything and maybe the battery acted up, who knows? GET THIS though~~~ my husband actually said: “ could that have been spirits or something?” WHAT??? Here’s this guy again surprising me with a comment like that. Christmas is a magical time and electronics as loyal readers know are easy for spirits to manipulate. I wanted a good intention here so decided to meditate on this a little. Do I believe there was a malfunction with the lights? Nope. I DO have my way sometimes of getting information so you can believe what you wish on this. Let’s just say~~~ I always believe after of course connecting other dots or bouncing off all four corners of my squared circle. To think I almost gave them away… I never will now. They are put away to be used in our new home but I paused a little while packing them in the box. 📦

This last good intention concerns an episode of my guys over at “ 80’s wrestling the podcast.” They titled 12/ 18/25 as “ Merch Madness.” Check it out if you’re interested wherever you get your podcasts. I’m on around the 58 minute mark discussing my UW action figure story and cereal box images both told in my book “Spirit and Belief.” I was so grateful to share my humor with the guys and listeners as I received many compliments. They love me, ha ha! 🩷

I always have good intentions when I call in because my stories will never equate with theirs! The following week I called in as well right before Christmas but that was just a few trivia questions. Here’s the funny part. They were playing ads or TV commercials from the ol’ WWF years and you had to guess. I knew a couple but then I was last. They saved the final audio for me and the host SWEARS it was just in random order. Best for last of course! I knew from the beginning as it was one of the first pics I used last year to start 2025. Those “ Slim Jim” commercials where UW was the first spokesman before they switched to Randy Savage who became more iconic. I still see Randy’s image at gas stations or convenient stores with Slim Jim sometimes. Very glad I called in for that one! We’ll see what the guys pull out of the vault this year, which also marks a milestone. It will be 5️⃣ years almost that I’ve been listening to them. I hope they do a great anniversary show.

It’s the end of 2025 warriors with my last post of the year and what an ultimate one it will be. Today, though is my husband‘s birthday so we will celebrate him later. 🥳 Also, this month is all of Warrior’s girls with December being their birth month along with my mom on Christmas Eve. Whew~~~ that’s a lot. Yep, Warrior and I both married a Sagittarius! You’ll see him ⬇️ for my last photo this year as Dingo. I couldn’t edit to make it “Christmasy” so that’s what you get as I wrap up all my writings to end until January. There have been 50 posts this year! What a nice round number. It all started with number 400 early on and all the way to now. Thank you to all who read, follow, like, or even subscribe to my writings. I wish everyone a fun and relaxing last few weeks and new year of 2026.

I’ll begin by asking what any of you thought of John Cena’s final match on SNNE last Saturday. I do not have Peacock so had to watch clips on YouTube. Gunther is a brute and I expected a little more offense from Cena. I kinda expected the outcome but I think it could’ve gone a little better for fans. Great to see all the talent and legends there to support him as well. He’s an amazing guy and wrestler so only fitting that he would get such a tremendous sendoff. He will be missed in the ring but I’m sure has lots of projects in the works. John has been so very dedicated to WWE and I loved this quote of him from an interview. “ My skills can’t match the product.” So very humbling to say that. Warrior alluded to similar words too in his HOF speech to the roster of talent.

Let’s get into my tradition now of listing the MOST memorable posts for the year. I picked 6 because well, that number makes sense! Seriously though, I did not know at all until making my notes. There are 3 honorable mentions because we need a 3 count, right? A few I stayed away from as I was too angry then and didn’t want to end the year like that. I also did not choose “ I will Always…” concerning the 11 years of Warrior’s passing. It was not overly sad but I just wanted to concentrate on others. I had to write about the 35th anniversary of WMVI as 2 more Warrior WM’s will have their milestones in 2026. Hulk Hogan‘s passing (with my tribute) and my yard with 52 Bluejay feathers was in the same post as that truly filled me with joy and then comfort… 🥹

So many good ones, where to start? Honestly readers, I did look at my entire list this year as many always stand out as some do not. LOTS of great ones as I can be a little biased, but I should be! No to need to explain but with those titles, feel free to look up on your own if you missed any. Also, if you have extra time during my two weeks off, catch up on old posts to relive memories I wrote about this year. I still could’ve picked a few more to add to that list but I think those topped it and became winners as this year long match comes to a close. Oh, and the BIG winner that remained at the top of the stats was “ Family Business Banter.” A great read too from several years back. “ The Mysterious Batteries” and “ Disciplines of Destrucity” also remained much viewed. I actually had a little dream a few weeks ago of explaining “ Destrucity” to my daughter as I was showing her Warrior’s 8 disciplines from the first comic book! He was not part of it but his beliefs were. I’ll take that tag from him anytime.

Another newbie to add this year, even though it wasn’t a post technically is the new spiritual app I began using back in August. It’s still frequents my time for a few moments, a few times a week. I love playing around with ideas and keeping track of my notes although more has to be deleted from my phone storage! It has provided me with more clarity which is one of the C words I have been working on. We’ll see what 2026 holds but I’m always inspired by the content. Hard to believe that this week marks 4 months but I did take some time off just to regroup a little and organize my thoughts.

I actually want to end with this today. Last week on “ 80’s wrestling the podcast” it was all about Wrestling Biographies so I did call in once again around the 20 minute mark. I was referencing my brother’s books ( and of course the one I own on Warrior) , but then randomly brought up my own which guess I never did before!!! The hosts were very interested and then of course I had to do a shout out to this blog as well. I really did think I had brought it up, but they said NO!!! Tommy Fierro also turned into Santa 🎅🏼 by sending a Christmas gift package to all the callers! More on that in a later post but I was very overwhelmed and touched. I can’t wait to hear their thoughts on my book 📗 as I can answer any questions they send my way. Always will I do my best in making my experiences relatable to all.

Well, that’s a wrap warriors for 2025. I can’t forget another post that is worth the read called “ Stomp out the Dust.” It concerns the word NOUS… Sounds intriguing, right? I do wish you all a wonderful season however you celebrate, and with whomever you celebrate. Take some time for YOU as well since we deserve to care for ourselves too. Initiate THEN Integrate 💪🏻

It’s Warrior Wednesday so I am here to start a new match with all you readers today. I hope you’re getting into this season of giving and receiving while bringing kindness to all you do. I’m not specifically writing a Christmas post this year but as always~~~ many memories of the past to fondly look upon while creating new ones. This month, however marks 1️⃣0️⃣ years since I began a daily meditation practice. 🧘‍♀️ Oh my goodness, double digits now on that. I have shared my beginnings on how that evolved in an interesting way but so grateful to still integrate it every day. Warrior did meditate also years ago…

Great way to lead into my title as UW paces down below in that photo before a match. Another word resurfacing in different media for me and integration wouldn’t leave for whatever reason. It’s quite possibly because these words are meant to be discussed on here so this is what I do. Sometimes I only have one idea and then like magic, 🪄 it all tags in. We can connect with ideas started as initiating somehow and then getting it integrated for a consistent practice. It can be anything you start and then after a bit, it becomes part of you. That’s how fitness also began for me as it did for Warrior when in high school.

Sometimes when we initiate something, it might not work out the way we had anticipated. This can be like planning an activity with a friend, (been there) hosting a party, as I am getting frustrated with THAT coming soon for Christmas Eve, 🤦🏻‍♀️ or even sending a text to someone. The response back may be exactly what we were hoping but then again~~~ it could be the opposite. I’m sure all of you have found yourselves in similar situations. Our reactions do not need to define us and yet somehow, they do at times. We integrate them into our being as it all becomes part of us. If you feel it is a negative feeling you are holding onto, let it go. I just recently heard that song “Let Go” by Firehouse and how fitting for this time of year. Firehouse was a band Warrior listened to often back in his days of being on the road.

Let’s bring another aspect into the ring. UW initiated so much with his character and then put it all into action by integrating spirit, belief, and discipline. Two words in my book 📗title! He used those same aspects in his life as Warrior by embodying what it truly meant to live his destiny. We can all bring our own traits to the mat and then feel them in deeper ways. You have to feel it to heal it as there’s no bypassing the ugly stuff you know. When adults~~~ if we don’t get our way, do we throw ourselves on the floor and plug our ears like a toddler? I surely hope not! We need to deal with situations like grown-ups, while still maintaining our level of integrity and truth. Some do not respect principles or boundaries but us warriors need to stand our ground!!!

You might think I am referencing other states of being here, but that is not the case. By integration, I don’t mean those with split identities and personalities that learn to accept their parts through medication or therapy. Yes, those can be serious mental health issues that need to be addressed but I am meaning other wounded parts of us common to all. Things in our life get started, however or whatever they may be and then within time, they get integrated into wholly being part or within us~~~ never forgotten. They are always still there, possibly buried or hidden but not brought to the surface until ready. You will know when they arrive and if they do, will you be able to be honest about how to best address them? Positives and negatives both.

For me, as loyal readers are aware this has been an ongoing process and one that continues~~~ only in differing ways now. Like I’ve said, acceptance is the victor here because what we resist will persist in some form. We take it all and compartmentalize in our mind where it needs to go. Remember my containers of last week? I didn’t know what to do with all my spiritual learnings, Warrior’s energy, or all these questions constantly coming to light. 😳 No way could there be a container big enough once initiated to then integrate it ALL, could there be? Well, warriors there is and it’s not like another. There are many facets to each one’s journey and we all learn what truly works best for us in time. Warrior had much he wanted to begin as he was always full of ideas ready to be initiated. Some came to fruition, and some did not as that truth resonates for any reading today~~~including me. We integrate a win, loss, new belief, relationships, ups, downs, and in between. All successes and failures.

Our spirit already has that area of our lives figured out but our bodies, minds, and hearts need to catch up with this physical world we live in as humans. It can be difficult trying to see what parts of us will remain, and which will be let go like the song states. “ Take a deep breath, and go with the flow, make it easy on yourself…”Yep, those lyrics fit too. What part of you that began as an initiation of sorts is ready to be fully integrated and what can be set free? We need it all so it won’t just be happy moments, remember. Don’t wallow or spend too long in the negative areas as life needs more joy, so integrate more of that and not just because of the Holidays…

Initiate THEN integrate. Take it all in. See what happens… You might pace a little like UW there, but let go. Your spirit will cover you for the win.

P.S. If I could list an initiation on this spiritual journey with Warrior, it would obviously be 2014 but integration began early 2016. Almost 10 years and still going… ❤️

“ The Caring Containers” 📦🧳💗

Here we are in this last month of 2025 warriors. It went by pretty fast when I think back to what I was writing in January. How has it been going for all of you? Time does slip away with all its highs and lows. I hope this month brings you a sense of peace, compassion, and * CARE* as we approach Christmas with the New Year. UW ⬇️ looks like he’s running into 2026 but I will be here a few more weeks before taking my holiday break. Until then, let’s shake those ropes and gear up today. You might be wondering what this odd title means so it’s up to me clarifying which is what I do…

The word of container popped up or “ran” my way in an email not so long ago with it being depicted metaphorically of course. Metaphors like last week only differently. Plus, just TODAY~~~it was part of my daily Calm with the meditation app. It was called “a gentle container”. How about that? Perfectly fits for today… 🤍 It did keep coming back to my thoughts so now, I will expand on how this fits in my life but always in yours too. Think about a physical container or visualize one if you can. Maybe you see a glass jar, a bottle, plastic jug, or even a flower pot. Yours can even be a box. It could have water in it, another liquid, soil, plants, or other items. Again~~~ anything since it’s yours to fill. Lastly, think about whatever is in it expanding or growing. Does it take on the shape of the container with space to move or is it something stagnant that just rests in its spot? It seems like a science lesson, doesn’t it? It’s all your choice. Will your object occupy the entire container immediately or will there be more to add later on? It’s all up to you readers.

I know with me~~~ I thought of this certain flower pot in my home. It started with tiny indoor succulents 🪴 with room to grow. Then they started sprouting and spreading to fill the entire space. We start small and grow up too. If I would ever transplant them outdoors or in the ground, I’m sure those succulents would expand. These are indoor plants but you get what I’m saying. Plants fill a container just like liquids or soil mentioned earlier. Let’s finally switch this up and tag in something deeper felt. How about within ourselves. Do you have enough space with your personal containers to fill up and do they overflow? We can only take so much until our body needs water, food, rest, alone time, or any of those essentials. If not, our container breaks down in someway.

Here’s another metaphor to consider. When packing a suitcase, if too much is in you will be unable to close it. If it’s too big for the overhead compartment on an airplane, you need to check it. We have to take some out to make room. It’s like cleaning out your closet or dresser drawers. I know I do this often. All that bulk “wearing” us down needs to be donated or sold. Sometimes we buy again but sometimes not. The old has to be pinned down so the new can grow. All carrying containers dealt with by us in our own time.

How about with relationships? We all know this and yet sometimes don’t submit because we always want things the same. Realistically, life isn’t like that warriors but it is hard to face. Our emotions matter and when something is lost or disconnected, do we want it back? We might but then aspects have changed and trust is difficult to gain again. Warrior also knew this and yet our hearts need to remain open because it’s worth the risk. Remember my story of “ The Eyedrops Commercial” years ago? Just when I thought no more tears could come out of my eyes, there they were and much longer than I anticipated after Warrior’s passing. Will we ever run out of 😭 ? Nope, there’s an endless supply just like love in our hearts. We may fight them both but then they reappear whether we accept it or not. We can make room for other caring containers to hold space for those people or ideas that are sacred to us.

Physically, this is much different for obvious reasons. I mean if you’re buying a new couch and have no room for another, the older one has got to go somehow right? You also wouldn’t overfill a glass of water to drink as that’s a big mess. But our hearts and minds will always make room for more love and greater learning because that’s what we are here to do warriors. Love more and learn more however that feels for you.

I bet you can think of so many more examples in your life I’m not listing here. Once Warrior had a family~~~ his own containers, (if you will) opened up to so much more than what he had ever known. It is an ultimate challenge when we are faced with many difficulties in life but we continue on every day filling up, emptying, and beginning again. We may even need to shatter something to pieces in order to grow or let it go if it was never ours to take. It’s like trying to fit a round peg into a square hole. It doesn’t work and forcing only leads to broken containers. We learn our lessons and hopefully move on. What’s meant will find its way to us and I need that daily reminder too. We can’t just give ourselves to anybody to do with what they want but we also can’t isolate so much that our container remains sealed shut… 😕

I hope you readers can connect to my writings today as I haven’t delved deep in a while. With the hustle and bustle of the holidays upon us, maybe we need to re-examine our containers and see which serve as caring and which ones do not. Make these remaining weeks of 2025 matter warriors because like he said, never does it not matter…

***P.S. When I was getting frustrated leaf blowing a week or so ago in my HUGE container of a yard, I found a Bluejay feather on the sidewalk by my house. It was just the caring I needed… Quite possibly the last feather of the season… 💙🥹 The ❄️ is here…

The Ultimate Winding Road… 🌄⛰️🛣️

Hello my warriors! I’m coming to you all a day early today because of a few reasons. They both connect to this upcoming holiday here of Thanksgiving in the US. My “80’s wrestling the podcast” will be tomorrow instead of Thursday and that time is when I write. Sure, I can draft a piece and publish at a later date but honestly~~~ I would forget. I have never done that and really no true need. The other reason is some days my mornings are packed since walking the dog has to get done as well so shuffling this crazy tag team it is! It’s an ultimate winding road to end this month and then next week begins December. Wow… 😮 I do wish all my US readers a Happy Thanksgiving however you celebrate with loved ones. Some of you may have already started Christmas preparations but for me, that will be in a few more days. I have started some shopping though… 🛍️

Next up, the photo you see below. I know, I know, I know. I said how much I disliked AI images but that was referencing REAL doctored photos of UW or W by AI. The “cartoon” or artwork generated is OK and some are truly great. This one was posted by Warrior’s good friend Peter as were several others but I chose that creation. Rarely do I use art or even paintings by others but it’s time to get on that AI train I guess. Many are very close likenesses but real photos altered, I’m still not on board with. You can agree or not, totally up to you but always my opinion with MY writings. Another ultimate winding road of selecting photos every week. I tell ya warriors, I do much planning or research behind the scenes. Warrior always wanted to give credit to those so yes, I do the work too.

Here’s my 3️⃣ count today and was this another ultimate winding road for sure. I will say more like a winding path, but you get my point. I’ll explain. Recently, I received yet another email from a man (this time) who read my book “Spirit and Belief.” 📗 I want to believe he truly did. He also is a literary agent but at least was direct about it. I did respond as once again~~~ I’m not interested in re-branding my book or working with an agent. I have to share a few quotes and then other sentiments included in his email. I’ll start with this: “ … always inviting me to explore deeper corners of my own spirit.” Yes to this! He mentioned my “ reflections on faith and the unseen.” Another YES!!! Here’s a few more I edited: “ … guiding those who are willing to listen to the heartbeat of belief.” Another goodie…

Never once in every time anyone like a critic has ever contacted me have they mentioned Warrior by name or certain specific stories I shared. Nope, NEVER. All that is OK but then I ask what stories resonated with them. I do not receive responses back but at least I make my point. The woman I have referenced really * DID*bring up my spiritual relationship with Warrior, which had never also been sent my way. I was overwhelmed at something not common place to mainstream culture but then her book burning remarks turned me away! 🤬 Here’s a few more statements from Mr. Literary Agent: … “ it beckons the soul to lean closer” AND this final one of : “ Thank you for letting me wander these sacred spaces with you Kathy.” Sure….. Glad to help…. I love all those but he pours it on a little too thick with some other words on this road… er path as he states.

He compared my book to: “ a quiet forest at Dawn,” “ sunlight filtering through the branches,” AND “ soaring over mountains while “ resting by a still lake.”This isn’t a poetry reading class! I loved the lantern metaphor beckoning like a beam of light to doubters (as I paraphrased that one) and being a compass though. Beautifully said to a writer.. .✍🏻 What girl (especially) wouldn’t ❤️ all that prose of poetry describing a book written? Sorry, buddy though~~~ no sell. If I was a teacher and he was in my class, I’d ask him about *SPECIFICS* . Anyone can be those illuminating nature words but where’s my stories in all this? That part is always the missing piece for me as any writer will attest. I understand the need to put yourself out there for business but it’s all a little too much, do you agree? I mean, you aren’t trying to impress a girl to date me here, right? 🫤🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyways, I do LOVE words like that really I do but not in the way they are presented in such fashion. If people take the time to READ my book and want my business, then be honest and direct. Don’t entice me with romantic sounding expressions where I might give a resounding YES! 💞Oh, warriors what a winding path this month has ended upon. Be your OWN compass, lantern, or whatever you wish as you move through this world warriors. May you always listen to your OWN heartbeat of belief…

What’s the Word? 🤭

***A quick mention first. Natayla Neidhart appeared at “The Wrestling Collector” store last night on the 18th, not on the weekend. Sorry, my bad! It was part of my PS last time.

There’s so many words to discuss today but 2️⃣ I need to say are THANK YOU! My numbers on the blog lately have been amazing! I never know how people just find it, look me up, or whatever but much gratitude to you ALL for finding these writings. I hope you continue reading if truly interested or it impacts you in someway. I’m grateful for you all and not just in this month of November. Keep reading loyal warriors. I haven’t seen numbers like that in a while, I am humbled always… 🥹

Another mention I forgot was Veterans Day last week which I’ve done a post on in the past. Warrior respected our vets and did much for them over the years. Just a random pic of him earlier in his WWF time today but I wanted to acknowledge. I have many veterans in my family as I thank them for their service to our great country. It was 11/11 so that is a great spiritual number. I am a master 11 in numerology if anyone follows that. Also, 11 years this year since Warrior’s passing so we have that connection. You don’t have to follow that spiritual path I am on as all numbers are great. Happy belated Veterans Day to any readers today as I thank you all for your service as well… 🇺🇸

So, let’s move onto other words, shall we? I did say I would share what happened with the “ Wrestling Families” podcast episode. The guys always teach me new things so they listed a few I had not thought. What was fun though was a little game we played. “ Family Feud” was my favorite game show for years and like wrestling, it still is around today! I chose the McMahon’s (although they were promoters first) but also for those 4️⃣ generations they embodied. According to a Google poll, they were listed as number 3️⃣ out of 10. Most of mine were on that list with a few others in the mix. Next week is that elusive G.O.A.T. topic. Well, actually tomorrow it will be. That is going to be a loooong episode for sure. I will say UW personally but I have a huge list on that so who knows what each caller will pick. 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

Here’s some more words to share. Recently, a guy on X (or Twitter) commented on one of my posts in a nice way and of course I responded. He admired my “obsession” with Warrior but stated how he could tell there’s true affection. Yes, sir there is, but I did dismiss that word of obsession. I totally * CAN* relate how others feel that way with my writings though. I actually wrote a post on this comparing obsession with passion and the difference. Believe me readers~~~ I KNOW those who have obsessions but in the wrestling forum~~~ many share. Yes, merchandise is a business but then there are others who take it a little too far by my standards. They might not see anything wrong~ however, I can relate photos, videos, or stories shared through groups that are “ kooky.” I will not though. 🙄 That was one of Warriors’s words. I did thank him for reaching out and acknowledged his words. I have defended my actions on this topic but no need to anymore as I know much and it makes sense. Believe as you wish…

This last one concerns a song I have mentioned before. It’s “ Word-Up” by Cameo. Remember my story about changing those 6 letters into 7 to spell Warrior? I was a teenager then! They do spell in the song. Well, my life truly factors in. Just last week, I decided to reread a few older posts that were fun for me. “ Word-Up” was about being at a restaurant and hearing it along with a few other goodies. In high school, the seniors did a skit to that song and I totally remembered. During my workout that day of last week, I asked Alexa to play it so I could dance. I laughed as I’m sure Warrior was too. 😂

Later that evening, my husband and I decided to get sundaes at this ice cream shop I went to often as a kid. We still go there sometimes but it was the anniversary of when we first met. It just happened to be last Wednesday on blog day! We were waiting for our ice cream and they had music playing softly over the speakers. I could BARELY hear it, but then I did! Guess what? Yep, it was “ Word-Up!” Unbelievable… They don’t play that type of music in there. I just said “no way!” to myself over and over while hiding my giddiness from my husband on our special day. 😳 What would be those odds? I tell ya warriors~~~ I can’t make this stuff up. I couldn’t wait to laugh more when alone and just think how my dancing earlier started all that. You better believe I wrote that note down to add with today’s words… 🤣🤣

There ya have it readers. My words for today and boy, were they ultimate! Oh, one more thing. Before going to the ice cream shop, my right ear started ringing. Could that have been a sign??? I do get those kinds of messages, so not entirely sure. I always believe of course. I respond and just say “ thank you for visiting me, whoever you are.” Often I think about what was just happening but this was a future event. Always is it a positive when that occurs so perhaps the universe or Warrior was giving me an “inside scoop?” Pun intended. ~~~ I will connect next week but it might be a few days before the Thanksgiving holiday here~~~ we’ll see.
