The Feather Box

I wanted to share this story since it concerns my feather collection but also involves following a vision. It doesn’t really connect to Warrior but hey– ya never know! All these smaller events brought the bigger ones and this one follows that pattern. “Finding Feathers” was a previous post shortly after I started this blog and the full story is told in the chapter “Out of the Blue” ( or is it Red?) in Spirit and Belief.

Once I had discovered many feathers, they just didn’t all seem to fit in my little ziplock bag anymore or even a big bag! I thought a box would work to display them nicely. My mind actually visualized the type of box I wanted but also thought of the type I didn’t want. Wooden- yes, kid-like, no. Nothing too ornate but not overly simple that required decorating.

For all you online shoppers out there, am sure you’d just get something from Amazon or e-bay right? I do some shopping that way but personal stuff– nah, can’t do it. This is just like the sign story a few posts ago and that candle lantern with those warrior batteries. Can’t say I would’ve had those same experiences with online shopping. Yes, it’s convenient and works well but not for my stories!

I did go to some stores a few years ago and nothing really appealed to me so the thought waned. The vision was still there in the back of my mind but it wasn’t like a mission or anything. If I found something I loved, great. If I didn’t, it would wait. Maybe that is what I needed to do this time around instead of shopping like an ultimate maniac! The sign I found right away, the lantern had me all over the place, (but VERY worth it!) and the box had me in between.

I went to this home goods store without being overly concerned with finding the “perfect feather box.” By being casual and calm, I noticed some that interested me. This box was perfect and actually had feathers on it– what are the odds? 😉 I love the hearts too. The one thing that bothered me was its size. It was way too big for the space I needed to display and wouldn’t fit. I looked on the shelf and they all seemed the same. It was so perfect and I knew it would work somehow.

Before leaving the aisle, I moved some aside and there was this exact box– only smaller. Word to the wise is always move items aside to search thru everything. I’m not saying wreck shelves or anything but we’ve all had that happen before. Clothes are the worst with a size listed on a hanger and a different one on the fabric– ugh! ðŸ˜ģ

Well, I found my new feather box only after thinking more calmly, not becoming too attached, and searching a shelf carefully. I just realized how these three stories are similar when I really hadn’t noticed before. Here’s those signs again in a group of three. The lantern, word sign, and feather box with very different shopping experiences.

Don’t become a shopaholic and don’t become an online shopaholic either. A mix of both is fine. My intuition and the Universe or my spirit team nudged me with all three of these items just like it does for you everyday. Think hard, I bet you can remember times that “signs” happened and it worked! Patience is one of the many lessons I am learning on this journey as evidenced with my shopping experiences. We all need patience and if we practice, it will come. Let’s share our experiences together! Follow my new spiritual blog at: www.spiritandbelief.com

Three License Plates

All of a sudden in my memory bank, other Warrior related stories seem to be popping up for me! I mention license plates being a sign with after death communication in my book Spirit and Belief. These three were obviously not as relevant to all the other signs I got at the time but wanted to share with you fans.

The first license plate story happened a few years ago when I needed some things at Target. I pulled into the parking lot and proceeded to find a spot. Another parking lot experience like the dime in the rain!

When I stopped the van, I saw this car in front of me with a license plate frame that said Stamford, CT. Had never seen a frame reference but really, what are the odds? I see Connecticut plenty but not Stamford where WWE is located. I just smiled and thought how cool considering all the other little experiences with that time.

The second license plate I saw when going to church. I was in the back entrance parking lot and it was a very narrow road so speed bumps slow you down. While driving on one side, this woman passed me on the other. I laughed at her plate to myself which read GHOST 7. Of course, I prefer the word spirit and Warrior does have 7 letters so it connected for me. 😆 I never saw messages on plates or noticed them at all really so when I do, it fills my heart with all kinds of emotions. I had the state names and not numbers and letters. It seems also that parking lots showed me a few signs! 🚙

The third plate really resonated with me the most and also made me laugh the most! Oh my, did I talk to Warrior much after this one! We were driving back from some errands one night and stopped at a light with a four way intersection. ðŸšĶI had the radio on as usual and my husband proceeded to get in the left turning lane that would take us one road away from our street. Believe me when I say being in the right place and time affects you and your reaction matters. This car was across the road from us also waiting for the green light to continue. I could see a vanity plate that read JAMES H. I really do have to control my laughter sometimes!! 😂ðŸ˜Ū

As we waited for the light, I tried to convince myself that the plate read JAMES R. instead. That’s almost similar, right? Once the light turned and we moved closer, the plate was clearly visible as JAMES H. I couldn’t wait to get home and laugh more out loud in another room! I said goodbye to JAMES H. and then really had to address Mr. Warrior……

Here’s my simulated conversation with him in my head:

ME: “So, what’s going on James H.?”

WARRIOR: “That’s not my name, I’m not listening!”

ME: “What else am I going to notice today James H.?” ( getting goosebumps and laughing)

WARRIOR: ” I don’t know who that guy was, you’re not seeing anything else unless you talk to me as Warrior.” ( hopefully full of humor and not swearing!)

It was quite an amusing scenario and guess what? Spirits want you to laugh when you notice things and have fun with it! No idea where JAMES H. was going but I certainly had some fun with his license plate that night.

So, there ya go. My three license plate stories that put a smile on my face at very different times. Just go about your life and see what you can find. If you have some “funny” sign stories to share, please do! Who knows if I’ll see others sometime…
