The Mythology Of Heroes

Happy New Year~~ 2019 Warrior fans! I have missed this so with the Holidays over, gear up for more Warrior stories! This one gradually came to me as a little idea until it got launched like a ROCKET into my thoughts! 🚀 Yet another concept of Warrior’s that I too connected with. Mythology and all its Gods, Goddesses, and Demi-Gods always fascinated me in school. I first read their stories in 7th grade. Funny how that grade wasn’t one of my favorites and now I remember some good stuff!

When first putting this blog post together, I knew there was a report in high school saved up in the attic as we studied mythology again in 9th grade. I found it and laughed looking thru my drawings and hand written descriptions! 😜 Well, that was GOING to be my photo until something Ultimate happened… I put it aside and then when looking for it—- it was totally GONE! Seriously warriors, it completely disappeared. I ransacked my entire room and knew right where I put it. It seems like I never even got it down.,,

Maybe those Gods are tricking me? ⚡️I got tired of looking so finally remembered this photo of these two heroes back then. Let’s just say the book was not a big loss but I was proud of it or it wouldn’t have been kept. I really can’t say when my fascination began with these myths but one story led into the next as my imagination soared. From Zeus to Hera, Aphrodite, Athena, Hades, Ares, Poseidon, and many others whose influence we still use today.

Do you know the expression “Pandora’s Box?” How about your Achilles heel? There were the Greeks, Romans, and Norse myths liked how Thursday is named for Thor. I bet most of you know that superhero made popular in the movies. Plus, many of our planets are named after those legendary gods.

That brings us to two Gods that resemble Warrior. At least to me anyway. Anyone know? Come on…. If you know some stories am sure you can guess. The winners are: Hercules and Atlas. Perhaps for some obvious reasons but ONE trait they all have in common is endurance. Really, it’s true.

Tony Schiavone (former commentator for the WWE) even said the Ultimate Warrior had “super human strength” and that is one of the top qualities of Hercules. Plus, he wrestled everybody! I loved the show Hercules The Legendary Journeys in the late 90’s but let’s continue…

Hercules was the only god to become a hero after his death although he was a demi-god. He was known for his bravery and speed but had excessive self-confidence. Often times he struggled with evil impulses while trying to remain true to his heart. You can look up all his great stories but some of these ideas pertained to Warrior in many ways. No, not all the time but definite similarities. I know Herc’s stories well after following the show plus some movies made.

Let’s move to Atlas. His “punishment” was to carry the pillars of heaven and earth as a test of strength– Hercules had many of these too as they teamed up to fight Zeus. It’s the expression of “having the weight of the world on your shoulders.” This of course was in line with Warrior and how he approached body-building and then using his gorilla press slams as a wrestler. Warrior depicted this trait of Atlas throughout his entire adult life and career. To me, he didn’t ever need to feel the weight of the world upon him as I hope he knows that now in spirit.

The weight of the world came upon Tony Atlas as well since like Warrior, he too was a body builder. Tony went on to win Mr. USA and became well known in the WWE with his famous gorilla slams similar to Warrior. The name Atlas fit him perfectly. You can also contact an atlas to find out about the world which depicts maps of Earth. According to mythology, Atlas was a Titan and that thought stated in my mind…

Titan Sports was that thought as I read up on the name behind WWE. I wanted to know why that name was chosen but couldn’t locate that specifically. Vince McMahon founded Titan Sports back in 1980 after other wrestling business connections ended. He took the old WWF name further than his father and grandfather before him. The name connects with this post! Mythological? I always believe.

Well, there’s my connection to mythology, heroes, and Warrior. I never forgot those stories and can still recall my favorites today. Very similar to Warrior and all his heroic battles in the ring including his earliest competitor the character of Hercules. Why do ideas stay in our heads? Obviously the Universe has other plans as to why we remember what we do.

Here’s my LAST connection and it does involve something quite common for me now spiritually. Remember that I always believe… Once my obsession waned some on looking for my school report, I did put the thought aside or so I thought.

When writing out ideas for this post, it was time for my workout so had to leave it unfinished for a bit. I went down to the basement and began on the elliptical machine. Great songs on Pandora the whole way but then out of nowhere I asked Warrior: “Did you take my report“? Why was that thought back on my brain again? Why would I ask that of Warrior? My brain obviously knew what I couldn’t believe at first. As soon as those words left my mouth, the light WENT OUT! I was laughing so hard and could barely finish without cramping. It did come back on as the song “Two Steps Behind” by Def Leppard was playing. A beautiful yet perfect song. Lights on, Lights off yet again. Check out that post archived if new here. 😏 The light actually went on and off twice as I questioned the gods up above!! Really, this truly happened. I joked thinking perhaps I’d hear thunder or go see some lightning outside but no!

Does Warrior plan on rewriting my report or maybe even putting better art in? I make my jokes but seriously– it’s totally gone. I’ll let you all know if it turns up somewhere but that light gave me an answer that’s for sure!! I am utterly wowed.. Maybe he’s upset that Hercules and Atlas aren’t in it? Guess they weren’t part of my mindset back then. It’s all good fun as my spiritual connection with Warrior grows stronger all the time. He doesn’t need the physical strength of a god to be truly genuine to me. ❤️ Learn about these legendary myths since you just might not forget a great story like I never did and never will!!!

~~~ P.S. Giant Gonzalez was also a wrestler in the WWE and part of the movie Hercules in the Underworld. (Which I own!)

Happy Undertaker Halloween! 🎃😳☠️👻😈

Happy Halloween Warrior fans! I had planned on using a photo from the June 2, 1991 Body Bag Match between the Ultimate Warrior vs. the Undertaker but then saw these masks! This was a much better choice for me since really, I didn’t want to use that match of Warrior being paralyzed or put in a body bag at the end..😮

Let’s back up a few years with some funny Undertaker moments. I decided to wait until Halloween since well, I think you probably know why! At first, the Undertaker was never a person I would choose to write about as previously mentioned but hey– it’s all good now and they were friends.

A year or so after Warrior passed, my son panicked about not having a current library book to use at school. He had finished his first one and needed another for tomorrow, ugh! Last minute doesn’t work with this Mama… Off to the library we went and started browsing the stacks. Once again, a library moment but I’ll take it.

He was on one end and I wandered off a little next to him. My eyes were intent on finding this series or author he liked but then my gaze turned upward. Right in front of me standing straight up on this shelf was a biography in the kids section of WWE’s Undertaker! That character always brings up bad memories for me but for the first time ever, I smiled and thought of all the library stuff I had seen since Warrior’s passing. Another right place, right time moment.

I did open it up which many years ago would never have given a second look. I took a photo and sent it to my brother with the same caption used frequently back then: “I can’t go anywhere!” It was a funny yet frenzied and unexpected library time.

The next Undertaker moment came after I purchased the “Ultimate Collection” DVD and it has an interesting twist only recently noticed. When I bought the DVD of course it had to be new without any previous views. It had never been opened or watched before so I was set.

Some parts were skipped like you-know-who but also WMVI among a few others I had seen bunches or had on VHS already. The day came when I decided to finally watch those parts just to see it all thru to the end. I got to that match between U.W. and U.T. and about halfway into the “snoozefest” (it really was!) the DVD started skipping. You know what I mean right? That happens after a while when you watch something over and over but this was new!

Somebody up there knows my feelings about U.T. so– come to your own conclusion… 🤣 Guess I wasn’t supposed to watch that whole match as it skipped thru most of it. I couldn’t believe this while just laughing so hard to myself. I had never even watched that before, ever… Those electronic devices sure are tricky! Very little times would anyone catch me watching that match or even the Funeral Parlor before it on the DVD. I do love Randy and Roddy’s commentary since they save me! 😜😬

So, let’s move ahead to now and just a few weeks ago. Decided to see if indeed the “skipping part” was still there but before I even got to the match– the Funeral Parlor part was skipping! ⚰️ Whaaat??? I barely have watched that but hey, fine by me! I did go ahead to the match and it wasn’t skipping at all. Now, it’s the Parlor’s turn, hmm…. Remember the “Lights on, Lights off” post relating to Undertaker? Could these both have some funny Warrior energy attached to them? It sure makes me laugh since he knows my stories now.

Going back to early October, my husband, daughter, and I were at the Halloween store. I saw these U.T. masks. Your thoughts really do manifest sometimes. I was actually thinking of my next blog post while there… Um, why??? I didn’t want to use a match photo and then I saw the masks! Problem solved yet again. When I went to put one back after looking at it, the plastic hook broke– figures….

Have a FUN yet SOOOKY Halloween, maybe I’ll see someone with an Undertaker mask on! Just no hearing GONG music… 🙄💩

100 Warrior Writings

Well, Warrior fans, we’ve come upon another milestone. It’s official that these writings have reached 100 posts. WordPress told me that number happened a few weeks ago but that was including photos I posted without text. That doesn’t count for me but this does.

I was thinking of so many things to include like: “100 reasons…” or “Best Warrior quotes ever…” but then that just sounded so self-indulgent. I wasn’t even jumping up and down or wanting to shout it from the rooftops. Nope, not my style. It’s extremely humbling thinking this all began for me in the summer of June 2016 outside in my hammock. Never did I think blog at the time, or book, or even going longer than a year! I was ready to “retire” this blog last December before beginning my new one at: www.spiritandbelief.com in January.

Warrior kept going and inspiring me with so much to tell. 2 years, 40 countries, and all of YOU. 100 posts. I can’t even begin to comprehend all these writings and how it has impacted me. I sure hope you have been touched in some way or at least in the “Warrior way.”

I’m linking one of my favorite YouTube videos of him and there are sooo many but am sure some of you fans have your favorites also. Feel free to share them with me or connect on here, YouTube, Twitter, or however you wish! I love them all but definitely have my faves.

Two Warrior Years and Counting…….

Well, Warrior fans– it’s been just about two years (tomorrow!) since I began these writings. I want to thank Warrior, his wisdom, humor, and all of YOU for following or being fans. I was thinking of a way to sum up these few years but couldn’t quite find a category that interested me. First, a list intrigued me as to why my longevity with him continues but think that’s been covered… The next idea was to ask you fans to express your memories or why he continues inspiring today but realized that’s tough getting others to share.

The last thing I thought of was to list why or how this whole “spirit relationship” came to be with him but yet again, I’ve mentioned numerous things in the past. The whole list is in the afterword of my book Spirit and Belief.

What I will share is some of the MOST important things he has taught me and what I have learned. Some have always been in my life but I just needed to get amped up into who I really am. Some surprised the crap out of me while others just made sense. So, guess it’s a list after all but here’s the MAIN EVENT:

~~~ Get inspired and be the Inspiration

~~~ Follow Your Own Intuition

~~~ Do The Work Everyday

~~~ Everyday is a Gift, use it wisely

~~~ Your Life Matters

I have mentioned many of these already and some overlap but just thought they looked great in a list. Realistically though, I could add a dozen more but those will suffice for now. Do you use or believe in any of these? Even if others have said these statements, I sure hope you can apply them in your life. Warrior was over the top but did always explain how he wanted to motivate and educate people in order to become disciplined. It isn’t always the physical but the mental as well– all the time.

Not much is new but once I started my spiritual journey, all of his mentality on that came back. The funny statement might be surprising to some but just read some other blog posts of mine or the book and you’ll get it! I knew some of that years ago but it’s a different perspective now. Check out the podcast he made back in 2007. It’s on the Ultimate Warrior YouTube channel. He mentions his humor A LOT!

I had no clue how much of an inspiration he would truly become and how his messages worked thru me to tell these stories. Whoever your inspiration is, keep it going so you can one day be that to someone else. Who knows what path your life will take?

I also want to thank Dana, her girls, and Steve for their willingness to honor Warrior’s legacy while sharing memories always with us. They know what it means to be the warrior you are meant to be with whatever life gives you. That message is for all of us and one we should never forget.

These past 4.5 years since Warrior’s passing are extremely surreal and hard to comprehend. I have constantly moved forward and still am humbled with my incredible journey. Also, this blog is very close to having 100 posts. I will continue writing as I hope you continue reading. Remember that list warriors and pick your favorites. I really can’t. If I had to, I’ll quote the last line from the intro on his Ultimate Collection DVD: “Slay all the Naysayers!”

Firehouse Subs, Songs, and Warrior!

I really wanted a photo of the sub shop but didn’t want to drive by as a stalker so this menu will have to do. 🌯😳 What a funny few days this turned out to be so I hope you do some laughing like I did! 🤣 My husband and I ate dinner a few weeks ago at Firehouse Subs and they are always so yummy. Music is playing outside (so cool!!) and the song was: “Heaven is a Place on Earth” by Belinda Carlisle. I love that song especially the lyric about not being afraid anymore…. perfect. Also, have you seen the Progressive commercial with Jamie and his “singing angels” singing this song? It makes me laugh every time as I sing along…

The music inside was totally today’s hits or songs my 12 year old daughter loves but sometimes I know too. Several of them were played in a row and then I hear (OMG moment) “The Warrior” by Scandal. I almost choked on my Diet Coke while remaining calm. 😉😜 I still was thinking of an elusive Emmy Award that my feelings have earned! What a rarity to hear that song. Then, it hit me differently… First, that song always made me cry but now I laugh and second, it really sunk in as to where we were– Firehouse Subs.

I totally remember finding some old YouTube videos of Warrior’s from 1995. (think red tank top and gym for anyone searching)– which I was NOT! I believe one of the songs in the background was a Firehouse song based on some comments I read. The guy who filmed Warrior actually mentioned how Warrior loved the song “Love of a Lifetime” by Firehouse.

He also said that Warrior wore it out on a cassette tape he always listened to. I couldn’t believe what I was reading! Believe it or not, I loved that song too and taped it on one of my blank tapes! Yes, that’s what us girls did back then and yes, I did also tape “The Warrior.” I also had a personal connection with the Firehouse song which made me remember and was overwhelmed again. Hopefully, he thought of Dana with that song since it’s such a great one. I did leave a comment on that YouTube page too!

The interesting thing is that when I went to look back on that video and find those comments for this blog (just to make sure)– I couldn’t find them. Maybe they were deleted but I know what I read. Very bizarre how they disappeared but great knowing that about Warrior and the song.

The last song reference was “Missing” by Everything but the Girl. Guess what? I taped that one too and was just stunned to hear it as well at Firehouse Subs. Some of the lyrics fit with Warrior back then and now– no judging me-hehe! I can’t even remember the last time I heard that song at all so between “Missing” and “The Warrior,” they didn’t seem to fit with the regular music the shop was playing. This DOES get more interesting……

While at the hair salon the next day ( the place to be lately!) I was sitting in the chair with my hair filled foil highlights. Not many people there that day and my stylist left me for about 20 minutes to let the color sink in. I was just casually reading a magazine and the speaker plays “Missing.” Are you kidding me? To hear a song TWICE within 24 hours and not even one I hear often is cosmic! Could Warrior have been helping out a little here with his energy? I’ve been known to get so many funny things as most of you are aware.

It’s highly possible and I do have a “vibe” with music. There is constant inspiration for new blogs so who knows? I always believe and even if he wasn’t orchestrating in some way, I do laugh and talk it thru every single time. I never know if he’s around for those types of moments, watching, or listening. Some times–yes, for sure! I do check in and share my stories while picturing him laughing so hard! My goosebumps are a sure sign but they’re not always present.

That’s my story for now so I hope you are laughing and possibly believing. The Universe does play little tricks and coincidences are not what they seem. We do need humor and whether you get this whole “spirit vibe” or not, be amused with whatever life throws your way. Put aside the serious for a bit and have some fun. I needed those jokes as my “business” side with the book became overwhelming last week. You can find all my music references in my book : Spirit and Belief. Spirit and Belief News!

It’s my birthday so wanted this post to be all about the exciting events happening with my book Spirit and Belief! #thankyouWarrior

I was interviewed last night by my spiritual group — Harmonic Journeys for their podcast. I thank Mary for her friendship, support, and the conversation. Can’t wait to have it posted on here for all of you to listen! I shared my journey of spiritual gifts, Warrior stories, and where to find me. It was a great time (: I will post their link below if anyone is interested in them or the podcasts.

That was great practice for another interview I have coming soon for a nationally syndicated radio show! I was contacted by LitFire Publishing to participate in some marketing ideas for my book so am thrilled to share and educate all I can. Kate Delaney of America Tonight will be conducting the interview and I’ll post her info and bio below as well. She has interviewed people in sports, politics, (she spoke with Jesse Ventura about politics!) news, celebrities, and she is an author herself. Once that comes out, I’ll have it available and would love your feedback Warrior fans!

I am also participating in another Author Library Conference in October. This time, instead of a small table discussion with another author– there will be over 50! Very excited to converse with fellow writers and aspiring authors while sharing my spiritual journey. Who knows? Maybe I’ll get some Warrior “vibes” that day like last time!!!

“Do You Want to go Play Some Games?”

I bet you warrior fans are trying so hard connecting this title with that photo! I must admit it is kinda weird so let me explain… 😜 This story fits in the “dream” category but I love this title so much better. Plus, “The Wedding Reception Dream” sounded too much like “The Wedding Near Smoothie King” and this title is way funnier! Another dream that was very odd but decided to share it anyway. That just leaves one more I haven’t told so probably a no on that one… 😉too silly and brief!

Last May of 2017, I attended a cousin’s wedding out of town. The reception was by the lake and we all had such a great time celebrating this young couple. Fast forward about 5 months later when this “new” dream with Warrior occurred. My childhood backyard was the location of a wedding reception involving the bride’s sister of 5 months prior. Um, what? I couldn’t even remember her having a sister! Why in the world would this be the setting and for someone I didn’t even know? I have learned sometimes that doesn’t matter.

I do remember as a child always thinking of our family’s backyard to be a great space for a wedding reception. Perhaps my brain just took the last one I went to and found a new bride! I was upstairs in my old bedroom looking down at all the beautiful scenery with lots of white lights strewn about. There were tables and chairs everywhere and the party had started. Again– another question as to why I was alone looking out…? Hmm… Anyway, while spanning the crowd, I saw Warrior wearing his gray and red suit you see in the photo!

My mouth fell open as I literally flew down the stairs and out the door! Once outside, I couldn’t find him anywhere until my mom and brother pointed in the direction of where he went. Guess they were helping me out! I actually found him and realized I forgot my phone to snap a photo of us together. He seemed rushed as a man was ushering him elsewhere but said he’d be right back. What in the world was going on? Why was he even here?

That gave me time to go all the way back and grab my phone. I found him again in the crowd and said what a fan I was (am) while probably babbling incoherently, who knows???!!! 😀😆 We took a few photos ( so awesome in most of these dreams!) but then I asked why he was here as he didn’t know anyone. I was so confused but all he did was laugh without really answering me.

Before the dream ended, he asked me: “Do You Want to go Play Some Games?” The couple were video game arcade fanatics and there were many placed throughout the yard. I couldn’t believe he was asking me this while no mention of wrestling, his life now, family, or anything else. I just stood there not fully knowing what to say as he walked in the direction of the games. I followed him towards that area and woke up. No idea if we ever played any or not. 🎮

WOW… I’m not a professional dream interpreter but most of mine are easy to figure out. This one like a few others, not so much. I do remember Dana saying how she wished he’d “played more.” Not sure if she meant games with the girls (probably not!) or just having fun more in general. I played with my kids when they were little but as they age… sigh.., Maybe I was privy to new information. Maybe he IS playing games with all his wrestling buddies now like he seldom did on Earth? Maybe so……. I still think little things are funny and you know what? Warrior does too! I am proof of this time and again with my synchronicities.

I also must admit that after I had the first few dreams of him as a wrestler, I asked for one of him like the Warrior of today. I say today because it’s true. Well, I got several of him looking like the guy similar in the photo and my dreams equal 6. Another funny little joke of ours with that number and yes, I laughed again remembering them all. They have all mostly been written! I’ve had others mentioning him but without his presence. I will take them all as they show me so much on this journey.

I never know what the storyline or setting will be just like back in his prime days of wrestling but if he is part of it, I am watching or participating. ***Ask for some dreams warriors– you just may get a few good ones. Don’t forget to play some games along the way! #besilly #dreambig #alwaysbelieve

The Spiritual Warrior

Before I thought of this next post, my mind wondered what other topics to discuss. The book “A Life Lived Forever” always inspires me but then I looked at other things in my Warrior collection. The comic book caught my eye as I hadn’t paged thru it in quite some time. 22 years ago I read all of it after purchasing from my local drugstore. Sometimes I’d glance at it but then once again 4 years ago. It was too soon to pick that up as the hospital scene hit a little too close to my heart. 😢💔

Warrior mentions “Destrucity” within the introduction and then these pages pictured near the end. Back then, the entire concept amazed me despite the mortality reference. I would just read the words and think– WOW… but now in my spiritual development, it has an entirely new meaning.

I did some research (highlighted words) as this doesn’t even include the story itself. The words “higher self” or “selves” are mentioned 17 times, “evolution” or “past lives” is mentioned 15 times, and “intuition” 4. These words meant very little if nothing to me then but I always believed anyway.

For some of you disconnected with Warrior’s spiritual nature, just read these pages. I only have the first book but that’s enough for me. When I first starting getting “signs,” I read many books and they ALL referenced these words of Warrior’s. I had no idea at the time how his mindset really was. Not a clue. At least not a strong one anyway. Those were words never in my life before and intuition I learned as “conscience.” He even references God but this can also be synonymous with Creator, Source, Divine Light, consciousness, or any other term you connect to.

Many words he used throughout his career like destiny, intensity, energy, strength, and of course spirit and belief ( wink-wink– my book!) It wasn’t until later on that he mentioned more spiritual words and boy did I pay attention! For him to describe evolution and past lives relates so well with what I am learning now. My belief system never aligned with how I view spirituality today.

The “spirit of warrior” is in all of us if we do indeed listen to that higher self and follow our intuition. That is my entire message of what I am trying to educate others on. I never picked up one book or looked at one blog during my development thinking of Warrior in this way– never. I only researched to find out what all these “signs” meant for me and why Warrior seemed so strong a presence. It wasn’t because I knew or remembered him describing higher selves, evolution, or intuition at all. There are many more magazine articles or YouTube videos of Warrior’s where these are mentioned several times.

He explains on the Ultimate Collection DVD how: ” whatever the character was in the ring was just an amped up version of who that character was outside the ring.” At first I thought– no way! He isn’t the Ultimate Warrior all the time until I realized he meant something deeper. He means deep down to the core and for him, it was the spiritual Warrior. Why do you think he was so successful with his promos or words? Yes, some thought he was strange but he already had that spiritual side within.

He used that to evolve into the character he not only wanted to be but needed to be. He honored his true beliefs and not many people seemed receptive at the time. To think I just thought he was cool and different… 😜💖 Little did I know and maybe you warriors didn’t either just how much spirituality was part of his very essence. I of course, had no idea of my own really until an experience ten years ago. I never made it a big deal but again- always believed and accepted. It had nothing to do with Warrior at all.

Reading and looking at the comic book now leaves me feeling too many things to describe. I am so incredibly honored and amazed at how he acknowledges MY spiritual warrior all the time. This is my destiny and I find things out that always blow my mind. When others say: “He was just a character on T.V.,” I just laugh now instead of becoming defensive. 😂 I know better and am so grateful to be included within his tribe of following my OWN spirit of warrior.

Listen to your higher self.

Evolve into your OWN spiritual warrior.

Follow your intuition everyday . ( I sign this in my books!)

Warrior Book Event

Last week, I had the pleasure of sharing my book Spirit and Belief at beautiful Namaste Life Center. Theresa had it all so wonderfully inviting as I walked into that back room feeling so overwhelmed and humbled. Immediately, I felt at home and welcomed. Despite those in attendance being few, all listened, contributed, and supported me on my journey.

One woman related her time spent working at the restaurant in the old Richfield Coliseum here in Ohio and a wrestler she encountered. She asked me to describe the Ultimate Warrior and the years he was in the business. That was a great memory for me to describe! A wrestler with short hair (probably not Warrior, lol!) left a “script” for her as a gift! Wow, how exciting and fun getting that. Too bad she lost it after keeping it almost thirty years….. 😕

Another woman told me to “never doubt myself” as I don’t yet always am humbled while my lightheadedness began. Don’t worry since that’s a good sign of mine! She also said the hair on the back of her head was standing up as I was speaking. I asked if that was common for her and she truly believed Warrior was present. ❤️ I was filled with such gratitude once again.

The owner commented after I briefly shared the Cavs/Warrior basketball stories in my book. As most of you might know, numbers and dates are huge with me. I discussed June 16th being Warrior’s birthday and she interrupted. To summarize, as a child she was deeply affected by the movie Brian’s Song while crying buckets for a long time. She never forgot that and decided with her abilities to finally sign up for www.ancestry.com After much research, she found out Brian Piccolo whose life the movie is based upon, was a seventh cousin of hers. Yes, that’s quite far back but STILL a huge deal to be connected. Brian Piccolo died on June 16th, just sayin’… Who knows with Warrior but I will forever wonder.

It was such a great afternoon just hanging with these beautiful spiritual people and sharing our experiences together. They came to listen to me without judgment or disbelief. I got asked questions about meditation and what techniques work best. I felt so honored sharing what works for me. I have an entire blog post on www.spiritandbelief.com and a YouTube video on meditation so hopefully, she’ll get some ideas!

I was always so inspired with Warrior’s teachings and now others are inspired by mine. I never would’ve even guessed that about myself but am owning my stories with pride. Some have even had many more spiritual experiences than mine and I did get asked if I ever was scared. My answer was no based on my signs and trust. I gotta say though if I had something more extreme, that could change! Intimidated–sometimes but fearful, never.

It felt so natural speaking to these people while injecting my humor too! I mentioned Dana, Steve, and other newer experiences blogged about but not in the book. Can’t wait to possibly plan another event there as the energy was so positive with these like-minded people.

We can be inspired but then need to be the inspiration as Warrior has said. Just the other day, I ran into an old friend who I had lost touch with. After a few years of just connecting on Facebook, the hair salon brought us back together. We chatted in-between highlights as she proceeded to tell me how I always inspired her. Who, me? I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. We always did sit together at PTA meetings but no idea of her admiration for me.

Some of our “situations” always connected us but she had been thinking of me lately. She even coined a new phrase: ” What would Kathy do?” I felt dazed yet so guided as my confidence inspires her. Wow… Talk about a Warrior Woman moment. She brought up past memories when I followed the beat of my own drum and did things my way. Why yes, I still do that but to be told of your influence doesn’t happen often– at least not to me. We will stay in touch as I admire her tenacity to juggle so much in her life all the time.

Be inspired but also be the inspiration even if you don’t think you can or are. Little moments surprise us but then the big planned ones can too. I had a big planned event and then an unexpected one that both overtook me with such joy. As I am looking up outside, I see a dragonfly. Oh, and those blue jay feathers keep coming just about everyday. It’s beautiful and humorous all at once. There’s that inspiration yet again warriors…….

Podcast, Vacation, and my SIGN …

Did any of you Warrior fans listen to Dana’s Total Warriors episode 3- Friday, July 13th? I certainly did and the spirituality topic was of course perfect for me. She had Lacey Evans of the WWE but also some special guests on a “ghost” centered podcast. Alia Moon is a tarot card reader and Herman Petrick an energy cleanser. I knew Dana believed in some aspects of “parts unknown.” I had no idea of her stories behind consulting a “ghost hunter” with their old house and her interest in the Tarot. 😳😱👻🙅‍♀️🌵

To hear her tell the tales of Casa de Warrior and all its haunts thru the years made the whole hour and a half plus fly by like a rocket ship for me! 🚀 My heart skipped a beat as she relayed the noises heard shortly after Warrior’s passing that made her and the girls believe. Warrior was their fierce protector who fought death’s battle and the evil spirits surrounding his family. I have never been a skeptic so it is phenomenal to me of our shared beliefs in the unexplained phenomena.

I don’t practice Tarot but do use other divination tools. I have an angel card deck and would love an animal one too! Whether one relates to this or not, we all must do what our heart calls us to do. I agree with Dana about it being positive and encouraging, not negative and discouraging. Clearing our space is what needs to be done sometimes and this has become more acceptable in society nowadays. If it works and makes you feel better, good for you. Always respect even if you don’t agree.

My next topic concerns our recent vacation to West Virginia. We went white water rafting, hiked up a HUGE mountain, and rode a tram with our dog. We even brought our cat on her first trip and she did great! Anyways, as we approached the WVA state sign, I noticed the Governor’s name. His name is Jim Justice. Ring a 🛎 anyone? For all of you not familiar, that was the name Warrior used when he and Sting wrestled as the Freedom Fighters. Once again, a little chuckle from me… 😏⛰🛶🚃

This brings me to the last story which involves my phone. Well, it just stopped working the day we were leaving. I had nothing. Just a dark screen with no buttons lighting up to show anything. I had it charging all night and tried another outlet but nothing worked. My husband looked up some info and tried a few things but I panicked… The apps I could get back but my mind went to photos and videos saved. I didn’t need it then but isn’t it amazing how reliant we are on technology these days? There wasn’t even one clock in our cabin, not one! Too remote for me…

The whole car trip back I tried REALLY hard to not think about any “what ifs” with the phone. An expert will help us at the store when we return so distract yourself already! I looked at some of my spiritual books or listened to music and for me, that was the best thing.

Finally, I decided to ask for help in a different way that was less panic-filled. I said to the Universe if I could have a sign– whatever it was but something just to reassure me all would be o.k. with my anxiety. I had to let it all go even though it was a challenge. When we got to the store a few hours later, the guy fixed it in no time and all was well. What a relief and yet such a silly thing to obsess over.

About an hour after that, I found three blue jay feathers in different parts of my yard. A great spiritual number and I always think of a three count!!! ❤️🙏🏻💪🏻 No signs on the road since patience needs to be practiced but these feathers brought tears and laughter. I first got a blue jay feather a few years ago when asking for validation from Warrior and now seem to have the most of those. That is my sign from him and after hearing Dana mentioning ladybugs 🐞 with Indy, validation wins again my friends. I felt goofy for overreacting yet guided knowing my request was heard by receiving feathers since they are my main sign.

Tarot, energy cleansing, feathers, and anything you believe in will guide you along your spiritual path. I am so glad Dana had this as her topic on Total Warriors and so glad she is a warrior woman of Belief like me! Thank you Warrior for your life and protection always!!!!!!!
