“These Dreams Go On…” 😴

Another month is upon us~~~ July. I always loved this time when younger because it was the only month of no school, ha ha! That’s still applies to my kids but tomorrow here in the U.S. brings our Independence Day. I love fireworks 🎆 🎇🧨 always, but it scares our furry dog friends~ including mine. However you celebrate and if you do, stay safe. Happy birthday America! 🇺🇸 ❤️🤍💙Today though is my sometimes partner in crime’s birthday~ my brother. 🥳🎉 This year so far I wrote on my dad’s 80th, my daughter’s 18th, and now my bro’s! No milestone for him but yet another family birthday. I’ve had many other dates that fall on blog day and it continues.

The dreams continue as well, although not as frequent as before. I used part of a lyric above from the group “Heart” as music connects for me, regulars know this. A little while back 2️⃣ dreams came so I will share those today. They both showed different times in Warrior’s life but went in reverse. The first one was how he looked 10+ years ago, but the second one was probably mid 1996 with his long blond hair. I was there for both as the first one concerned an interview Warrior gave about his career. Not sure who was interviewing him, but I was nearby.

I can’t recall any specific questions, but I do know what Warrior said afterwards. He was questioning some of his answers, asking:” Did I say too much?” “I probably did, didn’t I?” “I rambled on, I shouldn’t have said all that…” Well, even though he said a few of those statements~ it all depends on what was being asked, I believe. Sometimes he would go on (as I tend to do…🤭) but then other times, he wouldn’t over share and that’s OK too. Warrior was always honest so perhaps he would not have regretted his answers but that’s what I heard while listening on the side~~~backstage if you will. That was the gist of the dream but we do tend to critique ourselves as I KNOW Warrior did during his final RAW speech too, but not sure of what was asked of him in this dream. I was glad to have been there witnessing one of his many interviews later on after he left the business and could contribute his own brand of speaking.

The second dream, I was more involved with. I wanted so badly to find a pic to use with a similar look of Warrior’s then, as I know I have seen a few. They were probably part of several workout videos he had put out there but I failed to find exactly the specifics of him wearing a white sweatshirt, red bandana, (like the workout vids) and had his long blond hair pulled back.

We were both sitting at a long table going through paperwork for some reason. The funny part is~ once again, my real life here intervenes. A few weeks ago, a friend of mine posted an old pic several years back of me sitting around our bonfire during the book club days. It was on Instagram. I had on a sleeveless red shirt as it was summer *** AND*** I was wearing that shirt in this dream! It actually started quite a different way. At first, it was me and my mom in my childhood home looking at old black-and-white family photos like a collage. Maybe that came to me because of my daughter’s project. She has been assembling a collage with all of her friends high school memories and it’s quite the task . I applaud and admire her efforts despite this crazy summer.

So, maybe those influenced my paperwork dream with Warrior, who knows? 🤷🏻‍♀️I could see him looking through much, handing it to me, signing stuff, etc. No idea what it all was about and no recollection of any convos either. I was obviously involved along with him in this project, and we seemed to keep it moving quickly! We were on a mission, that’s for sure. Think more like signing documents, not autographs. 🤔☺️

Well, there you have it warriors on this first post in July. 2️⃣ dreams showing Warrior in different aspects of his life with me “tag teaming” in, sort of. They were great to be part of since believe it or not, dreams are becoming quite rare these days. I know his energy is always there but we have evolved and as much as I miss those kinds of dreams, it is what it is. I did however, happen across a Bluejay feather last week on Wednesday~ yay! AND it was the day of an energy healing session for me. It was beautiful to receive because I decided on another practitioner of late and was a combo of nerves and excitement. 😬😁

As it turned out, she was adorable! She listened to me as I told my story, ( of course she became fascinated…😏) and I even showed her in the shop where a few of my books were. She is writing one too! Every day she comes into the store, she notices my book with its pop of color. 💚🩷🧡I received the sweetest compliments from her despite not really pursuing the author lifestyle. She pointed out my vulnerability and opening up to even write such stories so that touched my heart. It’s not a baby book anymore so hearing those words made me light up. 💡I will probably see her again and not just for the kind words. What a beautiful soul she is and we bonded over many things. 🤍

*** Until next week, keep your dreams close warriors and happy July! Oh, my book: ” Spirit and Belief” is out there wherever you purchase if interested! 📗 It explores the beginnings of following Warrior’s career in wrestling, dreams, and this spiritual connection I have. Lots of good stuff with short ‘lil diary type stories that I hope inspire any of you! 🥰👏🏻💪🏻

P.S. I was also called : ” a beautiful ray of sunshine.” ☀️ 🥹😉

I’ll take it as I love summer, ha ha!

Be your OWN Storyteller…

All right, you caught me. I am using another bodybuilder pic for the second week, but I have to say this. When first deciding how I could finally get into that topic just a bit, the photo I thought of initially was that one below of Jim Hellwig, (a.k.a. Warrior) once again only this time on the cover of a magazine. Bodybuilding began his storytelling if you will, although chiropractic school garnered his interest as well. After that, it became pro wrestling. What a story he had and told but we all can do this, just in our own way. What makes a good storyteller? I sure hope you think I am with bringing you this content but today, I am highlighting another area here.

As years went by, Warrior began to use his voice more than his body and to me became that much more powerful. If you’ve seen any of his video work, you’ll know but that’s not what I’m referencing exactly. I love his stories but it’s *** HOW*** he came across to audiences that made a lasting impact. The people who were there heard him share the intensity, discipline, and lessons that made his life work. OK, sometimes there would be yelling or 🤬 but honestly- ( without being biased,) I could listen to him for hours. He just had such a compelling voice that I truly believed resonated with interested people. For those unfamiliar, just LISTEN for a bit. Even if I had never known him as a wrestler, I would be captivated by his storytelling.

I have written about my former book club leader Pam who is another one of these people. She had this way with words that would totally just make me melt. I had given several talks over the years and was always complimented, but I can’t hold a candle to these very gifted ones. Pam along with Warrior knew how to carry a room with just the power of their voices that generated such stories. My interest was held and still is. I wish Pam well in her retirement down in Tampa, Florida. I miss her. My spiritual mother that I truly needed… ❤️‍🩹

Another woman who had been mentioned mostly on my older blog about spirituality was Louise Hay. She founded “Hay House” and their smaller company of “Balboa Press” published my book- ” Spirit and Belief.” Oh look, another plug. I had to have a 3 count! 📗 Louise was a pioneer and truly helped so many people with her generosity, programs, and gifted healers. Even if you disagree or are skeptic, just listen to one of her many, many videos out there or read her books. You won’t walk away disappointed but lifted and energized. Her voice (like I believe I’ve said before) just makes me wanna curl up in her lap~~~ in a good way of course. She was another beautiful storyteller and had such a fascinating life. Feel free to look her up if wanting spiritual insight or just to hear a positive voice which may draw you in…

The last person I’m writing about today is brand new to the blog, but he came to me so we get two guys and two gals. This man I had met as a teen through church. No fretting, this is not meant to be religious at all so keep going with me. Deacon Stan would always blow me away with his preaching and I loved when he was a co-presider. Another wonderful storyteller with a transcending voice that made me pay attention better during a service. From age 5 to 95, he related to everyone. It didn’t matter the topic of discussion, I could’ve stayed in that pew for longer than an hour as I do believe he did give other talks to different groups. Fast forward many years later as we had changed churches. He gets assigned to the parish we originally belonged to! It’s complicated but we were back there and here he was. I was so excited to be part of his talks once more as an adult with kids of my own. Again, despite the religious part of all this, he still could hold a congregation with his soft demeanor, yet fair sounding voice. His stories mentioned family, personal experiences, and bringing a Creator into the conversation. He could’ve read or talked about anything and I’d be hooked. Remember that expression of : “he could read the phone book!” That doesn’t stand today but you get my point I’m sure.

Deacon Stan became ill and eventually passed away several years ago now. He was so young to me… 😞 I no longer attend any type of religious service but still did back then. I cried for days knowing we’d be without such a profound storyteller. 💔 I can only imagine him using his talent up above to captivate audiences still. His voice was just like Warrior, Pam, and Louise, who were able to bring their stories to life where others could not dismiss or ignore~~~ despite some possible resistance. Yes, 3 out of these 4 have passed on but will forever be remembered for the impact they made with their voice, actions, and storytelling. Do you know people like this? I hope you do and treasure what they bring forth.

*** My daughter is part of this post yet again because of her recent storytelling which made me well up. 🥹🥲 She decided to write letters to all her good friends as they graduated a few weeks ago. She did not tell any of them about her act, but wanted to say goodbye on her own terms for their high school years together. I hope her friends keep the letters she wrote of remembering all the stories they shared. I was overwhelmed by the desire to let her good friends know how much they meant to her. Writing is storytelling too, just in a different voice. ✍🏻

***On Father’s Day (like several years past,) it would’ve been Warrior’s 65th birthday. No big b-day post for him this year but that’s OK. We will be on vacation like 2 years ago for Father’s Day but not intentional. I’m taking next week off while we visit Michigan for a few days. We loved it there when my son graduated and now returning, only to a new area as my daughter just ended her high school years too. Her graduation was a beautiful night with many stories we will always treasure. I have said to tell your stories, however that looks whether you use your voice or the written word. You don’t have to be like Warrior, Pam, Louise, or Deacon Stan. Be the teller of YOUR stories so YOUR legacy will be felt by others willing to know it.

P.S. Catch up on past posts while I’m gone! HBD Warrior and happy Dad’s day to you always. 🩷🩷This ends the 6 months of year 10 with his birthday always culminating around now. 💙I miss him but his spirit is around everyday…

*** Get this~~~ I was at the store the other day copying photos to use for my daughter’s graduation party and the total came to $6.16. With tax the total came to $6.66. That can be a SCARY number to some but it’s me and my 6’s coming back once again… PLUS Warrior’s bday… 😉🫢 If I had added one more photo, I would not have had that total. I received a receipt totaling $6.16 a few years ago close to Warriors’s birthday as well. I always get a sign… How fitting now though that it was when I was making copies from my girl’s beautiful graduation 👩🏻‍🎓 night… 🥹 6️⃣6️⃣6️⃣

From Skinny to Strong 💪🏻💙

Welcome to June warriors! Summer☀️ will officially be here in my area later this month as it’s my favorite season. I told ya I’d be using some newer pics on here once again so as you can see down below, we have a young junior bodybuilder named Jim Hellwig, aka- Warrior. Yes, I can finally relate to *** THIS*** topic just a little as that part of Jim’s career was off-limits to me. If I can’t connect, it doesn’t get written as you readers know. Now, however, I have a story. I’m quoting from my book: “Spirit and Belief” for the second week because well, this story comes right after the tattoo one of last time. I had to look it all up since I couldn’t remember but how awesome to have a story about my daughter and my son in a row~~~ not planned. That story is called: ” My Skinny Strong Warrior” from chapter 24.

To rewind just a little, several years ago my husband bought our kids a beginners workout bench to use. I thought at the time it would get ignored and at first, it did not. After a bit though, it did as he eventually gave it away. 😟 The novelty wore off but I so enjoyed seeing them put it together. Here’s part of the story I wrote back then: ” My son seems so young and yet I was reminded of Warrior who was around this same age when he began lifting weights.” My son at that time was 12 and is now 20. 😳 I continue on with this: ” I hope he develops a consistent practice so his interest peaks more and more. This young man of ours might be finding his destiny just like another skinny kid did back in the day.” Well, he is finally more so doing just that- only 8 years later…

This final semester in college he had gotten a new roommate briefly. His one friend transferred back closer to home, so the new guy hailed from Maryland! Why he is studying in Ohio, I still am not sure 🤔 but we were told he is an amateur weightlifter. He had piqued my son’s interest and gave him some pointers. Some of those ideas I had given years ago but it’s always different coming from a peer and not a parent. When our guy got home for his summer break, he started using my husband’s workout bench as I just SIGHED knowing we had given away the other one. Nowadays, you can download a Fitness app to your phone or watch YouTube videos which is what he is doing. Times have changed, haven’t they?

Lately, he’s been slacking but began running 🏃🏻, playing more basketball while working up a good sweat 🏀, and then finishing with weights 🏋🏻‍♀️. He also improved his diet but by being home eating Mom’s meals and packing a lunch more, it helps. No more of McDonald’s 🍔🍟 while working all the time, heck no! He’s even lost a few pounds so it’s turning into muscle. Is he into bodybuilding? No, but is definitely taking a more active approach to fitness which started with his new friend. He may not see him that much come fall but hopefully, my son will continue down this more physically fit lifestyle. He was never a big kid but wanted more strength in his core.

We shall see what the future holds with his endeavors, but like I said in my book ~~~ I will stand by him and who knows, he might just have some help from that “warlord” up above. Years prior when in middle school, one of my son’s vocabulary words in social studies was warlord AND he even was a warrior in a game they played at school. All of his friends were peasants or merchants but HE was a warrior. He only shared that story with me and not his dad. How about that? 🥹 Warrior went from skinny to strong and now my kid is doing the same only of course not in the exact way. He was just inspired by another young bodybuilder type of a different generation.

Have you ever had something in your life that didn’t exactly work out the way you’d hope but then years later, it finally does? If you truly think about it, we probably all have at some point. Sometimes, it just isn’t meant to be or wrong timing maybe. Months or years go by and then it gets “locked up” to make it work. It could be a job that didn’t pan out, a move which doesn’t line up, or other issues in your life. You can let it go for a bit and just let it FLOW or keep pursuing it (like most of us do) where we push too hard, fight, and it doesn’t happen.

We need to abandon things at times because honestly, it shouldn’t be that hard and if it is~~~ it’s forced. The Universe helps or however you define it but we still need to do our part. Just don’t “over effort” like I’ve said before as I truly need to remember always. My husband pushed our workout bench on the kids and got them excited to keep track of reps, lifts, etc. but then it waned. We really tried to get them into other interests besides video games or YouTube. We need as parents to back off and let them choose their own way. We can give foundations or directions but then let it be as the seed gets planted. You can go from skinny to strong on your own terms but often, we need time to develop. It worked for Warrior to go fast but for most of us, we are not that rocket ship at full blast. 🚀 Enjoy June my readers and pick up a copy of my book if you feel so inclined for summer reading! You’ll find that story, last week’s and many more at a retailer of your choice… 📗Book plug, week 2…

P.S. Remember summer reading lists for school if you are old enough? Not to worry, no book report due! I always read mine— of course… 😉📚

Warrior Tattoo, part ♊️💪🏻💚

***I have not used the word Warrior in a title since January…

Here we go again with yet another part two, only this time years later. I’m using the Astro symbol for Gemini ⬆️ since we are in that season. That zodiac sign belong to Warrior but it also belongs to my daughter who gets mentioned frequently on here. Before all that, I do have to apologize for the photo below. I look like a contortionist of sorts! It was the only way I could fit my warrior tattoo in the pic with me taking it alone. The reason it gets another mention today is a 2 count. It is the 10th anniversary of when I got it along with my girl who turns 18. Yes, today is her 18th birthday which means 10 years ago~~~ she turned 8. So, besides April— we get another 10th in May. What a milestone it is for both… 🥳🍰

I will share some quotes from the story in my book: “Spirit and Belief.” It’s rare how it gets a plug anymore and that’s OK but you can find it on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, iTunes, my publisher~~~ Balboa Press, and wherever you find books if you are a reader or interested. It’s my baby book of sorts. ( My phone typed “swords” 🗡️as I almost kept that in since Warrior was “The Swordsman” character in the movie “Firepower.” Too funny! 🤭 The book shows the beginnings of the warrior journey I am on. I have written and experienced SO MUCH since then but it’s a fun, interesting, emotional, short read of my adventures. Here are some snippets from “My Warrior Tattoo” chapter 23:

” I had two concerns about doing this and they were quite valid for me. First, I didn’t want it to be a sad reminder just because he passed and second, the aftermath of explaining its meaning to those who won’t understand.”

Yep, still true today– both statements. Here’s another: ” I must admit that the hardest part for me was not getting the tattoo but telling the artists who the Ultimate Warrior was.” *** One guy knew but others did not. I already had one and then a few years later I got a third. I’ll stick to a three count.

A fun one here about that zodiac sign (which was a post done years back all about Virgos – me- and Geminis : ” This girl is also a Gemini like Warrior was and her traits are extremely similar it often blows my mind.” *** Funny how back then I vaguely followed astrology but I looked up a few things. Now, I follow it a little more closely but it’s only part of my practices. Here’s a little lovey: “Maybe I was meant to get that tattoo on her birthday as a special reminder I will never forget. I did tell her what the tattoo means to me and who it was in honor of. She thinks it’s cool and points to it with no words. I know exactly what she means.”

*** That was powerful for me to write and some of you may remember a story quite sometime back when I recalled my 3 tattoos with her. It was titled: ” We Are Never Done. She doesn’t totally remember that time of 10 years ago, but still respects her mom for having the courage to incorporate his legacy. My brother then had reminded me between my 3 tattoos, it is 6 years. Yep, that number was ever present back in those early days but it still makes an appearance from time to time.

Well, those are just some of the goodies of many emotional beautiful feelings from me. My girl made me laugh back then as I needed it the most when she accidentally saw it on my arm! How is she 18? She had the senior prom a few weeks ago and looked so stunning in her dress while having a fabulous time with her friends🥰👗. She just also marched in her final Memorial Day parade with the band just the other day🪈❤️🤍💙🇺🇸 and now graduation is tomorrow night 👩🏻‍🎓. I know I’ll be all “business” but hearing “Pomp and Circumstance” still gets me choked up. 🥹🥲Believe it or not, I just watched Warrior’s tribute to Randy on my saved videos last week. I actually was just scrolling and then remembered how he passed in May so how fitting to have found that. 3 years later, Warrior would join him… ***If you are or were a fan of them both, find that video. I’ve linked it before but it is a wonderful tribute to “The Macho Man.I imagine it as his induction speech into the WWE HOF instead of the one he actually got. I digress yet again… 😑

How is it June this weekend? I knew May would fly by and we need a breather. You’ll be reading a few more posts from me and then I’ll be breaking for a brief trip back to Michigan. We went there after my son graduated but this time, a different area. Until then, look for a few other NEWER pics from me that I have not ever used. It’s another part of Warrior’s career I had yet explored and now, I can. You’ll have to keep reading to find out! I am ready for swims in the pool, 🏊 BBQ’s 😎☀️, sitting by the fire, 🔥 and all the summer feels. We have a busy couple of months with prepping a new college kid, but as always~~~I will breathe through it all. The to do list does become shorter and shorter every day.

I wish you all a happy June as we say goodbye to May… Hard to believe we as a family will no longer be associated with a school district. Just like I usually say- some stuff I’ll miss but others I won’t. New beginnings are tough as we all know but can also be exciting. My son will be moving into an apartment for his third year at college this fall. That will be quite an adjustment having them both gone for a bit but we need to evolve like life has to be. I will treasure all the moments and take them in the best I can. You need to do the same no matter what they are. Take breaks when needed and find a quiet time just for you. We all need it despite the crazy. After our vacation, I will be prepping more for her graduation party. It seems like I just did that~~ two years went by in the blink of an eye. I still see the word FLOW so that is how I have to be. 🙂‍↕️🌊

Happy 10th to my tattoo, even though that sounds silly. It isn’t to me because it gets shared with my girl’s birthday for the rest of my life here. I will also complete her photo wall collage with adding the last one. Very bittersweet🙂‍↔️ it will be, but I have my Warrior strength always~~~ especially when looking at my forearm. Two celebrations in one day and both I will never forget. Oh those Geminis, how can I possibly ever not feel their energy? Both part of me in different ways and forever pieces of my heart.💙💖

P.S. To all you fans of U.W. ~~~ Yes, I finally *** DID*** have several more emotional moments last month. The floodgates opened but not in the same way. It was more little things that have happened in these 10 years. We will never forget but need to keep being our OWN warrior. Channel that inner Gemini with all its expressions of embracing life!

Fan Letters Anyone? 📝✍🏻

Welcome back readers. Hope you are ultimately well wherever you find yourself today. I had thought of this idea after glancing at Ultimate Warrior in a promo background. This I have seen many times before so it kind of fits here. Has anyone ever noticed the bulletin board behind Ultimate Warrior in his WMVI promo? It looks like fan letters of some sort, and there is a drawing there too. Reminds me of either Hacksaw Jim Duggan or Hercules in the upper left corner. I’ll go with Hacksaw… You can look that up on your own. The pic I chose today is from London in 1992 when Ultimate Warrior was signing autographs around SummerSlam. I wonder how many times famous people sign their names over the years? It must be exhausting, but that is fame for ya.

Have any of you ever written a fan letter to either a WWE(F) Superstar or anyone in the celebrity world? Of course, this would be WAY back when people did that type of thing. I did once~ only once, as it got returned. It was for a sitcom star ( no judging!) but maybe I had the address wrong? Boy, did I get teased. I would never do that to another, nope – no way. I think it’s great and despite media of today, when would I ever say NO to writing? I always wondered who read all the fan mail. That must’ve taken hours or even days at a time. Can you just imagine? The people too who would write into magazines, hoping their letter is published. Ah- the good old days…

Such a different time indeed. We can like or follow people on socials and even send private messages. Who keeps track of all those posts and do they even read them? You know it isn’t a celebrity who does that work. It’s someone they hire like an agent, manager, etc. but there are those ***RARE*** responses from the famous we get excited about. I’ve been there too. I’m sure you all know this but a hand written letter? What’s that anymore? If any of you are lucky enough to have an authentic autograph, I’m sure you treasure it. Some may sell, but I never would. It is amazing the amount of money people spend but that’s the life of a collector. We put so much time and effort into another’s signature and yet we (except a few like me) seldom write ourselves anymore. Yes, I KNOW to have a part of fame is incredible but it seems to be of little interest putting our own stuff on paper. Kids don’t even write in school much anymore as it is all mostly online content.

I’m not telling any of you to write things like I do as I don’t expect you to, but really think about it. Our world has become so digital that we use our fingers for texting more than we used to for actual writing. Don’t get me started on reading books 📚 being forgotten as well! There are many good perks of this techno world like the Internet and so much to communicate with people all over every day. It amazes me and I love it! Sometimes though, I feel we have lost touch in other ways. I know I don’t do everything the way it used to be either ( can you say Google and not looking it up in a book?) but some ideas I just won’t ever part with. I actually still write a brief grocery list and not just notes on my phone like most do. It isn’t good for me to always use my phone anyways. All that extra static interference, remember? It affects me. Most know I hand write these before “speaking” them to you all through the WordPress app. I never used to though, speak that is. I typed them before ever knowing that little microphone button, ugh 😑…

Seriously though, what do YOU write out anymore besides signing legal documents? I know we have to evolve with the changes but I’m glad to see writers still out there despite “fan mail” being different. I started journaling at a yoga retreat several years back and now I have many journals filled with quotes, meditations, and so much more. I loved writing when younger and I’ve done blogs on all that before but never did I think to keep a journal or many.

I was not that diary girl thank goodness as I’d have such anxiety thinking my inner thoughts would be found out. Nowadays, they are stored in a box but could others access? Yes, but I have nothing to hide. It’s not like years ago… Can any of you non-writers write if given prompts? Let’s say you took a workshop or had to for a job maybe I guess people get intimidated for many of the same reasons with other new concepts. You won’t be good enough… It won’t make sense… It sounds silly… and on and on. Just like with anything else you try, you’ll have those questions too. It may not suit you and that’s OK. There are many concepts that don’t suit me either but we need to step outside that comfort zone sometimes.

I have shared on here about letter writing with my cousin and a Grandma years ago. I kept them all. It was so exciting getting something like that in the mail. It’s all priorities just like with other activities we wish to pursue. I know Warrior tried so hard post wrestling to answer letters or email personally without a copy of the same one everyone would get. I cannot imagine the volume over time and without help either, but he did it for a while. Media posts have replaced that (or even emojis) and in some ways it is easier but true fans cherish their handwritten notes from him just like anyone would. I know it would be priceless to me as you’d never forget the extra time and attention put into it personally. How is that not more meaningful than a Facebook or Instagram message? Sure, that’s still cool but no comparison if you ask me. I have printed out emails which mean so much. 🥹😊🩷

Maybe we don’t write fan letters anymore or write much at all but for me, it’s cathartic and I will continue as it is a passion of mine. You can have yours, I have this. I’m still not much of a phone convo gal, but I’ll do other media ways for sure. The phone isn’t glued to me and never will be. It just isn’t my main event. Warrior and I will always love the written word whether we were writing or reading. Fanmail or letters are a bygone era but writing itself shouldn’t be. Let’s remember what it’s like to hold a pen instead of always our phone. .. ✍🏻📱

***P.S. SO~~~ I had this dream which just gets a little note today… Maybe it happened because of my anniversary last week? Well, I was in a store and headed to the checkout area. I was behind this woman who pulls my BOOK out from her cart! No idea what store this was… She was showing it to the clerk and talking about it excitedly (: She had heard about the batteries 🔋 🔋story and couldn’t wait to read it!!! I waited a few moments before indicating how the author was right behind her… She was surprised and I asked to sign it for her. She said no- (whatever) but thanked me and was happy to meet. Then, we just went our separate ways before I woke up…. 🤷🏻‍♀️😴📗I highly recommend reading THAT story in the book or search up “The Mysterious Batteries.” You won’t be disappointed as I will always believe…

My Superstar Seven 💙🌟7️⃣

Welcome to October warriors as another new month is upon us once again. That also means my BIG anniversary week with the blog turning 7 TODAY. Who would’ve guessed it would fall on a Wednesday, but I am happy it has. It began on Monday, then Tuesday, and officially found its home being Warrior Wednesday. How could I ignore that alliteration? I went back to read my very first post titled: ” Why Do This?” It was so brief back then, but I wanted to see if I have stayed true to my beginnings. That post wasn’t too detailed but I have stayed true, really I have. I will always feel the same as when I begin. Why I did this encompasses many reasons that have been said before but it all comes down to the core or root of it all. I’m still humbled and gracious every single day. Every single one. ☺️

My book :“Spirit and Belief” will turn 6️⃣ on the 7th and I will always remember the 8th of this month too. That marks my story of : “The Box” 6 months after Warrior’s passing detailed in the book. It’s over at Amazon and other retailers. I don’t mention it much on here anymore, but I still have copies!!! I can ship (: How are we 6 months away from 10 years?******* I’ll “rope” you back into the present now. That pic below is only the second time I have done a “selfie” with Warrior. You can’t tell but I’m sitting on top of our TV hutch just to get in the shot with him. It was just a fun idea I had with this year of 2023, equaling 7 and Warrior’s name of 7 letters. I felt like it was a mini photo shoot and it turned out pretty good. After all, it is our anniversary of sorts that we share with all you readers. To those who have stuck around, my immense and ULTIMATE thanks. I hope you have been inspired or find a true and genuine reason in reading each week. I am wearing some of my Ultimate Warrior gear today, too! 🥹💖💚

No stats, just gratitude and reflection today. I have so enjoyed this warrior journey as well as sharing it with all of you. Next year has a LOT of emotional numbers while looking ahead to year 8 of these writings in Warrior’s life and in mine but it’s OK to celebrate the now. A shout out also has to go to any new followers as of late. Some of you are not familiar with my earlier posts but geez, have they evolved. It’s all there or even the beginnings are in my book if you feel like taking a trip down memory lane. But like I said earlier, I am to my core still the same just like I wrote 7 years ago. A little more educated with all the WHYS, but very much that heart centered warrior woman I’ve always been. Those posts have evolved into much more details as life tends to go but who knows how this match will end. There’s another first for me while writing today. I usually jot down little notes to prepare or a “working title” but not for year 7’s post. Nope, nothing. I just decided to be spontaneous and write what I wish without looking at a prepared list. Many times have I looked to the side thinking: ” where’s my paper”?

You’ve probably all heard that expression of ” lucky sevens” but I’m not much of a gambler. Sure, I’ve done casino games a few times but not like Las Vegas level. It doesn’t truly interest me besides the beautiful night lights. I guess you can say I’m more of a gambler in other ways like writing about my life here, Warrior’s , and fame. Life is a gamble and sometimes we just roll the dice and take that chance. The number 7 is all about self discovery and spiritual growth so that works well for me~ Warrior too. 7 can be that good luck charm many believe it to be but we need to create our own luck. ☘️ This number is also very religious (if you follow) so lots of significance in that area too.

2016 was a huge year for me and it started long before this blog’s inception. Meditation, dreams, feathers, music, and so MANY more signs made that year truly ultimate as little did I know back then. Always such mixed emotions for sure. Some days I look back and simply CANNOT believe what I wrote at all but then there are those moments where I say: “F*CK it, it’s all me!” They can take it or leave it. Believe at your own risk. I’m not after the fame, money, or followers, although I LOVE if you are interested! I’m also not over defending myself anymore either like I used to. I’m still very passionate and intense about these writings, don’t get me wrong~~~ but it’s my “normal” like an extension of myself.

If you also want to connect in another way, search up the YouTube channel under my name at:

@kathypickett1527. Look for the Bluejay feather. I haven’t done any videos in such a while, I just lose track so sorry to loyal followers! There’s some great ones I have on Warrior, hard to believe it was started 6 years ago in 2017. I still remember my one sister commenting to me on the very first video I made plugging the NEW blog. She said how relaxed I seemed and not nervous at all. That meant quite a lot as it felt natural to me. I did NOT start that channel because of Warrior’s past with YouTube. My daughter was getting into videos at that time and it inspired me to start my own. Oh boy, there I go defending like I said I don’t do, UGH!!! Well, that’s OK. It’s fun to reminisce just a little.

Happy 7️⃣th anniversary warrior writings but 6️⃣ to my book too. Just for fun, I looked up the gifts for a 7th anniversary. It doesn’t just have to be for a wedding… They are copper and wool. Copper represents prosperity and fortune while wool is warm and secure. Wool can be itchy to me, but I’ll take it. There’s a joke in there…. I’m not sharing it but had to break for a laugh! 😂🤭😬I can be BAD at times, he-he…. Thank you all for any support as 7 might not be a big deal to some but it is to me. Never could I have guessed this would continue. Thank you *******WARRIOR for your inspiration, loyalty, honesty, and so many many more spiritual hugs from up in parts unknown. I am ultimately humbled in every way.

P.S. STILL popular with viewers:

“Back to Warrior’s Machete.”

“The Mysterious Batteries.” ( this is in my book! 🔋🔋)

“Family Business Banter.”

“Disciplines of Destrucity.”

I LOVE them all!!!

P.P.S. How about this? We went to see our girl in a Band Festival last Sat. and I decided to wear my Warrior totem necklace, just because… Had NO idea 2 bands were called “Warriors!” Before they performed, I heard that ringing in my ears!!! 🎼🥰👂🏻

We Are Never Done 💙😊🫵🏻

“So, when are you gonna be done with all the Warrior stuff?” That was asked by my daughter a few weeks ago. It all started with her looking at silly tattoo pics online. No idea why and some are funny but others were just plain idiotic. 🤪 I bet she’ll get a few someday. Then, she asked about mine as I told her the stories behind each one. The Ultimate Warrior tattoo story is in my book: “Spirit and Belief” but she didn’t remember any details at all. It’ll turn 9 this year on her 17th birthday later in May. When she asked me that question, I really didn’t know how to answer. I wasn’t sure if she met my blog or what as it was recently just renewed another 2 years and then it’ll be close to 10. 😳Come to think of it, I never answered because well~ I can’t. To me, he will never be done (despite his physicality,) but who knows when the blog will be. When it’s time, it’s time, but not just yet.

None of us will ever be fully done. That is why Warrior wanted to leave behind such an ultimate legacy to always be remembered here and in parts unknown. All of us need to believe in our own legacy however it looks. His face in the photo below is depicted being asked questions about the HOF speech. F bombs or not? 💣Well, he didn’t use that word, although I DO now so will keep that part of his legacy alive, ha ha! His HOF speech ended but the impact will never officially be done. We all know that as those who have touched us live forever in our hearts always. I did ponder my girl’s words once more regarding these writings I share.

Do any of you remember me saying how originally I was going to do this for just a year? Yep, that was the feeling but as years progress, it begs the question of what then? When this does end someday as it will, how am I going to feel? Accomplished? I hope so. Sad? Perhaps a little, but I do know obligatory guilt cannot be there. Sure, I had some goals and some were met, others still looming… By the time I possibly feel differently about writing, my kids will be all grown up (almost are now!) and hopefully we’ll be starting anew outside of Ohio. That’s a ways off yet but it’s there. I will find other ways as we all need to move forward in new directions. Again, the physicality of something will be done, but the legacy or even essence always lives on. We shouldn’t feel that sense of obligation just because we are used to something the way it is or has been. I left teaching like the Ultimate Warrior left wrestling. Yes, I, KNOW- not the same at all but the mentality is. There always would have been one more student to teach like there will always be one more fan to entertain. You readers are the same. You will FEEL when it is time to move on and be done with something while beginning again. Sometimes like with us, it was a choice but for some it might not be. ❤️‍🩹

I gotta add this here as far as readers go.Recently while looking up some other info, I happen to come across this one interesting forum from a few years back. Yes, it was about Warrior (what I was searching,) but I am very much a part of Google in that way. I can’t remember the actual site but a guy posted about finding the “goofyest” stuff. UGH, people- please spell correctly. 🤦🏻‍♀️ He was referencing my blog saying how: ” this girl talks about communicating with the Ultimate Warrior in spirit.” Another guy said something like : ” well, if anyone can do that, he can!” Yeppers! I’ll take that as a compliment and he will too (: Who knows what other comments there were as I couldn’t read them all. This girl… OK, I do sometimes say that but come on~ I’m not 12! That was not a present comment but I had never really read anything like that and I can get defensive. I know not to, as it can be difficult to process. Not everyone is meant to understand or believe any of this. I actually laughed a little, so thanks goes to guy number 2 for some validation. I will be done on Google someday when this blog is no more or the book isn’t searched, but in other ways I never will be and that includes Warrior.

How do you feel about something being done? I guess it truly does depend on if it’s liked by you or not. We are glad when it would be a struggle but then with other situations, it can become difficult ending or seeing it done like a goodbye. Every parent can relate on this but again, we have to move as life is fluid all the time. I know fans were not happy to see the character of Ultimate Warrior leave several times during his run with WWE (F.) As far as we knew he was done and we had no idea if he’d ever be on our TVs again. At least I didn’t. I did get upset and cried a little back then as I felt he was barely there, and then gone….*PAUSE* here. He wasn’t done, but at that time it wasn’t even known by him.

You don’t have to be famous in order to maybe be done with fame, but still easily accessed in this day and age. No, us regular folks can’t be all over the Internet (shouldn’t be anyway!,) and videos, old TV shows, or any of that we aren’t done in people’s minds and hearts. The memories and love will be there and I hope they are for you too. Professional Youtubers with millions of followers isn’t for me. It might be you the reader though, and that’s OK. There’s so many things in life we are done with and some at certain ages, but then other ideas will remain. You can be done with actual schooling in a building but being educated on topics is for a lifetime. You can be done raising kids but will always be their parent. Every year we are done with and a new one and new birthday is upon us. Don’t get me started on stuff I totally WANT to be done with, too many to list! I’m sure you have yours as well.

So, to me as with many of you other fans, Warrior will never be done. I scoff at that. Yes, his fame keeps him going, but he was so much more in spite of all that. So much more. Whatever you feel done with, set it free but know much will still be there. I will never be done with music either as most do know that! 🎼Some will lesson like I said last week, but others will not and there are many reasons why. My Warrior stuff remains always. 🥹

P.S. Last week I got something incorrect… The Boy Band referenced was NKOTB (New Kids on the Block) not N’Sync. Ugh, I always got them all mixed up! 🤬😂

P.P.S. I found another U.W. fan group over on Instagram called: ultimatewarriorofficial. Some others I know follow so check them out!

Red and Yellow AGAIN! 😬

I’ve mentioned those colors before warriors, but they came into my thoughts again recently with Easter being over. I was looking at a few of my spring decorations while remembering a little negative story. I tell myself every year to forget about it and sometimes I do but this year, I am sharing it on here. Some of those former WWE (F) stars wore red and yellow (one alone and then a few Tag Teams) but I have my own red and yellow story. First off though, can ANYONE answer this? I know I’ve asked it before. OK, fans know Hulk Hogan wore those signature colors for years, but why did they keep repeating often? His tag team with Randy Savage as the “MegaPowers,” Randy with Ultimate Warrior as the “Ultimate Maniacs,” and then Hulk with Brutus Beefcake as the “Mega Maniacs.” I still believe Randy and Warrior should’ve worn pink and green (or colors they wore more!) but not red and yellow. There has to be an answer somewhere… 🤔

Anyways, here’s my “UGH” story. Back in the day when girls planned a bridal shower or were getting married, it was always the same question: “What are your colors?” Yes, this part will be kind of for the gals but maybe you guys know too. For me, I didn’t have colors. I gotta be different, you know?! It was one color~ coral. My shade was more of the orange pink variety and not red. Some would say peach even. The girls carried 6 roses~ 3 coral, 3 cream. My number even then. Too funny! Warrior’s WM6 trunks were very orange, but I always liked orange when most didn’t. He had his 6 moment, I had mine, ha ha. Anyhow, the shower was at my sister’s house at the time. I loved the company, food, and games, but the decorations? NOT AT ALL… ☹️

I walked in thinking this was not for me as there was no coral color anywhere. Um, why not? My sister did it her way and even used tulips when my flowers were roses! I still to this day never got a real answer, even from my mom. It’s all so weird. I did have a good time but was just disappointed. My sis always wanted tulips in her wedding but used roses as well. Even if I got married in the middle of winter, artificial flowers are always what we’d use so if I wanted tulips, I would get them. Her wedding was in September, but really who cares? Use your tulips but my August wedding was roses. Both sisters gave me a watering can and a nice vase as keepsakes with these red and yellow tulips all over them. I kept them out for years in the spring but finally gave them away several years ago. I didn’t need the bad memory attached to myself anymore. Let someone else that wants them, have them. When they had their showers, I helped plan it around their flowers and colors. That’s just what you do or at least I thought so. Don’t get me wrong here. It was very pretty and nice but you plan for the bride, not yourself. I was no bridezilla either but guess I just assumed. OK, former bride rant over.

I must say though, I STILL have a few of my purple tulips bloom outside. Remember them loyal readers? I love seeing all the colors in people’s yards despite this cold spell we are having, but I won’t get just red and yellow ever! When I do think of those colors always, I want the happy. Some of you can have Hulk with the longevity but I’ll take Randy and Warrior any day. I wonder how long the “Ultimate Maniacs” could’ve lasted? So many questions I’d love answered. ❤️💛💪🏻💪🏻

I can also probably do an entire post on the color blue. Much stuff I had when younger was blue when I always wanted pink. That reminds me of “Sleeping Beauty” when the fairies kept changing her dress color. 💙💖I watched that favorite movie of mine not that long ago… I finally got my pink though in a few shades, including a bike but this is red and yellow today. Both sisters always loved yellow, still do. I do in some ways but pink will always be my favorite. I have two rooms painted yellow in my house though. I was born to be different and I’m fine with that but just want respect because of it. When you combine yellow and pink, you get peach. I like the combo. One sister had yellow dresses in her first wedding but not the other. Such odd reasons why as that would never be me. To each their own I guess.

Maybe today’s brides don’t do color patterns, but I still see flowers that complement dresses so a little of it is still there. The red and yellow shower of my day will forever be a mystery along with those former WWE (F) tag teams. Do any of you have a story to share where you placed such expectations on someone or something only to experience disappointment? I bet you do or did, but it does become hard letting it all go. Warrior had people let him down too many times throughout his life and yet we must continue on in a new way. Once we find what works with people who “get” us, it flows easier. One would think family gets us the most and would know our likes or tastes, but sometimes we need to place our trust in a fresh perspective. That can only happen with time and a whole lot of patience. We shouldn’t feel guilty for moving our ideas onto others. It’s really how to evolve despite blood sometimes.

I hope those of you who do have close sisters remain that way as I am not here to bash your relationships at all. Just sharing my red and yellow story that I totally connected to wrestling. Who would’ve thought getting out some spring decor would bring it all back to my memories, despite not having the physical objects anymore? We all have connections with items from the past, but let’s make the good ones count. U.W. Memorabilia anyone? I’ll take those as I’m sure you will too. Just give me roses, not tulips! 🌷Give me pink or coral too. All kidding aside, we can forgive and see the lessons. They were wrong but I can’t give it more power or energy anymore. That’s my lesson. Maybe we are done with seeing red and yellow in WWE? I wouldn’t know anymore. Good memories remain as I let the negative ones go…

P.S. That pic of Ultimate Warrior below describes how frustrated I was back then! I DO love my Bluejay feathers though. They aren’t red or yellow, hehe…

P.P.S. When working with my florist for the wedding all those years ago, she had never used the color coral before ever. I had many firsts just like Warrior did and still do… 🧡💖☺️

Listen to those “Nudges.” 🫵🏻

We all get those little “nudges” that won’t seem to go away but I am thinking about the good stuff here, not the bad. You can call them whatever you like. They can be intuitive hits, signs, or just feelings that are bugging you in some way. I have mentioned plenty on here in the past but one story that came to me was when I decided to get my very first tattoo. No, that doesn’t connect to Warrior (the second one does!) but he had those nudges too. Despite never wanting to go back to WWE, people around him kept nudging which prompted him to finally think about it more and more. He was very emotional going into those WWE offices but aren’t we all glad he made the right decision? I am for sure but now let me share my little nudge of almost 12 years ago.

I have always loved dolphins 🐬and mentioned them on a post last year. That was a report in 6th grade but by now I was much older. It wasn’t a milestone birthday but I just felt it in me to do something different. My brother and a cousin had just gotten one and hers was a dolphin making a heart with her daughter’s name in the middle. I didn’t want to copy with a dolphin but ugh- isn’t it so wrong to care what others think in that way? Well, mine wouldn’t have names of anyone as that is not what I do. You can have your body art any way that works but I feel differently. My bro got his kids initials as part of his and no, it isn’t that I don’t love mine but again, my passions are just for me and that’s how they get expressed.

Another thought I had was everyone else. I’m so grateful I think another way now. Being how I was with the birth family, this would literally shock the sh*t 💩out of a few! Oh, to be spiteful but I wouldn’t do that. I also am not that typical girl who is going to get inked just to prove it to someone like a dare or something. Nope, so wrong on many levels. You also would never see me sporting a cliché, like a ladybug, butterfly, heart, or many “girly” things. OK, those are beautiful, and I love them all but mine would have to represent something on a much more deeper level to me and I have no personal connection to any of those symbols. I also never wanted words. My brother always thought I’d get “Always Believe” around my small Warrior mask tattoo. I don’t need it because I know what it means and it isn’t worth my time explaining to those who won’t understand. We can, and should always believe in ourselves but nah~ I don’t need the words. I can write my own here or in journals but not on my body. You others are free to do whatever you wish. 💚

So, this “nudge” of sorts stayed with me quite a while. As with any big decision (and yes, this was for me!) you have to sit with it for a bit. Little ones you can be impulsive with as it is good to be spontaneous once in a while but not this involved. It was getting later in the summer and my tattoo idea was still in my head weeks later. We were on vacation and I decided to tell my husband. This was at dinner outside near the lake and I had a few Long Island iced teas. Now, I was ready! 😜🍹🍹He of course is not a fan but respected what I wanted. I was doing this and realistically didn’t have to let anyone know but felt the need to share with him. He had no idea on the Warrior one but that’s been told along with the fact that I have 3… The nudge never went away, and I got excited. That’s key here. You have to be excited about those nudges despite a little fear.

We all have those passions and interests that just never seem to wane or fade away. I always questioned that with Warrior but of course I know now why. 😉 Even with anything you do, think about how the idea started and why it did. This blog, my book, “Spirit and Belief,” starting a YouTube channel, and so many others began with a slight nudge that turned into more. Of course, there will be those times we might fall flat but don’t look at it as a failure, it’s a lesson. Maybe it just wasn’t the right time. You will also know if you can totally disregard outside influences. I am better at that with others but it’s also about time, money, resources, and all that too. Many times we do need help with projects but allow your strengths to power you through if you truly listen to those inner nudges. I mentioned following my compass last week which is how we need to be. It is hard to abandon an idea for a time but if it comes back as that nudge bugging you again, then you can start to take action.

Warrior had so many nudges in his life which propelled him to succeed in the way he did. He always mentioned listening to that inner voice we all have. If others think you’re crazy for following that voice, that’s OK. It’s your life, not theirs. Another nudge I have is moving in a few years. Yes it will be a ton of work but is a decision we’ve made peace with and will happen. The feeling is only getting stronger and there are many signs pointing in that direction. You will be filled with lots of emotions while listening to your own WHYS and then HOWS on that certain thing you want to pursue but the good should outweigh the bad. If it doesn’t, give it more thought. Like I’ve said before, good does come from bad. You just won’t be aware of it at the time. Your nudges might not be a tattoo, blog, or any of my stuff but you will have yours like Warrior had his. It might also be risky but ask yourself if it’s worth it. Warrior knows it was worth it for him returning to WWE. Your inner voice always knows. Trust it because that nudge is there for a reason. Listen… 👂🏻👍☺️

P.S. A little break on the emotional posts to lighten up some, hope you enjoy! Remember as well~ your “nudges” can be in your face a bunch or quite subtle. Look for that repetition and it becoming pretty constant. Then, you will KNOW…

My Chance Encounters 💖💙

Oh my goodness warriors will this be quite the post. First off, I had such a debate in my head over what photo to use this week. I decided on the one below because I took it at 4:14 P.M. That date is in a few days and ends my 3 weeks of “running” on emotion. It was decided when I saw the timestamp so there ya go. I had a couple chance encounters at the latest Holistic Fair and what a beautiful time. How do I begin and what do I share? I’m still deciding as I glance at all my notes. I guess the beginning is a good place so grab your coffee, tea, or favorite beverage and take it all in.

I hadn’t sat for a card reading with anyone in over a year as it is a rarity I do so. Sure, I can draw cards from a deck and use a guidebook like they do (I do at home) but this time, there was so much more. SO much more. I wanted to sign in and decided to sit with another spiritual friend of mine instead of my regular gal. This other girl I was familiar with from my book club and we have chatted a bit, but not in depth. She was running late so I decided to sit in on a house reading with my one friend and this older gentleman who is very well-known around here. Both are spiritual mediums so believe what you want on this. I had attended a few of his group meditations and she was the one who interviewed me for the podcast several years ago. I can still hear her saying “that poor man” about Warrior’s passing and it wasn’t sad for me. I have told that story here but today’s is new. They both were pretty accurate with info coming through, and he is so funny! You need the humor too. It does matter as I know.

They finished and as I proceeded to the hallway, I met up with my former book club leader! She came all the way from Florida to see her first great grandchild (: I got to meet her granddaughter there too. What a joyous reunion we had. Oh, have I totally missed that Earth Goddess Mother! Her face just lit up as did mine. I was meant to go that day and as my tears flowed, I became grateful. 🥰 By then, my card reader walked past me so I told her I would be her first session. She was so happy to see me and had no idea I was coming. Just remember, she had no clue I would be there…

We reminisced for a few moments as she pulled a deck to work with. I am more into oracles and not Tarot but she didn’t know that. The deck she chose I was familiar with and she picked 5 cards. The anchor card was “Compass” so that totally fit for me as I am following my true north! You will know your purpose even if it scares you a little. Another card was “Unexpected Visitors” and I linked that to my Earth Goddess mother mentioned above. The cards did connect and I shared some of my insights as well. I had mentioned how much I enjoyed our time in the book club and asked if she remembered me writing a book. Yes, I KNOW. Finally Warrior comes into this post more but it’s great storytelling, don’t ya think? She could tell I practice and follow many things without me sharing much info at all. Maybe it was my energy or passion for being there, who knows?

It was then how I felt our connection a little more and shared a BIG spiritual trait about myself that few others know. It does connect to Warrior and she proceeded to tell me SHE has this rare trait as well with someone. Neither of us had met another with this same type of experience. Our eyes met as I felt easy and comfortable. I said a few things about his fame and passing while she said how sorry she was. She was sorry for me that it happened. Sorry for ME… I of course knew why she said that but it was heartwarming as I told her I appreciate the sentiment and all is OK… She went on to state how she has many gifts including access to past lives which always intrigues me. Again, take what you will from this. I have found out bits and pieces of a past life of mine from our mutual psychic friend but my healer validates much in our sessions. I will see my card reader again about that as she will do it as a favor to a friend without payment. I was honored but with our shared spiritual trait, we bonded. She did say a few things about seeing me in a past life and validated how I passed which I knew. She did add what happened before that, and it makes sense as I shed some tears later on. That info was new to me. 😓 It affects my life now and I can totally relate. It is surreal, but fits for sure. ❤️‍🩹

After that serious yet interesting few moments, she started laughing. 😂 I had no idea why as nothing seemed amusing. She brought up Warrior again and described him younger. I do believe up there we can choose a young version of ourselves at times. I asked what was humorous. She went on to say how funny and cute we are together. Now, THAT is something I totally agree with. 😉😜She picked up on his humor, I love that. You might say this is vague and I don’t blame you, but there was more in snippets which is how it has to be. I am keeping it all in my heart. 🫶🏻

She also saw me painting which I did briefly last year but don’t see that much in myself. It was therapeutic when I needed that break but others paint, not me. This was a future premonition of sorts, not the past. My daughter is that artist similar to Warrior, but it was never something I saw myself doing. Reason to *** PAUSE*** here… 👩🏻‍🎨🎨 That older gentleman I referenced earlier, who is a medium saw me helping to design artwork for a book cover one day. Wow! He told me this years ago and I never forgot. Would not have seen that coming at all. I did a post on art way back now, but it does tend to be an emotional topic for me. Any of us can do anything but to be placed in that category is just amazing to me. It is all free will and some info we take in more than others… I would like to sit with her soon to explore some of those little tidbits and maybe we can expand on them. I had no idea she also had that gift and she doesn’t follow my work either. It was a chance encounter just like seeing my book club moderator mother. To think it all began with just a card reading and turned into so much more. The Warrior stories were brief but enough details to warm my heart.

Again, she didn’t look him up as very few of these people are aware of him or his fame at all. She had no idea I decided to sit with her, and I had no idea on some small information which got presented to me that day. I have lived longer now than in a past life but we probably all have if you believe. Without a doubt, I KNOW so much more of my purpose, as I truly think THAT life was too short. Now is my redemption through more self-confidence in myself. I’m excited to visit with her again and see what transpires. Chance encounters? Nothing is coincidental. I am OWNing my destiny and will continue to follow that compass…

P.S. Here is part of a text I received from my cousin who I talk to daily. I was having an off day near the end of March. Maybe with all of the Warrior dates being around but I felt like I was in a “fog.” I gave her some info and this was part of her reply:

“Never be sorry… it’s good to explain and to know others do care what you are going thru. All will be good but he knows you are a strong WARRIOR like him and continuing his life’s journey through you is amazing! I’m so proud of you and carry your crystals with you! Love you.”

*** She is one of a kind and I was overwhelmed by her words. She always says how she is not a writer. I totally disagree. 🥹

P.P.S. Last year I remember hearing “The Warrior” song on April 1st which was awesome! This year, it popped up on my radio Easter Sunday, April 9th when I was in the kitchen alone prepping dinner… I found out about Warrior’s passing 9 years ago on the 9th. How truly fitting…. 💙🙏🏻
