Morning warriors or Night owls β˜€οΈπŸ¦‰

Do you remember my city/country post of a few months ago warriors? Well, today’s story is kinda like that one only with times of day instead of places to live. Which do you prefer– the morning warrior or night owl? I’m actually neither since most of my energy is spent in the afternoon. If I had to choose, it would be the morning. I was never a night owl. Guess who was though? You know who I’m talking about– Warrior.

I have referenced this a little before with being a WWE performer and superstar. Sleep would be hard to come by what with all the adrenaline. I know I’d be the same way if I did what they did and do! Downtime is required in order for me to prepare for dreamland… If I don’t get comfy before bed with my routine, falling asleep becomes quite the challenge. Warrior confesses on The Ultimate Collection DVD to surviving on 3 hours of sleep and calling it “neat.” Um, NO– not for me! This post is one of the fews where we are not in agreement upon. Once your body gets used to a routine or practice, it does become hard to change even out of a profession. I’d barely make it for Saturday Night’s Main Event sometimes and I was younger then!

When I was a young child, napping just wasn’t for me. I was good and stayed quiet but not many times of actual sleeping. Kiddos need that rest but it wasn’t happening for me. Now, it’s a little easier with a busier lifestyle and some cold wintery weekends. I was told that I have more energy than ever realized. 😬 That does explain why my brain and body need to work together to achieve rest. Like I always say, we need the balance and that is true with activity and sleep too. 😴

My workout is the afternoon as my husband’s is in the morning. I have done some fitness in the evening but gotta tell ya– it doesn’t work for me. If it’s getting close to 8 p.m., I am way too wired and already know sleep will be difficult that night.

There are some who workout at midnight or so like Triple HHH and Stephanie McMahon. Often, that’s the time that works with hectic busy families. If I had to do that, I would but sleep would have to factor in as well. Sure, sometimes I have a few sleepless nights but it isn’t a constant. I do know that my workout and fitness are a priority so it would get done in some way. Maybe just yoga. Maybe just cardio but probably not all if my schedule was different. I’d rather start at 5:00 A.M. and crash earlier at night instead of trying to find the energy at midnight!

How does this work for you warriors? It doesn’t have to apply to fitness but anything else. I also will never be one of those late night shoppers either. Ya know, the Wal-Mart types. If you are, that’s fine but it isn’t me. Guess I’m not the all-nighter kind of gal. I wanted to watch T.V. and school wasn’t like that for me anyways.

Many activities I prefer doing in the morning versus night like errands or chores. We all do what works for us and some can’t switch their schedule around. I like relaxing more in the evening or doing family stuff minus homework. 😳Our schedules can be so opposite of others but we shouldn’t judge since everyone is different. I love the idea of starting the day with a workout since your energy will get peaked. At the end of a day, my tiredness creeps in and it’s more difficult. If you have some motivation, even better.

Being up all night can have advantages too since most could be sleeping or some even work night shifts. You’d have no distractions at home or very little but will have to be quiet. You can get your own space like Warrior had which worked well out in his barn gym. When we are alone, we can mentally prepare better for whatever tasks lay ahead of us. Knowing myself, I’d probably fall asleep at 7 p.m. being up all night…

So, morning warriors or night owls? Whichever is your thing, just make it work in your life. Do the work of your life as Warrior said. Make your time count because it truly does. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

WORK+REST=BALANCE Always!!

P.S. Last month on Friday, Dec. 13th, we had an owl in our backyard tree! It was so cool seeing this “night owl”! ~~ It was also a full moon!! πŸŒ‘

Ultimate Family Nuances

Happy 2020 warriors! πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ A New Year and decade… I wish you all health, happiness, and humor as always! Hey, that’s WWE’s HHH( not on purpose!πŸ˜‰) This story has plenty of that humor so get your gear on and let’s start running.

As you can see with that photo, Helwig Whistle Stop is nearby my town. I know it’s missing an l warriors and across the street is Helwig Industrial Park. One of the founders of this neighboring city had that as his last name. I found very little as to why some areas were named after him but he must’ve been prominent back then. This street is one of the main roads that connects towns so I have seen this “tag team” for years now. The Whistle Stop is newer though but always a reminder of Jim Hellwig (Warrior’s birth name.) Also, I had to use the Whistle Stop Sign because of the train. Vince McMahon had referred to the Ultimate Warrior as “a runaway locomotive!”

There’s those literal SIGNS once again. Also, on that same road sits a chiropractor’s office on the corner of Daisy Street. Warrior was almost that profession and had a beloved dog named Daisy who is now with him in spirit. At least I believe that anyway. I still smile and maybe giggle every time I pass that corner. There are a few Daisy references in my book Spirit and Belief that will always warm my heart along with another train reference from a vacation.

Now, I’ll move on to more family stories. Two involve my husband and one is with my daughter ( yes, again!) I rarely mention my husband and then these little nuances got me thinking. πŸ€” A few Christmas Eves ago, we were in our church parking lot and saw my daughter’s 5th grade PSR teacher. This was a little over 3 years ago when many other sillies surfaced. My son also had this teacher and his name is Mr. HOGAN. That’s right… Well, my kids still don’t acknowledge teachers what with all the embarrassment. My husband says in a loud enough voice for me to hear: “HOGAN!” Thankfully, Mr. Hogan didn’t hear him. I’m not kidding here when I say he sounded like the Ultimate Warrior during WMVI after Hogan’s knee “went out.” Warrior yells: “Hogan!” for him to get back into the ring. I wondered if my husband had ever seen WMVI as that does remain a mystery…

The second nuance occurred several months ago as I was working on my website in another room. My husband was watching a YouTube video and I immediately heard Gorilla Monsoon’s voice announcing during a match with the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase and some other opponent. I couldn’t hear it all but it was for sure an old WWF match! What the heck? He doesn’t watch that and it was playing at least a minute or more before I walked in. I didn’t want to freak him out by saying something absurd but just: “Hey, I know that voice, that’s Gorilla Monsoon!” He stopped it right away and said nothing. Hmmm…

The last little family nuance came when studying health with my daughter last year. They were learning different muscles of the body with diagrams. We all know the basics right– like gluteus maximus, (our glutes or rear!) biceps, triceps, and some others. Then, I was amused with a fun memory. Next came trapezius which is part of the neck and shoulder “area.” I thought of SummerSlam’89 between the Ultimate Warrior and Ravishing Rick Rude. Those commentators used the medical terms since we have to be serious when describing the body! I always loved when they’d say “area” after a word. Did you ever notice that back then? The kidney “area,” the frontal “area,” etc. Well, I started laughing when going over her muscle body parts vocabulary.

Guess which part she kept forgetting? Trapezius. That sounds about right, doesn’t it? That match between U.W. and R.R. resulted in Warrior getting the Intercontinental Title Belt back and started with a sign I’ve mentioned before in the audience that read: “Hi Kathy.”

Ultimate Family Nuances are always around giving me humor and memories. Some signs are new while some remain. I love them all and am humbled as my purpose is a warrior who always believes. πŸ’™πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ‹πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ€Όβ€β™€οΈπŸ™πŸ»

Just Imagine warriors…

This post is a day early warriors as I have much going on tomorrow. Also, this blog will be the last one of 2019 as I am taking a few weeks off for the Holiday Season. Not to worry though. I’ll be back in 2020 (wow!) with a funny family one to start the New Year! Feel free to archive posts if you’re missing me too much!! πŸ˜‰

So, just imagine warriors. What could that mean? Well, for this topic it’s kinda like the question you got asked as a kid. “What do you want to be when you grow up?” That means your job. We all had those answers, didn’t we? Maybe you didn’t know or maybe you still don’t consider yourself a grown up? Whatever the case, let’s use that imagination I’m sure you all still have.

Warrior says in that video above how the Ultimate Warrior will keep running and that’s how we all need to be. Not literally but just to keep going, dreaming, imagining, and then achieving. Whatever that is for you. I’ll link the WWE video at the end but most fans know his story. He had many professional aspirations and being a pro- wrestler wasn’t even one of them. Life sends detours for sure and we can decide what road to take.

If for just one day, you could take a professional detour, what would that be like for you? Imagine yourself out of your current job or situation and into another. I’ll be an example here. Well, let’s see… I did always want to be a wife and mom (no paycheck!) but becoming a preschool teacher was my profession for many years. Once I decided on early childhood, that was it for me. Never ever ever did I imagine becoming a writer of two international blogs, publishing a book Spirit and Belief, having a website, making YouTube videos, and all this! UM- no way! Some things aren’t money related but still shows the detours. Dana is now on the creative writing team of WWE. Am sure she never imagined that detour in her life either. Culture may decide also but it’s all there for you.

Now, if I could change something– hmm… What would I imagine? I guess I would probably be a singer! I’m not really sure how that would get played out but I have imagined it. My kids still tease me about music and singing but it doesn’t bother me. Will I ever do that professionally? No. That’s o.k. though. Good thing I have always loved music as I get plenty of Warrior signs that way!

Now, it’s your turn. You can’t just put yourself on a tropical island here….(ah, how nice though…) 🌴Again, this is about money but not everything is. I mean another career. Maybe you love houses and dream of selling real estate? Maybe you love T.V. and imagine becoming an actor? Whatever it is, it’s yours to imagine. Be that kid again that we all seem to forget about.

I thought about changing this topic to include personal ideas but didn’t want anyone regretting relationships with significant others or possibly having kids! Some things we may regret but know they are life lessons getting you to where you are now. There are shared traits of course between us all. Don’t all of us want to be financially secure? To be happy? Healthy? Of course we do and we all should.

Nowadays, people will have multiple jobs over the course of their professional life. Quite possibly gone are the days of securing that elusive job with your college degree and sustaining it for 40+ years until retirement. Some may still do this but is becoming a rarity anymore with all of society’s changes. Who knows how it’ll be for my kids? Time will tell, they’ll have detours but we must never stop imagining.

I’m not saying “daydreaming” to the point of depression. No pity at all with the “wonder what my life would’ve been like?… ” scenario. Nope! Just fun here. Look at all Warrior did with his imagination without some ideas initially at all. You can be that way too. I have and our brains need that sometimes. Just remember to stay in the present moment since that’s what we have. To think about the past or future is fine but not for too long as I’ve said before.

As I sign off for a bit, enjoy your time imagining warriors. Even if just for a day. Be that kid with all the dreams however they are! πŸ§šπŸ’«πŸ˜΄

P.S. Keep running warriors and I will too! Send 2019 out with some FUN (:

My Psychic Visit πŸ’™πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’–

O.K. Settle down naysayers… Don’t let this title overwhelm you warriors. I am sure there are skeptics out there regarding psychics and you have every right to be. My visit came about as a result of knowing this friend for a few years and also after many months of inner work. I am not nor will I ever be someone to just sit with a psychic medium at a fair, mall, or other event on a whim. This was a personal private session at her house.

I decided to finally make an appointment with her but only after some conditions could be met in my mind. You should consider these as well if wanting to visit a psychic on your own. First, I believe trust is so important and doing this without that wouldn’t work for me. Second, you need to become detached to any information or possible outcomes. This is so hard but a challenge for me considering my main reason in seeing her. You fans will know. Yes, it did mostly involve Warrior. Remember though, we always have free will and spirits will not tell you what to do. It’s all about guidance or “nudges.”

Psychic mediums aren’t for predictions in the way some think but many believe that to be the reason in sitting with one. You need to use your own intuition and interpret messages in the way that works for you. Some ask about relationships, health, love, money, or a career but I wasn’t. At least not really. Some may even need to piece together a puzzle with clues possibly meant for another. You need to figure that out yourself.

Even though I had some past spirit visit dreams with others, never would I have pursued this without Warrior’s passing. Never. The reasons were more clear to me than ever before. Anyone can connect in spirit to passed loved ones or those you have a connection with. It’s all about your believing mind with right intentions. I never doubt messages from those in spirit. They only have your best interests at heart and never lie. Most fans will know how honest Warrior was and still is!

Messages from a spirit to a medium can be crystal clear information or just bits and pieces. You must be open-minded and relaxed. Before my appointment with her, I wasn’t feeling too well at all. It was nothing contagious and I really wasn’t that nervous. She validated my spiritual energy and symptoms as I was in such awe. I had sat with a few others before ( not on a whim) who read cards but never just my energy and possibly connecting with those in spirit. My paternal Grandmother and father -in-law both had messages for me but then it was Warrior’s turn.

I was so patient as she proceeded asking about the man in my book (Spirit and Belief.) My friend knows a little of my background but not much. Once I said yes, she wanted to know his name. I told her he had it legally changed to Warrior but she saw a letter “J” in her mind. I kept thinking Jim and then she related how he was saying “James.” There was someone else with him identified as “Joe” but I am not aware of this name. It could be his Dad or Grandpa? I’m not sure.., Just a guess…

Tears came for me then as he proceeded to work thru her. He related to being “a great big giant.” I laughed thinking of Andre the Giant but Warrior and I do have quite the height difference. I am only 5’2″. He also said “military school” but all I could think of was how active the WWE has always been with the military. She agreed that was probably the connector. Warrior always supported the military and our veterans.

He shared how proud he is of the book while I am continuing his legacy. I was told to keep writing my blogs too. She heard the word “feathers” and saw an image of a goose. Warrior’s main signs for me are sending feathers and giving me goosebumps– A LOT! I have other signs but those remain a huge influence.

She told me some more information about him and I but it is extremely personal. Let’s just say a lot more makes sense now and validation was deeply evident spiritually in my life. You may not believe or possibly think she was just telling me what I wanted to hear. I assure you she knew nothing if very little about my connection with Warrior. She has not read the book but does know about my blogs.

The very specific things she told me were incredibly unbelievable and I was completely overwhelmed in a different way. She revealed much more about my journey than I ever imagined. She even stated how I passed in a previous life. This is another belief but it totally resonated with me. I had to do some extra research as some terms she said were new to my understanding. My spiritual life is so heart centered and my purpose remains the same. To educate and inspire just like Warrior did with many fans over the years is what I need to keep doing. I am doing it in the way that works for me.

This isn’t to share my psychic visit in a bragging way at all. I am not a person to ask for help as some may know. You can connect to loved ones in spirit with or without a psychic. She barely even charged me as some will overcharge and prove to be not genuine. My friend has been doing this most of her adult life and even has had gifts since childhood. Her credentials speak volumes. Warrior knew of my plan to see her and a third party sometimes works well as they are gifted in many ways.

It was beautiful and amazing all at once. She also knew some specific details about my car accident over 19 years ago. I hadn’t said any real information but she described images. I have blogged about that accident on both. I even began a new healthy detox regimen which is working well. We could all use more organics!

I am linking my YouTube video on this visit as some prefer watching and listening over reading. It is all your choice warriors if visiting a psychic is right for you. Just think it through first. If you want to go on a whim, that’s up to you. Psychic mediums get a bad rap sometimes but if you do the work first, research a little, and release fears to trust, the guidance will be ultimately yours. Mine was so humbling since in James I will always believe…..

Should You See A Psychic?” (11:49)

What Do YOU Want warriors?

I guess this question is so broad but for some of you warriors, it can be easy. We all want the same basic things really. A good life, love, health, family, happiness, a career, a great place to live, and all that. Once you attain those goals, then what? Are you satisfied or do you crave more? Money can buy you some things but it won’t lead to true happiness. Warrior said that the richest people in the world are the most unhappy. Why is that when they probably have everything they want, right?

Wrong. That’s just stuff. We need to feel good about ourselves first and then all the wants will come afterwards. However you go for what you want, FEEL good about it first. Take those actions the way that works for you, not how someone else dictates. Be true to YOU! Think about how Warrior approached his character in the WWE. If you aren’t familiar, he had detours before he got there but wanted to succeed the way that worked for him despite naysayers.

There is no right or wrong way to achieve what you want. The way to go is entirely up to your vision of attaining your goals. Always will there be those who question the whys of your path but with deep conviction as warriors, we stay on it. Why do we not cave? Because we are warriors, that’s why.

My choices get questioned often when not fully embracing the “business side” of being a spiritual coach or entrepreneur. I found this woman online who promised me an extra $10,000 a month and hundreds of clients if I’d work with her and do it her way. Realistically, she could not guarantee those numbers at all and seemed shocked that I turned her down. After a few lengthy emails, I realized what a fraud she was and so relieved not to be duped. The money sounds great and could help my family but that isn’t how I want to influence people. Getting paid for a service or product– yes, but it isn’t the amount of money that appeals to me.

I will be a coach the best way to others in how to get my messages out there. Then, things happen. This is similar to Warrior not wanting a belt like I’ve said before. Many could not understand that either. Our way doesn’t have to be accepted or liked, just respected. Warrior wanted his character to find success in other ways just like he did later in life. He could’ve stayed in the business of wrestling and had tons more money or recognition but he didn’t.

We follow our passions and pursue them from a place of feeling first. Most of us get this wrong. We think that once we get everything we want, then we’ll truly be happy. No, warriors it’s the opposite. If you feel good with positivity, confidence, and trusting yourself, then those goals become a reality. You will achieve your dreams if you change your mindset to this new way of thinking.

We are trained to be better, to do more, get ahead, and compete in society. The truth is that we need to be grateful for what we do have and sit with it for a while. You can plan like I’ve mentioned before but sometimes becoming reflective is a must. Our hearts and minds need to slow down and be present in each moment. We are always in a rush, crossing off those “to-do” lists, and crushing goals is great. It is also o.k. to do nothing for a bit. I had personal and professional ideas that I did accomplish but again, then what?

I am learning to not always go, go, go and appreciate all the little things first. We have all done things in life that get overlooked so the question remains of what do YOU want warriors? I for one know what I want, I already have so then anything extra that comes is a bonus.

Whatever your answer is to that question warriors– really think about it. What you want is already inside you like Warrior himself always said. Go for it but honor yourself by feeling good first. The stuff doesn’t matter as much as the FEELING behind it does. The passions of the heart are worth more than any dollar amount always. πŸ’™πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

P.S. The photo of Warrior above was at the end of The Ultimate Collection DVD where he says how he “has lived up to the man named Warrior.”

Be Spontaneous warriors

*** This post is a few days early as I have some other important matters coming up…

Are you spontaneous warriors or are you more of a planner? Perhaps you are both. I’m always about a balance but am sure you know your traits by now. I myself am more of a planner like Warrior was ( and still is!) but spontaneity sneaks in too sometimes. Some feel being spontaneous is ultimately freeing while to some it feels like all will go wrong. Hmmm, which is it?

I’ll share a few little positives about being spontaneous. This story is in my book Spirit and Belief and I did blog it a few years back. It’s a perfect example so I’ll abbreviate just a little. Back in 2016, many dreams started coming and one was about Warrior’s wife Dana. I decided on a whim to contact her on the website and did right before a yoga class. When I returned, an email was waiting for me in my inbox from Dana! I was floored and totally stunned. Am sure she wouldn’t do this today.

That printed email sits proudly on my dresser where I can read it everyday. That was being spontaneous with a great result. O.K., maybe not totally but I did it without any expectations at all.

Even though much of pro-wrestling is scripted, some things of course are not. They never know what the crowd will say or do. The athletes in the ring may respond or maybe they won’t. When The Ultimate Warrior insulted Hulk Hogan on an episode of WCW’s Nitro back in August 1998, spontaneity brought much fun. At least it was for me. Warrior began a speech and the crowd started chanting: “Hogan Sucks!” many times. He silenced them by raising his hand and saying: “Let’s talk about something he doesn’t know!” To think some people didn’t see Warrior’s funny side. I did and it worked.

We do need both and even if a spontaneous action doesn’t work, at least you can say you went for it anyway. You can’t always fully plan everything and we need the unexpected moments too. That WCW episode also had Warrior referencing the man behind Hogan as his “barber.” It was Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake but I didn’t know then. He later became “The Disciple” as part of the NWO storyline involving Warrior. No idea if they all knew Warrior was planning that comment but it’s a reaction that becomes spontaneous. Those responses can lead to much humor.

Can you think of a spontaneous moment in your life that worked? I bet you can if you try hard enough. Just because it might’ve failed, keep that spontaneity since it helps us stay balanced. Some life decisions have to be carefully thought out and planned as am sure you know. We can’t just run around amuck without any direction or guidance. Warrior referenced this as Eric Bischoff wanted the WCW to be spontaneous but it wasn’t working too well. Nowadays, no one can even just crash at a hotel for the night before making a reservation ahead of time.

If we’re too cautious, opportunities may pass us by but if we plan everything, the fun goes away. I’m not saying to take too many leaps of faith here but just small ones on occasion. If I never would’ve agreed to be set up on a blind date with my husband, we may never have met. The same can be said about Dana meeting Warrior. Sure, she wanted to get her resume out there but wasn’t intimidated by him and took that chance at his gym. These encounters might have bombed for both of us but they didn’t. Even if they did, I would never abandon taking a chance with spontaneity and am sure Dana wouldn’t either.

It’s all in your mindset warriors. Some decisions can’t be undone and may have bad results because of spontaneity. Those are lessons learned which make us stronger for the next time. As warriors, it can be a challenge since we get fixated on how it needs to be. It isn’t all or nothing even though it may seem that way,

Warrior was an extreme person and planned many aspects on how he wanted his life to go. There were “bumps” along the way but there were also moments of spontaneity– rare as it was. I wanted to find some old WWF bloopers with him but couldn’t find any! Sure, there are plenty of videos out there that are extremely funny but very few moments with him. Some former wrestlers have discussed his humor so it does exist! If anyone has some, let me know since I’d love to see them. Dana has also mentioned his silliness so I always loved hearing those stories as well.

Be spontaneous warriors even just sometimes. You’ll have good antics to share and it’ll bring out your funny side. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œ We need planning but the fun needs to be part of that tag team too! Warrior has given me some funny spontaneous moments as a spirit and he knows my humor by now. Find that balance to work for you warriors and always believe in spontaneity. Just not ALL the time… πŸ˜‰

The Lion King πŸ¦πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ’™

“It’s enough for this restless warrior just to be with you.”

~~ Can You Feel the Love Tonight

~~ The Lion King, 1994, Elton John

Can you believe this movie was first released by Disney 25 years ago? With that milestone, the Broadway musical came to my hometown along with releasing a live action movie this past summer. The Lion King has always been one of my favorite Disney animated cartoons of the more modern era. Once I saw it would be here in August around our anniversary, I bought us tickets!

I remember going to the theater with my mom and sister back in ’94. There was such silence after Mufasa died as this little boy said: “Is he dead?” Oh, the memories.. I hope that boy liked the end. Guess who else loved this movie? That’s right– Warrior himself! Yes, I know the word warrior is in that song up above but not a clue on his personal pics for movies.

He mentioned this in one of his many YouTube videos but I can’t remember which one! Trust me on this or I wouldn’t have a story. The musical was ultimately spectacular and we loved it. Of course it isn’t identical to the animated version as some newer songs were added. If you do get the chance to see it, PLEASE go!You won’t be disappointed.

This theater was packed and I did get a little smile as that song played– the restless warrior is so true indeed. Shortly after that, my right ear started ringing REALLY LOUD. I had to cup my hand over it to hear better. That is one of my spiritual signs and in that loud theater, I heard it. Was Warrior there and acknowledging this performance? I always believe. After all, he loved The Lion King too so it’s only natural for him to attend. (: Spirits like to be part of our fun events too but we were there for our anniversary! It was technically the next day but humor struck again.., 😳

After intermission, we decided to stand for the second act. Our knees were buckling and I needed to stretch my legs badly. We found spaces in the back behind the last row where the ushers stood. I was on the aisle and had much more room. Shortly after the first few dramatic scenes, goosebumps filled my arms and legs. Yep, another sign yet again, WOW! Warrior WAS there since that’s a biggie with him. Ever so slowly, I inched a little to my right so there was a spot for him. He can stand next to me and my husband– how cool!!

Some of you probably think I’m a little nutty here and I respect that. I wasn’t sure to even share this as it concerns my husband but how do I not recognize the obvious signs from Warrior? No way could I ignore them. I’d want to go down as a spirit too! It was so incredible knowing we had yet another “like” in common.

I never even questioned those signs at all since they are quite common for me. Even if you aren’t in touch with spiritual vibes, we should always learn something new as much as we can. Warrior said this many times. I know I do everyday. That stone in the photo is one of my new crystals. I loved it right away after picking it up from a giant barrel at a recent Healing Expo. It’s a Botswana Agate. There are many agates but this one is native to Africa. Don’t you love the colors?

How perfect for me to find that since The Lion King is gee… about Africa! Also, I’ve mentioned bloodstone before as being a “warrior stone” but let me share this about my new agate:

“Strength of a warrior, aids in protection.” (during battle)~~ We can use the battle to mean many things besides a physical war but again NO IDEA about this African Botswana Agate Stone. I know how to pick ‘um, don’t I? It really is enough for my restless warrior just to be with me. I really always feel the love with or without stones or ya know– a big ‘ol musical…

P.S. My favorite Lion King song is:

“I Just Can’t Wait to be King.” It’s so fun with those two young lion cubs. How about some lyrics?:

“I’m gonna be the main event…”

“Free to run around…”

“Free to do it all my way.”

“Everywhere you look I’m standing in the spotlight!”

Ummm… sounds kinda like someone I know, πŸ˜‰ Some people didn’t want to be “King of the Ring” though…. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘‘πŸ€Όβ€β™‚οΈ

Longevity’s Long Life

If you’ve been with me on this journey, you know how important longevity is by now. I have a similar post mixing in with CORE values on my other site where you can find more ideas here:

www.spiritandbelief.com~~ that idea was posted last week 10/14/19.

I bet all of you have favorite stuff. Ya know– foods, T.V. shows, holidays, performers, a color perhaps… Please tell me you have a few? Some things we might outgrow or modify somewhat but then there are those that remain. How about values you admire? You probably know where I’m headed on this one.

Let me share a little experiment I did a few years back. After Warrior passed– many months in made me realize things needed to improve emotionally for me. I questioned the intense grief like I mentioned but knew moving past it was my best option. I had to go thru it to get beyond. I literally remember for several days in a row waking up, undoing the covers, putting my feet on the floor, and saying: “Today’s the day, yep this is it. From now on I won’t be interested in exploring my feelings anymore or seeing where they could go. I won’t want to watch the DVD any longer or look at the book, YouTube videos, nothing. Yes, siree Warrior will remain in my heart but my emotions are done.” This went on for about a week.

Guess what? I didn’t work– as you probably can tell… Maybe I needed more time? Maybe the shock was still there? Sure, I loved my memories but they aren’t part of my life, are they? Psst… they still are and always will remain. Of course I didn’t HAVE to do those things associated with him but I felt intuition always slamming me down to the mat in a way. I finally figured out the why.

Longevity=Core Values. That’s it warriors. Have you ever done my experiment with something in your life? I compared it on my other blog to pizza ( sounds simple…) Would you wake up one day and just decide to not like pizza anymore? NOPE. ( sub pizza for whatever you wish) O.K., maybe you want to eat healthier or have other toppings but I gotta say that developing a dislike similar is a rarity. It could happen but your “reasons” get squashed with true feelings.

What attributes or traits make up longevity and core values to you? Even when you were a kid and it’s still in your life, it counts. Some stuff leaves, comes back, and you feel the same. Maybe you’re thinking how in the world can pizza compare to a person? Good question… It’s ALL part of what makes YOU who YOU are. Alright, you don’t value pizza like a person but is it part of your longevity? You bet it is! Can things change? Sure they can but you always have the choice to decide that yourself.

I won’t detail all the longevity lists Warrior and I have as you can archive my many previous posts. πŸ˜‰ Also, I have a Pros/Cons Warrior List youtube video if you want to check that out on my channel. πŸ’™ The truth is IT DOES MATTER like he always said. You need to be the one to figure out why. Even with smaller ideas and everything you’re drawn to since people, places, and things makes no difference.

***If you decide something or someone no longer serves a purpose in your life, let it or them go. If they no longer impact or inspire you, they are not part of your vast longevity or core.

Kids never question their interests as this topic has kinda been brought up before. It just needs to be more specific with the whys and most of us don’t do that. Who has time for this? I knew some similarities with Warrior and myself but always went deeper. I am so glad I did or these writings wouldn’t exist nor would my book or anything connected. We all need to do this with things that truly matter to us. You can ask yourself the pizza questions but then go further. It can be quite the eye-opener and perhaps even FUN if you allow it to be!

Longevity and core values will have a long life if you continue to follow your beliefs always. Like attracts like and we are guided by what interests us. Sometimes we may not see the bigger picture at first but then it will come together. OWN your longevity and fight like a warrior for it! You can create it, nurture it, watch it grow, and make it YOU. I am proud to list my many qualities of longevity and without a doubt know that Warrior will always be part of my CORE. It DOES Matter..,

P.S. Here are some of my Longevity or Core things: music, flowers, the color pink, summer, swimming, biking, reading, writing!, fitness, time alone, coffee, nature, and many more! ** Of course vivid dreaming, and spirituality πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’– ** The afterword of my book Spirit and Belief lists deeper ones! YES, I do like πŸ•!

P. P. S. People are different obviously but you can apply professional and personal traits of longevity with anyone or anything! Why do you like certain people or things? Make your lists! It’s YOUR core of longevity–

Always Ultimate!!! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ“£

Wild Warrior (Buffalo) Woman

“They say dreams are the window of the soul–take a peek and you can see the inner workings…” ~~ Henry Bromell

Isn’t this title so majestic sounding? I tend to think so. Let me share how today’s post came to be. I’ll back up a little by saying– yes, buffalo or bison are described in that Totem Animal book of a few weeks ago. They are a symbol of prosperity and spirituality so here we go with another dream… 😴

I was on a movie set in this dream where Warrior was filming a documentary on buffaloes! Huh? He definitely was interested in these great creatures of the Northern Plains and I was involved with his project. WOW… First, we were teaching together and now working on a movie. I wonder where we’ll be next? I still don’t know my role with this buffalo movie but I’ll take it. Dana was also there but I never interacted with either of them, just the director.

The director decided to show me around the set with a golf cart ride! We were almost done when I saw a little girl sitting by herself. She seemed kinda sad, almost lost really. This girl totally looked like the girl in the first Santa Clause movie at the soccer field. She just knew he was Santa and all these kids formed a line. You can look that up… Anyway, the director told her we’d be back to pick her up later but she still seemed confused. That was how I felt just a little. πŸ€”

We returned and Dana was in an area with a backdrop around her while holding a baby and my first thought was Indy. ( their firstborn daughter) I made this connection since in the book “A Life Lived Forever” Indy signs her name in the letter to her Dad as white warrior buffalo.” White Warrior Buffalo Woman teaches relationships between the material and spiritual worlds. Again, my observation but hey– dreams all serve a purpose. Dana just spoke to the baby while waiting her turn.

Next, I saw Warrior wearing a jacket with a huge American Eagle on the back. It was all red, white, and blue but hand stitched. Think U.S.A. flag colors. So very cool! He had his long blond hair and held a script in his hand. I could see him gesturing and talking to several people. This documentary was gonna ultimate!! Again, I never went up to him and he never spoke to me.

The buffaloes were not that far off in the distance as I looked thru the windows. They were so powerful roaming near the mountains. It was then that the director handed me my OWN script which contained info on all the people involved. I found my byline and this is what it read: “Even with yoga, she is a wild warrior woman.” There HAD to be other credentials but that’s the part I remember. Yes, there are warrior yoga poses! I found the director and was upset that it seemed to mention yoga as being, ya know– not a big deal to me. He said I got it all wrong and that the yoga was a good thing. Oh, so grateful for that explanation.

The wild woman part totally connected me to another book I mentioned last year. Remember Women Who Run With The Wolves? Sub buffaloes! I’m still in the book club and it mentions warrior archetypes throughout(: Despite all this, the mystery remained as to my real involvement with our beautiful buffalo documentary. I mean O.K., they are spiritual animals and I loved seeing them in South Dakota a few summers ago. We even have them here in Ohio. Obviously, I was not there as an “expert” by any means!

I also was not an “extra” at all since they don’t really get a byline, do they? Well, no idea how this project got finished but it was incredible having been part of it all. I just so hoped that little girl found her way back to the set! Also, so hoped to get a scene or two with Warrior and Dana but knowing they came in this dream for me is truly a gift. I always treasure everything so maybe I just had to believe after all. πŸ™πŸ»

Can you picture Warrior working on a project like this? I gotta say it was great seeing him being so creative and allowing me in alongside his warrior buffalo tribe. β€οΈπŸ’™

P.S. My title of this post is like a dot.com (minus the b for buffalo!)

P.P.S. I like HHH as well as WWW since I always have these three:

H=humility

H=humor

H=heart

** The man HHH (Paul Levesque) is also pretty cool too! BTW–He helped bring Warrior back to the WWE. πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ’™

The Telling of Titles

Do you have a title alongside your name? It seems that we all do with regards to Mr., Ms. or anything similar. How about all those professional titles or degrees we acquire over the years? We work our way up the “corporate ladder” from an assistant to possibly president of a company someday. Does that mean everything to you in business? Or, could you take it and leave it?

In the WWE or other related forms of sports entertainment, the titles and belts MEAN something. It’s what you attain for at the top of your game. The WWE currently has 18 title championships. 18! I had to look that up what with the many brands in the business nowadays. Back when I watched, there were only a few titles and each show didn’t have their own division with belts. Are those titles important for you to see around your favorite’s waist? A title doesn’t mean you are better off for having one. You may have earned it but is it ALL of you?

Fame, money, recognition and all that go hand in hand but it also depends on your version of that success. Warrior was very different with not wanting a belt to prove his worth to fans. He even said: “I don’t need a belt… I don’t need it.” That was outrageous for an athlete to even utter those words. He did after all win those titles but didn’t necessarily want that to be the primary focus of his character.

It can and does mean so much more to others in different ways. How about you? Sure, we need success for our livelihood but is being at the top always the end goal? Hmmm… One to think about for sure. Even if you are “the boss,” you have to ask yourself why you wanted that title in the first place. Some may want it to prove they can get it (like WWE performers) but others may want it for power or to be liked. If you aren’t liked as a boss or champion, many could be jealous of your position. Maybe you aren’t a good boss or champ anyway.

The “claim to fame” has both positives and negatives as does working towards that elusive title. Am sure you fans would still follow your favorites with or without a title, belt, or “strap” as Warrior called it. I know I did. Of course, I loved when U.W. proved his worth by obtaining a belt but it was never just that with me. Ever. My emotions were better when he didn’t have one as I’ve said before.

Back in the day, very few performers had the chance of winning a championship title. Such a challenge with competition between those selected. Now, it’s almost the entire roster of talent that is able to vie for a title. Is this better or worse? It all depends on how you look at it but again, we all evolve.

When you are able to look back on something– what is it you remember most? Career goals will differ from personal ones but those titles may creep in. You should be proud of professional success however, don’t forget to let the REAL you shine. ✨

I have seen many twitter bios on some profile pages of former wrestlers. Not that I’m looking but we have followers in common. Some mention their pro career, some list their life now, and some use both. My page is mostly professional since that is why I use twitter. Other social media is more personal with family life. I happen to love those guys who list the NOW more. You can have your own opinion, this is just mine.

Is it that important to list you being a champ 11, 12, or more times? Maybe it is for them but true fans are loyal despite that number. My memories of any Superstar back then never just revolved around winning a title or even how many times. The titles do matter, don’t misunderstand here and of course famous people’s bios will differ from us regular folks.

Warrior’s greatest contributions that he was MOST proud of are his daughters. I totally agree. One’s personal life should always come before one’s professional life. However that looks for you– believe in the personal titles. They hold much more meaning than any “strap” ever will. πŸ’–

P.S. I didn’t have Twitter before Warrior passed so no idea what his bio was. I can guess though!

P.P.S. I value my personal titles more than pro ones I accomplished. On that, Warrior and I agree- yet again.,,

** Here are some of mine to get you started on your own:

~~~Wife, Mother, yogi, blogger, speaker, gardener, cook, singer, swimmer, cyclist, etc… All personal. Not professional.
